Should we change TB directory to backup to the sd-ext directory so that it saves space on internal memory?
I did that without an issue.

where does all the back ups{ie roms} which we do with nandroid do goes?
i mean does it get stored on memory card or on internal memory..
what happens if i'll format my memory card, does all that backup will get vanished
Nandroid is saved to the sd. If you format the card for any reason save data to the pc first then restore to sd.
thanks mate
Sorry Noob here as well. Where in the root folder could I find the Nand backups? I know I have about 4 of them and I couldnt find anything wit the BDS file name...
I have a nandroid folder at the root of my SD card w/ the backups in it.

I wondered the same thing at first. I believe the value of this is if you do not have an external SD card installed which allows you to move apps from internal storage (first 2G of your 16G internal SD). When you partition your SD then it looks like you have an external SD so you can move apps that support that to save space on that first 2G. I'm not sure if this is all completely correct but the main point I believe is that there is no value if you have an external SD card.
That makes sense. Is there any disadvantage to having an app on the external sd card? Will Titanium Backup still see it and do it's thing to it?
I don't believe there are any disadvantages. TB will still backup apps on the external SD and I change the backup folder to "external_sd\Titanium Backup". After I flash a ROM which clears all user data, I simply reinstall TB and change the backup folder to the external SD location and all the backups are still there so I can restore.
I just did my first flash - before I did it i backed up all my apps and data to my external SD card using titanium backup pro - i just reinstalled it - how do I get my apps back ? (i am rooted with busy box)
I tried batch but it didn't search my external SD card -- how do I get it to search there ?
the default backup directory is at /mnt/sdcard/TitaniumBackup which is the SD Card not the External SD
If your backup files is on a different folder try to rename it to the default location or change the Backup Folder Name on TTB's settings.
Hi. I used s2e to move everything to my SD-ext. Everything I install will go to the SD-ext and my phone internal memory is empty. Can I make all my other apps go to the internal memory and some apps at the SD-ext?
don't know about s2e but link2sd allows you to choose which app to move and which to not
Hello,
I have folder mount working and in order (I paid for it to), so when I backup with titanium backup (pro) it doesn't backup the mounted folders which remain on the sd card, I tested it to see and it didn't work, Basically I backed up gta 3 which was mounted to external storage (sd card) and then uninstalled the game and then restored the game with TB which it only restored the apk and not any data, so is there anyway to backup mounted folders with TB, or do I just leave them in the sd card and restore the data separately after?
Thank you
