touch keys problem - LG Optimus Black

hey, i was wondering, can anyone post a picture with the touch keys on just after pressing one of them and when they are in ``rest`` ( not fully closed)
I do feel like when the screen is on and i don`t use them they look wrong, some are lighter than the others and it bugs me.

Normally the touchkey light-intensity should be the same in every single key.

Sticking buttons...

Hi all,
A few times recently my Diamond has suffered from what appears to be sticking hardware buttons. I usually notice this if I press the phone-down key and instead of quitting what I am doing - or committing the long-ress action it pages left.
Seems to come and go - anyone else had this? I am wondering if it is hardware or software? I am running the HT 2.03 ROM so no hacks...
Rich
Hi Rich,
Ive had this only on my down button, happened twice overall.
I just press the button again and it stopped - it was hardware on mine.
Doesnt happen often (although i dont really use the hardwares that much) so im just gentle with them.
They definately could have made the buttons better!

Help!!!!

i was replacing my g1 digitzer. I had the guide with me still took me 12 hours to figure out how to do it. i disassembled assembled it thousand times before the slide was properly working and touch screen was functional. Now the problem is, something is wrong i cant figure out.
When i open the keyboard the screen doesnt flip orientation. It does on its own.
When i type through keyboard the buttons change randomly and they dont respond to what i am pressing
. The music volume bar shows up it self , the sound is very very very low from the speakers.
Camera still works.
touch screen working perfectly.
The trackball, menu button, and all those on that panel are working fine.
please help me fix this thing
This not the right place for this. But might have somthing to drivers? And know this probly won't help but u should wipe ur phone if you have not all ready.
Youll have done what i did when i swapped my housing round, i missed 1 conntction that stopped my touchscreen working,,, and then i realised i put the keyboard sensor on upside down :how embarrasing smiley:
actually i damaged one of the connectors on the strip of my keyboard
everything else is working now except for few alphanumeric buttons!

Topaz turns itself ON ??

Hi all,
Strange one here - my topaz turns itself on? Not sure if it is a powerbutton issue or software but I can only replicate it when I put the phone down or pick it up
Will try hard reset to see if its software causing it - very strange issue though!
Anyone remember the application that locks ALL buttons? Another test will be to lock all buttons including power button unless I remove the stylus or something.
OK I think I solved it.
Seems to be the stylus - whether it is the stylus itself (because I might have mixed it up with a TD1 or a HD) or whether it is something inside - who knows
I'll test with the spare stylus when I get home - interesting though eh? _

Am i having buttons issues?

Hi all, i have a N1, with 5.0.6 version...
I reaally reaaally feel that my buttons are unresponsive... But, that not happens all the time, sometimes i just almost rub them and they work, but sometimes i need to press them twice to make them work...
I disabled the haptics because they felt weird, (very soft)... is there a way to test them? or its just me that im being paranoic nad not pressing them the way i should?
How centered do you have to press your´s for them to respond?
the sensors are actually much higher than the center, i beleive this was done to force or emulate a full finger press on the icon to activate the button even though you can just tap higher to get it to work.
i also heard the position was altered in the latest cyanogen but that may be false, i have it and haven't noticed a difference.
Thanks...
Is there a way to force a calibration on the screen?
Is there an app to test them?
I thought cyan changed the area of the button, but it was taken out in the newer ones (xxx.3 and xxx.6).
have you faced any haptics issues?
I've gotten used to just putting my whole finger on the soft keys and making sturdy presses... it works every time.
Yup...
But, i dont understand why sometimes i just rub it and it works like a charm, but often i have to press it twice to make tehm work!
