I am running mosaic V and have a issue I have not hit before on android. I do not think its related to mosaic as I have not seen any post about that in the forum.
My problem is that titanium backup does not see any of my new apps that I install from the market. It sees all of my old apps but zero I have installed lately. I have switched versions of titanium backup with no success.
If I go into system/apps I do not see them either but they are installed. Anyone run into this?
Have you cleared cache and dalvik? hit the "problems?" Button in tibu and update su?
And user apps are installed in /data/app not /system/app
please use the already made Q&A threads.

Running Cyanogen 4.2.6 with apps2SD.
I ended up having to restore from a nandroid backup that was a week or so old.
Now I've noticed that the some apps that I installed in the interim are on my phone and installed, but don't show up in my "Downloads" list.
And the opposite is true as well.....apps that I removed in the interim appear in the "Downloads" section, but I am not able to uninstall or install from market.
Is there a way I can rebuild the Market database file?
I'm having a serious problem. I'm using enom 2.92 froyo. But no matter what rom I flash now I can't install apps. When using the market, apps download but hang when installing and never finish. Same thing when using latest titanium backup. All the apps installed on my sd card wont showup anymore either. I use launcher pro and used to be able to force stop and get my apps to show. Now all apps in the manager in settings constantly say computing. I've tried cm6, stock, enom, etc. No luck. I always do full whipes too. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks.
Wrong section. This should be moved to apps.

Go here and read the last 5 posts. One of those will fix the problem.
It could be related to the froyo a2sd.
Try deleting the app dir on your sd card. It is called something like .private-app or .data-private etc..
i realize there are already threads on this but rather than have this post lost on page 3 or post 57 i thought i would post a new thread from what i learned tonight. i am SO for searching before posting and not for creating new threads when existing ones exist that if any MOD here feels this is not relevant of a new thread then please move it or whatever into an existing thread.
ok here is what will help others that catch it before i did but now i will have to start over again next time
i SBF'd thinking it would be needed (locked and no root) for update 3.0.1 and so after i didnt get the update i went ahead and unlocked, root, and updated myself to 3.0.1.
i choose not to install from backup with Google this time and was installing everything for from scratch and as you know it doesn't install your apps and you have to search/remember the free ones to get them back.
anyway
i had installed about 10 apps then Titanium installed and i checked it and realized that everything i installed after i installed Titanium showed up as apps in Titanium as installed.
so i uninstalled all my apps prior to Titanium install and reinstalled them all and sure enough they were there in Titanium as installed apps YEAH!!!
everything was there and my thought was to go ahead and set all my app passwords etc.. up so that when i backed up with Titanium it would be as i wanted and easy to restore.
here is where i messed upped but would have had no idea until after i did it.
i installed Spare Parts and turned off Compatibility Mode so that my non-Tablet apps would be full screen and to make this take effect i needed to reboot.
the reboot caused me to loose all my listed apps in Titanium and i was back to square 1
if i had done a backup before i had rebooted i would have had everything because Titanium recognized them before my reboot.
so if i had it to (and probably will) do all over again i would:
1. unlock
2. root
3. choose not to backup from Google
4. installed Titanium
5. installed all my apps (checking Titanium along the way to be sure)
6. ran all the apps i installed with names, passwords, etc.. to set them up
7. backed up Titanium
8. install spare parts etc..
9. then reboot. THE KEY is not to reboot until you have everything backed up.
this would have saved me from starting over again until something better like a fix or solution came along.
hope this helps others
This is a problem with all of the current versions of busybox. The one from the market and the one that Titanium Backup installs do not work on the Xoom. I compiled up a busybox from the source last night and it works with TB. The problem seems to be with the 'find' and probably the 'cp' commands. I talked with Stephen and he is going to release a new busybox installer to the market that should fix the problem.
Busybox updated in the market. After updating to 1.18.4 Titanium backup shows all apps, not just the 5 elements.
Edit: Backup complete. It seems to work completely. Lets me uninstall and restore.
Ty grabbing now
Yep! It works!
One step closer to custom ROMs.
Just a note. If it's not working for you, clear the TiBu cache in the apps manager.
IT WORKS...i just backed up 2 games and restored them on my evo
great news
Woot! Just backed up to Dropbox, too! "To the cloud!"
Worked for me as well! Just had a bit of a hard time getting the newest BusyBox installed for some reason...

I am having a tough time getting it installed what did you do to get it to install.
NVM: I found a older version of busy box in the development section and now I have TB working.
I had a hard time after the app updated; it would freeze at the open screen. I went into Settings>Applications>All>Busyboxy and cleared cache and data and then it installed the latest 1.19.0.
I've tried everything and it won't install, any other ideas. Install from market hangs after I hit ok....cleared cache of this and Titanium

Just to make sure, you have to be rooted.
When I first installed Titanium backup, I installed busybox from there by clicking 'Problems?'. So I had busybox installed first.
What exactly is it doing or not doing? For me the busybox app was freezing and not letting me press "OK". Clearing cache and data fixed it, but the next time I opened it it did it again and I had to reclear the cache and data.
Do you get any error messages?
Edit: There is something wrong with the latest version. I started getting hung at "OK" and nothing I tried would fix it. I used titanium backup to restore the version from yesterday and it works fine.
might want to thry busybox installer instead of the steig version... worked for me on first try after failing with normal one

Busybox 1.19 is working very well with Titanium Backup. Excellent find.
Eeeeeeeeeeeyeeeeaaaaaah... good find indeed. Latest updated busy box + titanium + root = tigerblood

So I tried the new MIUI rom for Milestone and I really liked it, I switched from CM7, and when I did a data restore from CM7 to MIUI, it made my phone freeze and not run properly, giving me system errors. So I wiped and did a davlik wipe as well. Did a nandroid restore to my CM7 rom and used Astro file manager to backup all my apps. Than I wiped again and flashed MIUI, than used astro to install all the apps again, but they do not show up as installed in my market. Just the purchased ones show up as not installed, just pruchased. Is there a way that I can fix it, so the market will detect me installed apps so I can update them. I was hoping to have to avoid reinstalled 50 or more apps.
Thanks, Adam.
Hope all that made sense lol

Use TITANIUM BACKUP and use the option to force app to show on market.
the Market Doctor? or is there another option? Will restoring my apps make them appear in the market?
Thanks.

Download the TITANIUM BACKUP and them look for the option to attach the app you want to the Market.
Simple like that.
search app call "google xxx architecture" in manage application, clear cache, reboot, relogin gmail, open market
off coz use tititum backup to save the app for DR
