I just recently updated to 2.2 Froyo and I can't install clockmod at ALL.
I literary spent 3 hours googling and trying to solve it but no luck ...
Anyways, everytime I try to "update" my phone to install CM, I would get this error:
"E:failed to verify whole-file signature"
"E:signature verification failed"
I tried everything, renaming the .zip, using different version of CM, ect.
Note : I tried using ROM manager also, it doesn't help at all :/
Thanks and appreciate the help .

Damn...I might be late to pick up the pizza!
FYI guys, don't panic if it reboots on you before saying done. It did that to me and I then noticed there is a reboot at the end of the updater-script.
That was after I tried reflashing it thinking my phone had a hardware glitch.

Does this Rom have the Quick Launch Widget?

oh ya this is probably your problem why it keeps aborting!
Anyone have any bugs to report? Would anyone compare the stability of this to the Bliss rom?
Also, the wifi module included is for the wrong kernel. Use the bcm4329.ko in the attached zip file. You can replace it before flashing the rom or push it.

I've tried and it doesn't work. When I copy the folder efs, I get the following error: "Error, Not Saved."
I have tried doing this but for some reason the zip couldn't even be installed properly.

Hi, I have a note with LPM, the latest Taiwan version of 4.0.4, and I tried it anyway.
It seems not working (as expected since LPM isn't listed on the supporting list)
Hi, with this method, do you keep your original IMEI?

I have tried at least 8 different GAPPS archives at this point now. I am simply trying to get the GAPPS installed on my recently flashed CM10 SCH-i800. I installed the latest from Cyanogen (also mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871113). Every time I attempt to install a Google app I get an error stating "Application not installed". Awesome help, I know...
ANY ideas on how to get past this?

Hi,
I'm a complete newbie to this stuff.. I bought my LG Optimus 4x HD P880 here in the Philippines about a year ago. I still got the stock 4.0.3 ICS.
Now I heard great things about KitKat.. I wanted to try it. When I tried to search, I came across these terms that I did not understand completely..
"CWM11 ? or CM11?"
"Flashing"
"ROM"
Basically, I wanted to try this one:
CyanFox ROM
I'm not very sure though, but if anyone could link me or teach me how to get started.. really appreciate that.
thank you so much advance,
Kuodo

ohh dude, you have a lot of info to read about it.... first that all you have to flash V20 Euro Open KDZ to can unlock the bootloader, then you have to root and flash CWM recovery 6.0.4.5, then you can flash cyanfox using the recovery to do that
in this post you can find a tool to do almost everything that i talked above http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230934
You have all tutoriala you need here on xda but let me make little easyer for you.Firat plug your lg to PC install driver via lg software updater then update to 4.1.2 jb.Then root your device then unlock bootloader then download via market rom manager and install CWM.After that download rom you want and flash it.For every step i described you have detailed tutorial on xda you just need to google it.Step by step and you will make it.I think this is the moust help you will get with your question since it was 5646373829 times asked and people are sick of it.

Thanks.. ill do that..
*EDIT* I was able to upgrade to JB 4.1.2 and root it. My problem now is how to unlock bootloader. I have ESA-XXXX and that 'all in one tool' said that it only works on EUR-XXXX.. Im kinda stuck.

Okay.. I got rom manager now and downloaded CyanFox ROM and GAPPS..
If Hidden Menu says Bootloader Unlocked, that means it is unlocked right?
Because when I tried to Flash CyanFox ROM, it says 'cannot open file'
