Heard that next thing after rooting is to flash CWM , and i googled for it for hours and read few versions have error and few don't
can someone help me out with the best version of CWM which is to be flashed on my SGM .and what is to be done after flashing CWM ....
Help pleaseeeeeeeeeeee .................
Go to "xda playground" thread in mini general section.. some one has posted a link to download cwm.. download it,put in your sd card,go to stock recovery and flash the zip.. you will have cwm recovery installed in your mobile..
Then try any of the roms from galaxy mini android development section, download it and install it using cwm recovery.. installation procedure will be there on each rom thread

Oopz sorry for that anyway u tried flashing cwm?
Well the main question is that what do you feel more comfortable, CWM or ODIN?
Wow ! A chick modding it's own phone, it's rare to see that. That means you have a courage to do it...
Well...
About CWM, you can flash from either ODIN or Stock Recovery. There's no differences in the result.

I am trying it a bit detailed...
You do not really remove the old one, just flash the new one over it. And how you flash it depends on your image.
Zip´s (.zip) you can flash with your current recovery direct on your phone, and tar files (.tar) or the unpacked images (.img) you have to flash with odin or something similar from your computer.
Regards.

a lot of CM mods come with their own installers
if you have the cm.zip I don't know why you could not flash it like any other rom from TWRP. Where ever you downloaded it, it should have install instructions
Ok, so I understand that is's possible

The Device must be unlocked and equipped with a Recovery,
you need a ROM.zip and optional GAPPS,the Download Links will you find here.
At first, make a Nandroid-Backup of your existing system!
When you first time flash the ROM or you changed from another ROM-Base,
do a Full Wipe via Recovery, flash the ROM, and then the GAPPS.
Restart to System, configure and enjoy CM11.
RECOVERY:
For Nightly till 20140430
The recent recovery is needed to flash the ROM
TWRP 2.6.3.3 or CWM 6.0.4.6
The easiest way you can flash the recovery hereby

thankx bro...i have done flashing....it worked...:good:
The developer is aware of the problem and is looking to fix it in the next version.
It happens if all the required files are not in the same directory.
