the best is to wait for official mango release.Cause once you brick your phone that's it.

Hi...just a quick question. I was wondering if i want to flash to an official ROM by HTC, but i have flashed various other cooked roms with HardSPL, is it ok? Or do i have to do something about that HardSPL?
THanks!

Yes you can. You can do flash any Rhodium rom with the hacked HardSPL and it won't be overwritten.
you can flash official rom without any worries. but official rom+more & more = custom rom.
Please ask further flashing questions in mskip's flashing guide.

Hey Guys,
I am a bit of a noob here and dont want to brick my phone just just wanted to check if its on stock rom or a cooked one. It is sim unlocked. I had given it for a screen replacement after hard resetting it recently. The version of rom is rom 1.93.720.4 WWE and radio 1.13.25.24. It was running a modified theme and all before I gave it for repair just wanted to chk if its still on that custom rom or it back on stock. Was planning to go for a Win 6.5 rom.
Thanks
1.93.720.4 WWE is a htc rom not a custom one
Oh. thanks a lot.

http://www.shipped-roms.com/shipped/Legend/
ROM : RUU_Legend_HTC_WWE_2.03.405.3_Radio_47.39.35.09_7.08.35.21_release_130330_signed.exe
Please anybody reply is this rom stock one .. or it requires my phone to be rooted...
Is it available over OTA ..
Any one using this firmware ..
Please reply i am a newbie in this field
Last day i had official 1.31... and OTA does'n work... If you can't update via OTA then download RUU and install it. Only what you need is GoldCard. Download last RUU WWE... Insert goldcard to phone and install ruu via USB to phone...
OTA doesnt work ? For me working - update from 1.31.405.4 to .........5
I'm currently running this ROM. I installed it using a gold card. The ROM is very snappy and is much better than the 1.31.xx ROMs. Also it has GoogleMaps 4.1 with pinch-to-zoom preinstalled. In my opinion my Legend works really great with this ROM!
Everything is fine but you can't come back to stock 1.31. 2.03 made upgrade of hboot.
I made rooted 1.31 and then custom 2.03 from pongo and now I have old hboot.

Hey,
I've got a o2 branded HD7 (original latest mango rom) which is developer unlocked using apphub.
Was just wondering if there was a way to unbrand it?
Thanks.

delete the O2 Apps, flash a Europe (aka Unbranded) Shipped ROM, or flash a Custom ROM.
for the last two... link to a tutorial in my signature, if needed.
My HD7 was like yours but ended up flashing the NewTech ROM,
there are too many restrictions and not enough features to a stock phone.
Guys im freaking out with the term "Bricking phone" and we have to use JTAG to unbrick it..which is not as easy with my previous HD2...
anyways ive read wonderful posts from Ansar (Goodjob) and now just to finalize my worries...
ive decided to flash my rom to a NoDo
but just to check
Mango + 5.12spl +FW 707 (i think its Asian) ...so all i need to do is get a noDo rom with the same 707 right?
Appreciate your assistance

Hi.
FW .707 = HTC Asia WWE operator.
You can't just flash a PreNoDo/NoDo rom to the device with SPL 5.xxx and downgrade.
What is it that your trying to do exactly? Are you wanting to install a custom rom?
Are you talking about the Ansar SLSPL rom? It won't work on your device, it is developed for Europe devices.

FIRST, did you used the search button?!?!
Gold card method first because of your bootloader version is a bad one

Cotulla's RSPL to install custom roms.

Very simple, you can try whatever ROM you like, GolCard is the safest way... to downgrade, and with Cotulla's SPL, Boom! any Rom you like to try...
My recommendation is: Deepshining
