Flash KDZ file

Hello,
I have a KDZ file of my cellular company.
A few minutes ago I tried to flash it via KDZU and R&D Test tool with no luck,
I got LG update window instead of flashing window, and then I saw the post with SmartFlash Tool.
How can I flash the KDZ of my specific cellular company using SmartFlash Tool? (I don't understand what are the .bin & .fls. files)

Not at all, but there seems to be a work around, but I cant find the link right now, maybe anyone else can provide it, I think it was somewhere in the P920 section.

Cannot update OB manually to V20N?? HELP

Eh so I'm quite new The Optimus Black (I just got it on last Saturday!!)
I really like the phone! And I was trying to update to Gingerbread but it tells me that it's already up to date (though it's obviously on Froyo 2.2.2)
So I started to search on the internet how to flash GB manually but in vain...
It's not working...
I tried with both R&D test tool and KDZ Updater...

But it's not working...
I doesn't show me the window to select Language & Country but this one (see attachment):
Please help.. Oh btw, could you recommend me what custom rom to install??

The latest LG mobile tool won`t let you do the update with KDZ or R&D.

It was successful but I'm on a bootloop what can i do?
EDIT: Retried the procedure and bootloop fixed!

Do the procedure again from the very begining. Power off.. press volume + ...and so on.

Just reflash it, with the same tool, redownload the files, since they might be corrupted. And check if you chose them in the right order otherwise the bootloop is guaranteed

[Q] Returning my OB for repair

Hello guys,
I´m going to send my OB back to LG because it doesn´t charge anymore. Now I want to unroot my OB, get back to the stock ROM and delete CWM. Does anyone know how to do this?

Use SFT too reflash stock unpatched BIN and FLS of your country.

So if i flash it with SFT to V20N it will be unrooted and CWM will be gone?

Definitely unrooted and if the bin is not patched then CWM will also be gone.

Does anyone have a stock ROM for the OB in .zip format which i can flash in CWM?

Grab it here and use LG extract. to get bin and fls files. Use Smart flash to install.

The problem is that i can't use SFT, because my pc doesnt detect my usb.

But you re still able to access CWM? Then you can flash ANY ROM you want... Or do you want to unroot it?

I am just looking for my old nandroid of v20n, you would just have to remove superuser files I guess and it would be fine. Maybe ro.secure=0 from kernel as well, but not really sure...

I am just trying to unroot the ROM provided by tantrums, but I think I need help, cause I dont know, which symlinks I need to remove, and if I maybe forgot any file, that could show them, that it's rooted.
I ll upload the ROM and maybe Redy or Gabz or another Pro can have a look at it

There is a 'UnRoot device' option in GingerBreak v1.2, maybe that might be enough?

I read in this topic that it doesn't work, but thanks anyway. Im waiting for the unrooted stock rom from NOOBY.

Now using CM10
Previously used Zeus ROM..
At times of using Zeus, I successfully installed Stock ROM (rooted or non-rooted) whatever I wanted without problems.
But after using CM10, when installing with smartflash tool the stock ROMs, I am getting bootloop...
waiting for good solution...

You definitly made a mistake somewhere. Try the v20s bin/fls files from my noob how to, since they also work for me. Did you wipe everything when you were in recovery + flash superuser.zip? Unroot ROM is ready, but you need CWM to flash it and will lose all kind of root access.

Restore stock firmware from CWM

can someone please help me about how to restore the stock firmware from cwm (stable version)? I did not make a nandroid backup before applying cwm.zip.
I also want to remove the cwm recovery and return to stock version.
I searched and found 1 post saying use kdz flasher and Lg suite but for that I have to connect using "Lg software" mode.

And i thought that method is easy and friendly too...Why dont you give it a try?
I have one .zip flashable stock firmware i made before...But its debloated and heavily moded system, with iodak kernel...You dont want it

Firstly, this has NOTHING to do with DEVELOPMENT so shouldn't be in here.
Secondly, this question has been asked and answered countless times. I suggest you search and read, rather than being lazy.

I can't or I don't know how to connect using Lg software mode under cwm, so Lg suite does not show my device and I can't use .kdz to flash.
I appreciate any help.

You don't need to connect in LG Software Mode. Follow this guide;-
