Hi guys,
I have been trying to get the Motorola connect to work for a month now, been working fine before and for a brief time.
The problem is the chrome extension and the app on the phone are not connected. It keep trying to connect and fails. After some researching I found that this is a common problem for Moto Maxx (Droid turbo)
Any ideas?
I'm trying to get files like music and photos from my computer to my moto x 2nd Gen. I have it hooked up with usb the computer has no Bluetooth. So when I hook up the moto x it shows on my computer and then I click on it and it doesn't so anything. On my moto x I went to internal storage and all file folders are greyed out. I'm running 6.0 on the phone
Chose mtp connect on stt bar when you connect to PC
When you plug it in, on your phone go to your notifications bar and change it from Charge mode to File Transfer Mode for USB.

Hi I have some issues connecting my Moto X Force ( which is the same cellphone as the Droid Turbo 2 that Verizon sells in the US). I previously had a Nexus 6 and connected it to a Honda Civic 2016 model without any issues. Yesterday I bought a Moto X Force and to my surprise I just couldn't connect to Android Auto.
I am running android 6.0 so it should be compatible with my cellphone but for some reason it tells me that my device isn't compatible.
First the phone tells me that I need to download some apps ( which I already have downloaded), after I press "Accept" it tells me the following:
"Your device isn't compatible with this version"
Then after pressing OK I get a screen that says something went wrong, that I need to download android auto, google maps, google play and the google app. Even when I have already downloaded all of them!
I've tried deleting and reinstalling the android auto app, resetting my stereo head unit and even enabled the USB debugging mode, but so far everything has been useless.
Any one else has the same issue I do?
I would appreciate very much your suggestions on how to solve this problem, thank you!
Make sure you use the original USB cable that came with the phone and have Bluetooth enabled. Android Auto works fine on my Moto X Pure with Android 6.0.

I already tried this before making this post, but thanks for the suggestion! The moto X pure works because it runs a pure version of Android.
Did you try doing a factory restore on the phone? Wouldn't hurt to try.
