HEY EVERYONE )) I WAS WONDERING THAT HOW MANY ROMS HAVE DIFFERENT THEMES....AND ROMS WHICH ALLOW FLASHING OF DIFFERENT THEMES BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE CHANGING THEMES......CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT THR LIST OF ROMS THAT SUPPORTS THEMES......PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Wow.
First go easy on the caps and the Smileys. Please.
Second most all custom ROMs will let you flash themes via cwm and cm7 based ROMs even use Theme Chooser to easily swap multiple themes.
Look in the Apps and themes forum for possibilities. Most all themes will list what ROMs they were made for or tested with.
Just....no more Smileys. Ok?

Do i nned themes for that rom or can i use any alittle help would be great thanks
yes, you need morph themes for that specific rom. themes for other roms will more than likely cause you lots of force close issues or a bootloop.
cool thanks were is the best place to find themes for your roms im using evileris 2.0

Well, I'm not even sure if there are any MM themes out for hero roms. But if there was, I would try the Droid Eris section of xda, or maybe even try google as there are other forums out there dedicated to the Eris. Every theme and MM in this section are for stock vanilla ROMs. Good luck.
Can anyone answer the question?? No Cyangogenmod, Villain and all the other cool custom Roms.. What is the Reason/Problem..?

Actually there are a couple of them in the Dev area based on the beta versions of Froyo.
For the most part I think everyone is waiting for the final Froyo to be released before investing the time in a beta rom.
my 2 cents
But this all not really Roms.. They are themed an they removing/install Apps on the Stock Rom..?! :/

what do you consider a Custom ROM?
there are many skinned Custom ROMs if you check inside the Development area
They are working on Cyanogenmod (starting with Vibrant first though)
I mean with a Custom Rom a full themed flashabel Rom.. Like Cyangogenmod, Villain..!
Like at the HTC Phones..
But thanks for the Information with the Cyngogenmod
And another Question..
How to Install another Bootanimation?
Thanks for the Answers ;D
No working BootAnimation for i9000 till now.
Why there are no Bootanimations? Anyone know?
the OS has been hacked by samsung, and the files works slightly differently
and no one has bothered to figure out how to make it work on the SGS yet, that's why
it's in the low priority list
Im new to this whole rooting thing and im wondering what do i do now? How do i get the themes on my phone? Ive only used tethering so far so can someone tell me where to go and how do i go about getting the themes on my evo?
You need to flash a custom rom that supports theming - some themes are flashable zips while some roms support direct theming as part of the rom. CM7 has the Theme Chooser which uses apks that were made specifically for the Theme Chooser. MIUI has the Theme Manager which uses mtz files. I'm not sure if there are any Sense roms that include something similar. You cannot theme the stock rom as it is odexed. If you want to stay on stock then you can flash the rooted stock deodexed rom. There are a ton of great roms in the Evo Development forums, so head over there. If you have any further questions, post them in the Evo Q&A forum. Do your research first and only ask a question once you've read the stickies and any noob guides.
You need to start with a custom rom first, then you can figure out how to theme it.

Ive looking around multiple threads and forums and I cant seem to find how to add the CM9 Theme Manager to Stock ICS 4.0.4?
Does anyone know how to add just the CM9 Theme Manager to Stock ICS? I never liked CM9 or CM10 so I decided to build myself a custom ROM that fits my needs. Im already running it, but I wanted to maybe add a theme to it but stay on Stock ICS.
If anyone has a solution please let me know
Why still ICS?

It's just not the app, you'll need to make framework and app changes to make them theme-able by CM theme manager. Not just "building" by throwing stuff in a zip but rather compiling and picking what you want from CM sources.
I dont know why, but I love ICS. and oh alright thanks! So how would I go about recompiling the source to make Stock ICS use the CM9 Theme Manager:?
Never seen a rom aosp "stock" , with theme mgr or chooser in it. Try a cm based rom or aokp. Codename android was great.

Hello everybody!!!
I've cooked a rom for i9001. It's not something special. It's based on 2.3.6. It's customized to look like s3's UI (tw5)(not everything, like a s3 theme). It is very smooth, no blootware, simple. I cooked this rom for users like me who dont like 4.x.x ++.
I have a serious problem. I am ready to upload my rom, BUT i cant, as i want to add lidroid 14 toggles and i cant. I know how to compile/decompile an apk, smali/backsmali. I have tried a lot of methods and lidroids but nothing. I dont want to steal the files from other roms.
Please.. can somebody help me. I cant find instructions for i9001.
** if u found this thread stupid/old/frequently asked be polite. I need help
