Big problem.
I had CM7 #107 installed, flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1223846 to OC and fix a few things. first couple of days were okay, now phone reboot when ever and after reboot LG home crashes. so i tried to install a old recovery CM recovery, i had three and none of them worked.
I first cleared both caches and then did recovery. and nothing. cant access the LG recovery screen (with battery out, screen just flashes and loops) and now after flashing a stock rom via this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021554, now i cant access either LG recovery or CM recovery as the last flashed deleted it.
Any one have any tricks or ANYTHING i can try. i wana revert back to STOCK! COMPLETLY STOCK. HELP guys im outta options.
UPDATE:
I think i bricked the phone, not sure how, but, cant access any recovery functions. cant even get teh S/W menu, it just loops. if i power on the phone the LG screen is just there, bottom menu buttons light up when i touch but no function. Also when i plug in USB computer makes a sound that i plugged it in but, LG software or any flash software cannot see the device. NEED HELP.
no one has any idea what i can try?
Search for the nvflash. I thought I bricked mine to, but nvflash helped me out.

i tried to use the nvflash tool but i cant get to the APX mode, when i hold both volume buttons and after connect usb cable, i hear the computer recoginizes that something connects, after i use the nvflash.exe --sync which comes up, but after i try nvflash.exe --dl bootloader.bin, it just hangs, it just says NVFLASH started, i waited 15-20 min and nothing.
try smartflash
I had some problems with Win7 x64 a couple of times. Have you tried with another computer?

UPDATE:
Using Smartflash -- how do you install rom using this program. i thought this program is only for baseband updating
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1229407
It includes the drivers for NVFlash, which I assume you're currently missing.
^^ thanks but i cant use NVflash, im in APX mode and i'm able to sync using the NVFLASH --sync command, but when i try to BL a file it just hangs on NVFLASH STARTING, i leave it for a while and nothing happens.
That's happened to me before, I tried a few times and it eventually worked.
i use nvflash.exe --bl fastboot.bin correct?
If you're talking about the link I gave you, use the batch file, it handles the command for you.
If you want the actual command, edit the batch file and c'n'p it from there
i edited the batch file so it only does the internal flash, all i get is "nvflash started", this suppose to take a while?
** i know the nvflash is working or supposedly, cause when i disconnect the cable i get an error in command.
No, it should be near enough instant if it's going to work.

There is a certian flag you need to run commands with, if your not running them as the first command. Try looking at nvflash --help
UPDATE: IT WORKED!!!, went home, plugged everything in, and on first try it worked using the .bat file. Now i have cwm recovery.
I'll upload the stock boot rom onto an external and flash using recovery. wffffuuu, thanks guys.

So I tried to root my phone, it worked, and I wanted to oc it. I used ROM Manager, and bricked my phone, since I installed a program (dont remember what its called) that turned my phone into EXT4, when it needs to run on EXT3 or something. So now its stuck at the LG/ LG with loading bar screen and cannot turn on. I'm trying the flash it with nvflash, but it wont work. I got my phone into APX Device mode once, but I failed and had to try again. But now, my computer won;t recognize my phone and I think I'm doing something wrong, because it wont show my phone as a APX Device. I'm obviously new to this so help would be appreciated.

Some people have reported that they have to try repeatedly before it will start in APX-mode. So try again and again before giving up, make sure battery is out and that you firmly press both volume-buttons while plugging it in.
If it absolutely, positively cannot enter APX-mode, then your last hope is Smartflash-mode. Does it start in Smartflash mode if you hold volume-down while plugging it in?
Oh, and make sure you're connected directly to a port on the motherboard.
EDIT: You can try deleting the APX-device from the PC too, to get it rediscovered and reinstalled. Unzip the attached archive and run the batch file in it. (It sets a parameter which allows the device-manager to display hidden and "ghost"-devices before starting it.) Select "Show Hidden Devices" from the View Menu, find the APX-device(s) ("NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for Mobile devices") and delete it/them. Then try to reconnect in APX-mode again. (Have the driver ready.)
okay, lets make it shortly
i brick my optimus 2x while flashing the ICS debug rom, error appeapered and now phone dont boot, dot turn on, anything! its dead!
i wanna say too that i tried nVflash wich is not working, maybe because im using a p990h wich doesnt seem to have any kind of difference
well, i tried installing the APX driver, it worked but when i tried to open flash.bat it close quicly or the window just dont show anything new, its just stay at nvflash started and thats all, i dont know what else to do, i tried this to but doesnt work for me:
http://*******/2318722/http://uploa...-3D_Linux-Win_CWM_FD-Off_by_Homero.part1.rar/
if any one is able to help just try to give me a step by step guide or just pm me, i will thank you so much
Did you press and hold both the Volume Up / Down buttons before executing the .bat file?
Also, check that Windows recognizes your phone as an APX device before trying to run the bat file.
Press vol down button when you insert the usb cable.
Then you get a s/w upgrade screen.
Open smartflash tool and just try to reflash

Unless the H matters it's obviously caused by not following all instructions
Hey there,
Just today I decided to download a new ROM for my LG Optimus 2x. I tried to install the ParanoidAndroid CM10 ROM via the CWM Recovery. (place files on SD card, reboot in recovery, wipe, install) But I accidentaly installed the version for the new bootloader instead of the old bootloader which I still have. So needless to say, that didn't work and I was stuck with a boot loop, the phone didn't get passed the LG animation screen. So I figured out that I needed the older bootloader version. I downloaded it, put it on my SD and tried to boot into CWM Recovery... nothing. It did not catch the Power + Volume-down combination and instead just continues its regular boot-loop with the LG animation.
I had flashed a ROM with nvflash before, so I installed the drivers (I tried this step on 2 PC's mind you) and put the phone in the desired state (battery out, usb cable connected, press volume-up and volume-down for a short while). But to my surprise, my computer did not recognise the phone. It doesn't even see it connected or anything! I did install the LG Mobile drivers beforehand, if that makes any difference, but nothing changed the situation, I couldn't get my PC to recognise my phone in NVFlash mode.
Okay. I'm a though guy so I figured I could still try and use the Smartflash method. So I install the drivers necessary, hook my phone up with the battery removed, hold the volume down-key and I see the "Upgrading software" screen, good! But again my computer did not recognise my phone just a little bit. It doesn't show up in the device manager and neither do I have an option to install additional drivers.
I'm baffled by all this since I did not think one ****-up would brick(?) my phone this bad. Is there any way that I could just get it working again? For now I really don't care what ROM version I have to install, I just want it functional again
Thanks!

LG O2X is 99.99999999% is un brickable.....have you tried the AIOT kit by Sprosk or the Nvflash stuff by Progmaq....
In addition tho this: partitions changed normally with nvflash method.....is it done through CWM?

I did. I tried both the nvflash stuff and the smartflash method. But somehow my computer does not recognise the device while it's plugged in. It doesn't even see that something is plugged in.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean with the partitions changing through CWM. Could you please elaborate on that?

the old and new bootloader are different in partition layout and the size of partitions....this can be done through only the nvflash method, or kdz method.
look at the AIOT tool kit thread opening post for more information.....
The ROMs which are based on the old boot loaders are not compatible with the new bootloader.....vice versa
-have you tried to change your USB cable?
-tried changing the USB ports?
-using win8, then you need to do it differently.....so check that too
-try using ports directly connected to motherboard....not through any USB hubs
Hope this helps you

Make sure you are pressing and holding both volume keys while you are plugging the USB cable in. Pressing them after plugging the cable in will not put the phone into APX mode.

Hey guys,
my Optimus 2x running the newest CM10 Paranoid Android ROM decided to enter a reboot loop today.
There honestly was nothing I did that could've been a cause for that, so it's rather confusing.
Anyway, removing the SD card and/or the SIM card didn't yield any results, power has since been plugged and unplugged, just as the battery, but nothing helped either.
When I try to use the AIO-Toolkit with the nvflash drivers installed, plugging the phone without the battery in as described there gives me a Windows Explorer popup saying that the device could not be recognized and that there is something wrong with the device.
There is a recovery installed on this device, however I only used it with the "Reboot to recovery"-option from Android yet, and both starting the phone with the lower volume button and the upper volume button pressed did not yield to a recovery boot.
Are there any options left I could try?
EDIT: I was able to get into the Team Win Recovery Project recovery and - using another cable - I was also able to use nvflash. I'll proceed with nvflash soon and wait for the results.
AW: Phone stuck in a reboot loop - USB connection faulty

I've had the nvflash driver installed all along, but it didn't work.
In the end, I solved it by using another USB cable.
Somehow, the one that came with my P990 would let me charge it via USB, but wouldn't allow it to be recognized...
I can't get into clockworkmod anymore, the custom recovery is back. And on top of that I can't get any computer or cord to access my phone.
I had BO 2.0.1 for a while and at some point during this it stopped being able to connect USB to a computer. I tried uninstalling drivers, reinstalling, different cords, different computers, etc. Phone never recognized computer. This didnt matter much as my phone sucks and 4G works so I can get files and back up files that way. I flashed back to stock using my original recovery and made a few tweaks. This worked for a while but phone OTA updated (forgot to freeze that part). Now clockworkmod seems to be gone and I have problems, want to fix crap because OTA mostly failed but messed some stuff up and I cant get into clockworkmod or try to use AIO to reinstall it because USB charges but doesn't sync with a computer. I still have root access though.
Any suggestions? ... (cursing revo, can't wait till upgrade, have regretted this phone since day 2).

You can just put the SD card in a computer and download a ROM and flash it in stock recovery.
EDIT: how do you know you still have root access if you cant access your phone via USB or CWM
If you cant use stock recovery then your just screwed.

Not sure I understand. I have plenty of ROM's on my SD card. Either I don't know what I'm doing (which I don't) or the stock recovery for LG Revo does not allow flashing anything to my knowledge. It only wipes and factory restores.

Ok so if you cant get new ROM via stock recovery and cant get it recognised via USB then you should get a new device.

Yeah, definitely the plan. Just trying to buy some time until then. So is there any way to install CWM to my phone without using a computer? Can I just replace the system recovery files with CWM files?
Try this

You can manually install clockwork this way.

I can't find a link for the file, just AIO when I search. Do you have a file link for CWM?
***Edit: wait, I found the original post finally. I just needed to hang in a bit longer. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1121952
hopefully this works, thx famous
If you download Rom manager from the play store you can install cwm with it. Should be the easiest way. Just make sure to select the revo. I wouldn't suggest cwm touch either.

When phone boots LG logo then it reads:
[407] Fsatboot mode started
[520] USB init ept @ 0x3e000
[620] smem_read_alloc_entry Type : 402
[670] smem_read_alloc_entry Size Read 1816

[780] smem ram ptable found: ver: 0 lens: 6
[830] fastboot_init()
[890] Fastboot maximum download size : 450 MBytes
[960] udc_start()
I have tried holding power and down volume, selecting wipe data, returns to text seen above.
**** Edit: found solution to fastboot IF my phone could recognize PC.

Had the same problem
So I had the same problem, I may be a little late but I found a way to fix it
I had the same problem when the OTA came out, I was rooted with CWM but when the OTA tried to update I lost CWM but remained rooted and for the better part of a month could not get my computer to do anything but charge the phone when plugged in via USB. heres what I did and it worked for me
1. removed battery and sd card overnight (I think the device had to be void of any electricity to fully clear the ram)
2. plugged the phone in and rebooted (computer recognized it)
3. used LGNPST to install ZV9
4. it still kept root (which I thought was weird)
5. did a factory reset
6. lost root and went to stock zv9
7. did the OTA update to zv10
8. used the AIO to reroot and reinstall cwm
9. reinstalled BO
10. watched magic happen
hope it helps, I am by no means an expert just thought i'd share
my revo says:
fastboot mode started
udc.start()
-- suspend --
-- reset --
-- portchange --
-- reset --
-- portchange --
but when i try to follow instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088046
i ran fastboot erase recovery and cmd just says "waiting on device"
i think i need the fastboot drivers but I cannot find them anywhere. any help??
