Why do you need that for? I'm using CM7.2 right now, but if you really need that, I could flash the stock rom to help you. But I wish to understand why.

instruction:-
1. download any custom rom based on stock from like emanon
2. extract the file of the zip to a folder (e.g stock rom)
3. now delete the system and meta-inf folder from stock rom folder
4. copy the system folder of your device to stock from foldet and create a flash able zip with d4 update zip maker(link in 4th post)
then upload it to a website like dropbox.com or box.com because they give direct link for downloading

I have also another idea but It may voide your warranty
first flash emanon rom and then boot into recovery and go to mount and storage from there format everything except sdcard there are also some chances of hard brick after that take it to customer care office they will fix but this method is risky

download temporary cwm and copy it to sd card turn off phone and go to recovery mode by holding volume up +power button and use volume buttons to go up and down there and power button to select and select update zip from sd card and select the zip file you copied in sd card
if you want permanent cwm you must install cocore kernel
What xsenman said lol don't forget to bookmark it lol it's a very helpful thread.

You do not need permanent. And CM ROMs are stock recovery flashable, so you do not need it. You can install CM10.1, CM10.2, CM11 that way (and probably some other CM based ROMs) :victory:
Update CWM v.6.0.4.7 to v.6.0.4.8
I had thought to make a new thread related to the new version of CWM update. Well, because there are made threads, so I want to express my question. Where can I update CWM v.6.0.4.7 to v.6.0.4.8 specifically for the S Advance? Thanks..

You must compile kernel with new CMW to get it I think. We have recovery in the same partition where kernel is.

How to download this file
Hi everyone
Have a question to you.
Can I install CyanogenMod via TWRP Recovery? I read somewhere that it's not possible and somewhere that it's possible...
Can you give me unequivocal answer ?

a lot of CM mods come with their own installers
if you have the cm.zip I don't know why you could not flash it like any other rom from TWRP. Where ever you downloaded it, it should have install instructions
Ok, so I understand that is's possible

The Device must be unlocked and equipped with a Recovery,
you need a ROM.zip and optional GAPPS,the Download Links will you find here.
At first, make a Nandroid-Backup of your existing system!
When you first time flash the ROM or you changed from another ROM-Base,
do a Full Wipe via Recovery, flash the ROM, and then the GAPPS.
Restart to System, configure and enjoy CM11.
RECOVERY:
For Nightly till 20140430
The recent recovery is needed to flash the ROM
TWRP 2.6.3.3 or CWM 6.0.4.6
The easiest way you can flash the recovery hereby
Very Important Information !
A Recovery update with beginning the Nightly-ROM 20140501 will be required !
