[Q] Screen flickering lt30p

hello, i recently bought Xperia T lt30p everything is good except one problem. My screen flickers very much.In service menu ambient light sensor values dont change always are 0.I repaired my phone with pcc but no success.Are your values also dont change please help

your problem will be solved after update to JB 4.1.2 either .489 0or .492(italy) ...:good:

I am already in official 4.1.2 when i set the brightness to automatic my screen wont change always are dim that i cannot see anything.

[Q] Problem with screen rotation (sensor)

Hello,
I have strange issue with my Xperia Z. I used to use many android based phones, so i believe Z's behaviour is incorrect. How it works - i.e. I have my Z laying on the table, when I launch some app supporting screen rotation i.e. browser, mail etc., it automatically rotates to landscape mode. When it's in landscape mode and I am lifting it up (keeping the device in portrait position) it doesn't switch into portrait mode at all or it's very very delayed. I haven't found any calibration settings in the software, so have no idea what I can do in order to let the screen rotate smoothly after physical position change.
Quick update - both orientation sensor in portrait mode and gyroscope are giving wired results. Can it be calibrated somehow?
Any advice appreciated!

Dial *#*#7378423#*#* there is calibrations.
This is only available in 4.2.2

I have 4.1.2 and the menu is there - i could calibrate gyroscope, but accelerometer calibration was unsuccessful - Error Code 1.
Anyhow after calibration of gyroscope result is the same - horizontal orientation sensor is shifted to the right ;( PLS see attached screenshot.

I just tried it and it's good on my phone,i don't know if it's a hardware issue.
You try another firmware maybe it's a software problem and maybe if you can update to 4.2.2

suddenly the auto rotation problem disappear when i install asphalt 8 and play it then i unistall it and wait for a day ! weird huh ?

By any chance the rotate problem appeard when you had asphalt 8 installed? I had this problem for over 2 months and 2 weeks ago I deleted asphalt 8 and that problem dissapeared...I think this games has some error in it that affect some phones

My xperia z sensors are not working. I install android 5.0.2, 5.1.1 and 4.3 or 4.2 but don't solution.
Only light sensor and notification LED are works correct.
I dont understand this problem?
Please help me.
I try other sensor modul but it is not work.

[Q] why my Gyroscope/accelerometer work only in portrait mode?

Hello everyone,
I have a Galaxy S Advance Gt I1970, running under Android 4.1.2 (official update). the problem is when i try to play games that require the phone sensors, for example Angry Birds Go or Frisbee Forever, the player always go to the left, but then i tried "Ridiculous Fishing" which is also a game that require sensors and it works perfectly but this game doesn't rotate the phone to the landscape mode, then i tried an application called "accelerometer test" and the result was as expected, i can control the ball when am holding the phone in portrait position bust when it's in landscape, everything is missed up. Any advice please ?

Recalibrate horizontal sensor. Only in GingerBread you can do that recalibration, because it hapened to me and downgrade and recalibration is single solution i find it.

I had the same problem, i fix it getting my phone to samsung city point, it was a hardware problem, your rotation sensor is damaged inside i think ( for mewas this) if you calibrate it i think will change nothing.

Brightnes sensor

Hi,
I installed few app for brightness controll (lux, velano) but both reported that phone don't have brightness sensor and offered to use camera sensor instead so I am not sure is it true or not?

Maybe the problem is that you are using a custom rom which was mainly developed for p990. And your device is not p990.
I have been searching for a quite long time what can cause these problems with brightness but with no result.
Also I found out that you are the only one who has got problems with brightness.
Solution for you should be a factory reset or you can install another custom rom.

I am curently using ROM from my signature... I will try stock and check if sensor will be recognized by app (if is exisiting in this device)...

Compass sensor and GPS satellite not work

Hi guys,
I've just discovered that compass sensor on my Xperia Z1 (LB) does not working. I can't event calibrate it by using service menu, all the index (Yaw, Pitch, Roll) is empty.
Also with my GPS sensor, when I run the test, it just says "Waiting for location update" like forever.
I tried stock rom but didn't get any luck.
Is there any one here experience the same issue?? Help me please !!!

Never faced same issue but Try flashing stock ftf using flashtool or repair function of pc companion...
