Enter CWM after restart...by changing a file - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone. I just want to ask, Is there any standar way to make phone after restart enter CWM. Maybe by creating a file somewhere (like .boot_CWM) or by changing a flag in a file. Thanks in advance

can u be more specific?

He wants to know if you can make your phone boot into CWM automatically.
I don't know of a way to do this, nor do I see the practical application of doing so.

ROM manager does it somehow, you could probably decompile it to see how.

THIS IS NOT A ROM!!!!!!
it only contains the:
Framework, font , stock apps
its just a template
As always do a backup before you do anything.
You can install through rom manager or through recovery.
how to: hit rom manager icon, thien hit install ROM from sd card, choose zip you want to install, make sure the wipe delvic cache is checked and hit ok.
if through recovery you must mount the system in the advanced menu.

either way, editing something in system (requires root),and BOOM-there goes your warranty
did you try some volume+ apps in google play?(you will still have your warranty but not sure if the app itself works what it is supposed to)

Ive get this nitrality app, there is a option called FULL SYSTEM BACKUP is this is a ROM & kernel backup as well or is it only backing up that efs partition?
So feamode 1.4 can be use for flashing with new kernel, can i also use it to backup existing one?

Noob Friendly Flash(L5 II)

before I start I must say thanks to mircea89fzr for providing the tutorial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409308
I made a noob friendly tool to flash kdz files. Auto changes hosts file, guides you threw the process step by step.
Download and Extract the zip
run the Auto Flash.exe
go threw the prompts
at the end of the flash it will ask you if you would like to root, if you would like to click yes.
it will then ask you if you want to debloat, if you do click yes.
http://www.slipsystem.co.za/downloads/autoflash/
its late so I will leave the explanations for tomorrow but its pretty self explanatory.

the flash tool automates this process
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409308
if you flash your phone in the same way then it might work.
the root after flash uses a Chinese tool called vroot to root the phone. if you flash a rooted kdz then your phone is pre rooted is it not? it is not able to unlock your bootloader as we are still figuring out how to unlock the bootloader of the l5 II nor can it install CWM for the same reason.
would you like a multi purpose tool like that?
I can write a beta script that will gives you options to do these things, like the image attached. I will write it for you but you must test it out as I dont have A L5 e610.

why do you use a "chinese" software that probably you dont understand
a software that exploit some android bug can be very dangerous, it will not destroy your smartphone but it can steal personal data or open new exploit for malware
why you dont use this software http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/ made by saurik, the creator of cydia, i hope you know about ios jailbreak:good:

Thanks, I managed to download the files by using a public server to access your web page.
Once I open the tool I push "Debloat", the download window shows up but it never gets to 100%, I assume It´s happening becase the additional files are hosted in your site as well. I´d appreciate if you could share a full pack including the additional files.
Do all the utilities in "Multi Tool" and "L5 II TweakBox" work with my LG L5II E450g?
I´m also trying to find the way to change the boot animation (it´s the opperator logo), is there any way to make it?
Thanks for your support.

Ok I will see what I can do. I will make a few tweaks as you cant root the latest firmware using impactor.
Yes and no you can change the bootanimation.
you can change the animation but not the logo in the beginning as that is embeded in the bootloader if Im not mistaken.
this may be worth looking at

[Q] Xperia UI modifications help. [SOLVED]

Hi my name is John.
I had a account here before but it seems my account has been deleted.
when i had that account i had allot of info on how to install mods and such.
Now i have a new mobile Xperia V
I am wondering if some know where i can get a tutorial on how to flash my mobile and get mods in it.
I do not want to make my own mod just so u know so im wondering if there is a tutorial on it and if some knows a nice transparent look or something.
I really would like to get the bottom bar with transparent look and with pulsating lights on the icons like the back home and shortcut icons.
I hope some can tip me on some tutorials atleast but it would be even greater if some can say good UI styles to. I would be so thankful if some can help me. i really don't like the neutral look and lac of options in the stock versions..
- Root your phone
- Install Clockworkmod Recovery
- Install Xposed Installer
- Install Gravitybox and get more UI options you ever thought about
That will also help you to learn more about your device first. Afterwards you can still take your time and look around for some other mods that can be flashed or otherwise installed permanent.
Thanks.

I have rooted my mobile and now im searching on info on how to install clockworkmod
thou i cant find out how.
I've searched the forum now on how to install clockworkmod and ive found 0 results on how to do it !
I've tested to trigger volume button to get in so i can install a rom but i cant get there it just shows a purple light for 3 sec and then continues to boot up !
So there's none here can help me ?
connect your phone to PC
enable USB debugging on the phone
unzipp the file attached
click on install.bat and follow the simple instructions
Well you must be using a ROM otherwise you could not root your phone. It is the stock ROM I assume. I hope 4.1.2.

You need a ROM that can be flashed via Recovery in the first place. All ROM developers will tell you in their opening thread about the requirements. Some require flashtool, mostly those that work with unlocked bootloaders. Some require a Recovery, usually those that work with locked bootloaders (these work with unlocked BL, too).

The file u attached is called CWM4XperiaT not CWM4XperiaV
and if you don't believe me that you can root with a FTF file then i can upload it so u can test yourself..
how i did it was used flashmod in flashtool and then sellected the ftf file called LT25i_9.1.A.0.490_Nordic.ftf
after that i flashed a kernel with Fastboot called LT25_SXV_Stok_Kernel_9.1.A.0.490_Dogsly.ftf
then i just used the tool root device in flashtool and then i got root..
now my problem is that i dont have any recovery like TWRP or CWM
ive done a new question thread asking for help on how to get it..
Install the CWM attached. Wow. Anyway, up to you.

Question [SOLVED] Boot logo problem

Hello I would like to know how to remove the carrier boot logo that is always showing up when i start up and shutdown my phone. I tried reflashing different stock roms multiple times but it still stays with the damn carrier logo. It is a UK phone (H3G branded) and it just wont go away. Any help?
Solved. I extracted the pit file from the csc of a stock rom and then i re partitioned using odin and the pit file.

Its not that hard you just have to re partition your phone (VERY DANGEROUS) using a pit file and then from there you need to have root and then use a tool called system app remover (DO NOT CONNECT PHONE TO INTERNET OTHERWISE IT WILL REDOWNLOAD THE CONFIG!) When you are in the root app remover look for Recommended apps and uninstall it reboot
EDIT: Made a tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-remove-carrier-boot-logo.4375593/
