when i flashed new rom ( kuyaDROID | v2.7.136 ) i couldn't find root explorer!
Because Root Explorer is a PAID app. All ROMs are supposed not to include paid apps. If you want it, go buy it (no sarcasm )

that bricking was for busy box . but i'm not gonna pay for a stupid app i'm sure google is gonna offer me some free root explorer
ES explorer can do the same thing. A recent update made it able to get root access and it's free.
thanks but i saw that i already have r.explorer on my pc. if you know, is there any big difference between 2.2 and 2.3.4 ?
What? You mean Android? Well, there are more features in Gingerbread but according to doixanh, Froyo is smoother.

Well, an example of something I recently tried to do and failed is adding native DarkTremor apps2sd support. Although, I did kinda have a reason why I gave up.. anyways yeah some form of apps2sd (other than the crappy form that comes with froyo) is requested a lot I've noticed. I still don't fully get why.. I mean how many apps are these people wanting on their phone that it causes it to slow down
Will attempt to add this tomorrow before i post a link then. plus the fact it still won't let me.

This ROM seems to be a little bit not stable than the v10B since some apps can run in it cannot run at V20B
So, I recommend you back to Froyo at this time...and wait for our lovely CM7 stable version
Hope can help you

i am running rooted stock KTN 2.3.6. they phone lags alot, i have 56.7mb free on my internal memory. i have 8gb memory card. there are only 28 apps installed. my launcher, i have set it to only one screen with only dock icons.
the problem is my phone takes too long to start and freezes alot.
i wanted to downgrade to FROYO?
Need to know whether it will be a good idea or not? Will i see any difference?

Well, you can always go back to froyo.. the problem is app compatibility.. e.g. equalizer apps won' t work in froyo and a lot other's.. but someone here is comfortable using froyo so you might wanna give it a shot..
Why not flash custom roms?
Sent by Mister Mini ®
As far as I understood, gingerbread has better performance
not recommended to go back but you can just download the firmware which have all the files like arm11boot, data.rfs, system.rfs, cache.rfs etc.
Try Andro-ID 3.3.1 / Emanon V6.
not recommended. gingerbread has better memory management and battery... flash to another baseband if u want..or why not try a custom rom. ? andro-id 3.3.1 is gud...
If u really like stock go for MOre

I cant use any other than stock because i use my phone to the maximum. i use alot of navigation due to my job and if my gps fails then i am doomed.
custom roms have always let me down. the only custom rom that was stable for me for a while was Chocobread 2.2. after awhile it started playing up,

EMANON v6 is the worst for me i dont know why, dont get me wrong, it is just not for my phone
hi friendz..
can any one tell me which one is the best STOCK ROM for gaming(games like nfs, dead space...etc hd games..)
im using gingerDX v028 now but the dead space game in closing after sometime :crying::crying:
plzzzzz tell me mates....
For those games u mentioned : none of them
Playing those games with custom kernel & popular performance ROMs is a pain.(nearly impossible)
Now consider playing them with stock kernel under the hood.
Is it important how did i send this?
I'm not playing games so much, but you can try my ROM MV3,but it isn't uploaded yet. I think it's great for gaming!

He means Stock 2.1.1. Eclair rom is the best for gaming.
+ 1 to that. I also used a long time stock 2.1.1.C.0.0., enable everything using x8toolbox (it becomes almost like matej's rom) and do not forget to update Busybox to the latest, and SU to 3.1. Surprisingly, stock rom is the only one to support busybox bigger, like 19. The other roms still use old version and they brick if you try to update.
But still, there is another Rom with very good behaviour, and I think slightly better than stock in gaming, even I did not try all games: FroyoPro by Irakkarl. It scores better in Antutu as well, even if 2d is smaller, but the 3d values are close to 500 which is great.
Cheers,

Yeah that changes everything. But that won't chang the nature of our device... playing DEAD Space in x8?
No multi touch (not cypress)
Adreno 200
256 MB RAM
max 825 mhz armv6
3.0 inch display
That doesn't make sense 4 me

yup, you would be right, but the issue here I think is a bit diferent (angle): is it working?
DEADSPACE runs in stock and also FroyoPro. All GB roms that I have tried FC. So at least it works. and that's stock [email protected], no OC...

I think both has it's plus and minus. If you just want to stick with a custom Rom, then it's ok to be with ICS. JB comes in terms of more features that doesn't exist in ICS. I will rather use JB because of the dreaded ICS EMMC Brick
