Hi All,
I am not able to connect my Optimus black via blutooth to my Windows 7 laptop. I get some driver error. Can anyone please guide me to the place where I can get the bluetooth drivers for OB with Windows 7.
Thanks in advance.

Are other device with bluetooth can connect with your laptop?
Yes, perfectly
Driver setup attached
I have attached a bluetooth driver installer zip file with this post.
Download it and install it. It should work fine.
Did not work :-(. I am using Windows 7 enterprise. It find the phone and try to pair it also, but fails to find the drivers. I have even tried to reboot after instaling the drivers you have sent but did not work.
Any other suggestion? or link to the drivers?
I use Windows 7 Enterprise, and doesn't have problem with bluetooth, send/recieve to/from Phone/Laptop.
Perhaps your problems come from your laptop.
Strange, I follow the normal steps to install / pair the device but when it looks for the driver it gives the error for the driver :-(.
Any other suggestion to make this wor?
thanks
If your laptop can connect/pair with other Bluetooth device, then it should fine i presume..
How about connect OB with your USB cable, is it work?

Windows was unable to detect my TyTn II.
everytime I connect the usb cable, Windows just popup the "USB Driver Not Recognized"
I already have Windows Mobile Device Center installed (I was using it for Xperia X1)
I tried 3 different usb cables but still the same.. I have read several threads concerning about this but still no luck.
"Enable Advance network functionality" was already disabled.
If I connect my device to usb cable .. it just charge the battery but fails on detecting my device.
Hoping for advice.
please search, there is a recent thread about this..
Try another USB cable.

I appreciate that!
My Windows7 Administrator account is enabled and that what I usually use. I have also tried uninstalling and installing WMDC but still no luck. Anyway, I have a thought that maybe, the problem is not in my OS, but the device's hardware it self...
what you are sure that all the errors were caused by the device you ...?
Hi, you should find and use update for mobile device center on WIN7

What operating system are you using on your PC? I wasn't able to correctly install the drivers under Vista, I've only managed to get the thing running on an XP system.
Windows 7, i've installed the drivers a few different times now and they seemed to work each time...
Problem resolved.

Hello everybody, I have a problem with my i9000 and my laptop, I today i dicided to format my laptop and install win 7, it's not the first time I've done it, but this time I haven't been able to successfully install the drivers to connect the laptop and the phone.
I believe that I try it all, download keys, download samsung driver for mobile phones x86, x64, windows update, tried to find the driver using the system32 folder from another pc where the i9000 is properly detected, and noting seems to work.
The only thing i haven't tried is to change the rom, but if the phone was correctly recognised by the laptop yesterday, this shouldn't be the problem, but currently i'm using SuperNexus 2.0 rom.
If any one have any ideia of what to do next i'm willing to try it out.
Best regards to everyone
Solved, i don't know why, but when i enable the usb tethering, it instaled all the drivers correctly.

You need to find out what bluetooth chip you have in your pc and then search for the corresponding drivers

Hi all,
yesterday i decided to go and root my nexus 6, but then i stumbled on a problem:
i connected my nexus 6 via USB to my windows 8 laptop, and it just said :
" the USB-device is not recognized
the last usb drive you connected has made a failure, and windows does not recognise your device annymore"
i tried the next couple of things, withoud succes:
- using other usb ports
- using other usb cables
- installing new drivers
- re installing drivers via devicemanager on windows (device comes up as unkown usb device with a yellow failure mark and code 43)
- checking if usb debugging was enabled (it was not, but didnt work enabled either)
- putting nexus 6 back to factory settings
- hooking it up to a linux machine (wich resulted in the pc not even recognizing a new device was connected)
i searched all over the web, but couldn' t find annything that worked.
i hope someone is able to help me fix this.
kind regards,
(ps. i' m sorry for my bad englisch, as it is not my naitive language)
To confirm, it doesn't connect on windows OR linux?
Is it same machine?
Tried different cables, ports etc?

I just connected my N6 for the first time to a laptop running 8.1. All I installed was the Google USB driver and Windows took care of the rest.
If all else fails, upgrade to Windows 10.
just install Wug's nexus root kit
it has proper guidance and links to install right drivers
i do have the latest drivers on my pc...
and it' s not an option to upgrade to windows 10, sinds i'm using a laptop from work.
I will try the toolkit, but i don' t think drivers are the problem. either the usb drives are corruted (but than it should work on linux) or the nexus is....
edit:
the nexus 6 is not available in the toolkit...

Install the naked driver using the windows 8 instructions from my thread.
Nexus 6 general > sticky roll-up thread > adb and fastboot.
