Hi guys,
I have been trying to get the Motorola connect to work for a month now, been working fine before and for a brief time.
The problem is the chrome extension and the app on the phone are not connected. It keep trying to connect and fails. After some researching I found that this is a common problem for Moto Maxx (Droid turbo)
Any ideas?
Hello there,
So I got this waterproof camera, a Nikon aw120, which can also work as a wifi AP where you can connect with a smart device and grab photos, remotely control it etc. Everything works fine on 3 devices I've tried: An old low-budget LG phone, an LG g pad 8.3 with Cyanogenmod 12.1, and an nVidia Shield tablet on stock Lollipop. However, on my Moto X, which also has CM12.1, I can't connect to the camera's wifi. It's stuck at "Obtaining IP Adress". I tried to manually insert an IP, it managed to connect but the software would not recognize the camera so it didn't help.
I'm looking and asking around trying to figure out if it's an issue with the Moto X in general or if it's a CM issue specific to the MotoX. Any input welcome.
Hi I have some issues connecting my Moto X Force ( which is the same cellphone as the Droid Turbo 2 that Verizon sells in the US). I previously had a Nexus 6 and connected it to a Honda Civic 2016 model without any issues. Yesterday I bought a Moto X Force and to my surprise I just couldn't connect to Android Auto.
I am running android 6.0 so it should be compatible with my cellphone but for some reason it tells me that my device isn't compatible.
First the phone tells me that I need to download some apps ( which I already have downloaded), after I press "Accept" it tells me the following:
"Your device isn't compatible with this version"
Then after pressing OK I get a screen that says something went wrong, that I need to download android auto, google maps, google play and the google app. Even when I have already downloaded all of them!
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the android auto app, resetting my stereo head unit and even enabled the USB debugging mode, but so far everything has been useless.
Any one else has the same issue I do?
I would appreciate very much your suggestions on how to solve this problem, thank you!
Make sure you use the original USB cable that came with the phone and have Bluetooth enabled. Android Auto works fine on my Moto X Pure with Android 6.0.

I already tried this before making this post, but thanks for the suggestion! The moto X pure works because it runs a pure version of Android.
Did you try doing a factory restore on the phone? Wouldn't hurt to try.

I am using the Connect app on Windows 10 to cast my Moto X4's screen on my laptop. But despite having a cast option in the quick settings, my phone's screen still doesn't cast on my laptop. Please help.
