[Q] Making old Alltel Milestone work with Verizon

So I live in central Wisconsin and have a Milestone that is just sitting on my desk. I would love to get it running so it will work on the Verizon network. I know this is possible. I have it Flashed as a droid, my friend did this for me, but the PRL isn't correct. Any help/advice? I want to be able to sell this thing to have extra cash.
Thanks
uh Droid is CDMA and Milestone is GSM.
I'm in Canada so I really don't know if Verizon has a GSM network.
It definitely has CDMA since Droids run on it.

Alltel used Verizon towers to roam so it should be the same. Plus Verizon bought out most of Alltel.

[Q] Can verizon moto x be used in oversea CDMA network

Hi guys, I'm currently in China and I want my friend in US to bring me a moto x. My ISP is running CDMA in China so I guess the only option is the Verizon version. My question is does it have a sim card slot so I can insert my own CDMA sim card to use? Is there any lock on the device? Thanks in advance for helping!
It depends where you are going, generally though you will need to get a GSM sim card to use your phone unless there is roaming support with verizon through another company such a vodaphone. Just be careful as data while roaming is VERY expensive.

Thanks for reply. Does that mean the sim card is only for GSM/WCDMA, not for CDMA(EDGE, Rev.A)?
I haven't been on Verizon since the thunderbolt but I know that had a Sim card slot for the LTE Sim card.. I would assume this would have the same on Verizon now but can't be sure you'd have to wait for someone with a vzw x answers

Modern verizon sim cards are used for CDMA, GSM and LTE connections. When you travel I'd say just get a GSM sim card and don't even worry about CDMA.
I've inserted non-Verizon CDMA RUIM into XT1060 and it works! Though no data at all, and ##PROGRAM and *#*#4636#*#* do not work, so cannot access user activation settings.
A sim from my wife's AT&T iPhone 5 worked fine in my Verizon Moto X with HSPA+ speeds. No issues at all, no nothing. Just worked.

GSM is not an issue, connecting to another CDMA network usually is!

[Q] Unlocking Sprint Moto X to work on ATT/Tmobile

If i buy a sprint Moto X is there a way to unlock it to allow me to use it on Att or Tmobile w/ LTE? Thanks
anyone? thanks
Did you ever figure this out?
Compare the bands of the Sprint Moto X to the bands of ATT and TMo.

[Solved] Can the Moto X 2014 (XT1093) take an AT&T or T-Mobile Sim card?

Hello everyone! I am trying to switch over to Straight Talk because my current carrier, nTelos, has been bought by Shentel and I was told that my current phone could not be used on the new network. Even though nTelos goes off of both the Sprint and Verizon network, my phone will not be able to use the new network that is owned by Sprint. (Which honestly confuses me since my phone has been running off the nTelos, Sprint, and Verizon networks just fine.)
Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to use the AT&T or T-Mobile sim cards that come with the Straight Talk activation kit. I am wondering because AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all use 1900MHz on band 2 for LTE. Also, the AT&T and T-Mobile variants have some of the same LTE bands as the nTelos variant. So, is it possible or should I just stick to the Verizon sim card that came with the activation kit?
Never mind. I can't get any of the sim cards in the kit to work with the phone.

Carrier compatibility?

Any way I can make this phone work on Sprint? It is unlocked and I can root it and put a new ROM if necessary. Thanks in advance.
the n910 is a GSM phone, sprint is CDMA, wont work unless you get a phone that supports both CDMA and GSM like the Motorola X Pure
