hello,
just got the OB last week and i noticed some issues, when am connected to my home wi-fi and i unlock the phone after a while its shows that its connecting, and i dont think it stays connected all the time, because i only receive whatsapp messages and other related internet notifications only when i unlock it !! anyone else having this issue ?
It's not an issue, this is called Wi-fi sleep policy. Go to wifi settings, Dropdown status bar>Press the wifi icon for about 2 secs>press Menu (soft key)>Advanced>Wi-Fi sleep policy. If you want wifi always on even when screen off, choose never.
thanks

The PC restarted? It should be the phone the one to reboot. If PC restarted, it didn’t finished updating?
If updating got interrupted, then you might have a bricked OB. Or if it was downloading the update just plug it again. Close the program, plug phone (remove battery, press volume up, then plug usb) if s/w update shows, start the program and see if it redetects it. Then update.

My Xperia suddenly developed an issue last week. Upon connecting to my pc for sync, the USB device not recognised popped up and refused to leave. I turned my phone off and turned it back on, and i suddenly have the bootloader screen pop up! After multiple retries, i discovered that connecting it via USB to the pc before turning it on was the only way to get it to turn on normally. It also shows the USB device not recognised when in bootloader mode.
Is there any possible cause and solution to this issue? I have tried a hard reset to no effect, and i cannot flash cos i dont have Hard-Spl

while update my phone my notebook shut down and when I turn on my phone is frozen on the screen of HTC and nothing else. I have sent for assistance but as windows phone arrived in Brazil a little time they do not know what might be happening. The HTC Brazil wants to send my phone to the U.S. but if anyone knows what can be done to reinstall windows phone on my HD7 would be grateful.
Have downloaded several ROMS but all had ERROR 266 and that was the only error that is not found because it is happening.
have you tried flashing a new stock Shipped ROM onto your device?
Put the phone in Update/Recovery mode (turn it off, press and hold the Camera button, turn it on again, keep holding the Camera button until it goes to the black-and-white screen indicating that you should connect the phone to the PC). Connect your phone to the PC using the normal USB cable. Start the Zune software. After a few seconds, Zune should offer to restore your phone to the backup that was created prior to beginning to flash the update.
That will make the phone boot again, without losing any data. Afterward, you can try updating again. Hope that helps, good luck!

what if there is no backup???
Hi All,
I have an Xperia Z C6603 UK Unbranded phone and have just updated to the 244 update (direct from 434) using the PC Companion software. Phone is not rooted.
Did the update - all seemed OK, running android 4.2.2 no problems. Then had notification to update Sony apps (Walkman, Album, etc) so I started the process of updating the apps as usual. Then the problems started:
apps were frozen at "installing". System worked fine. Left it for 10 minutes, no progress.
Decided to restart the phone
Phone did not reboot as normal but went into "auto repair" mode with the settings triangle and a status bar at the bottom (+ red LED when plugged in)
The status bar never progressed, it just stayed continuously "moving" as if initialising
Was only able to REBOOT phone off by holding Vol+ and the POWER button. I could never turn it off, it would only reboot to the same state.
PC companion software did not recognise the phone was connected to PC regardless of the various options I tried.
Downloaded the Sony Update Service application and installed on PC
Finally managed to get the phone connected to the PC by doing the following:
-hold down Vol+ and Power till phone goes off
-keep holding Vol+ and Power until phone vibrates once
-keep holding Vol+ and Power until phone vibrates 3 times
-let go and then immediately plug in USB cable (while SUS is running on PC) and simultaneously hold the Vol- button down.
-SUS recognised the phone. Unfortunately the only option I had was to factory reset and lose all data.
Anyway I how have my phone back but it was factory reset. Never mind all my stuff is online anyway so that's not a biggie.
Thought I'd put this out there in case anyone else runs into this problem.
For what its worth I think the 244 update is a huge improvement on the 434 firmware. Better screen visibility and colours and seems a little faster (but that could be the reset). Dont know about the battery life but glad its back.
Cheers.
If you happen to see the repair triangle thing again leave it to do its thing.
It can take a while for it to complete as it's optimising/repairing system files. Just be patient

Thanks for the tip . I did wonder if I should leave it but it was unchanged for over two hours so I thought it was properly stuck.
Battery life seems to be pretty good as well so far.
There has beena few incidents where it took people over 24 hours for it to complete.
Just leave it be, and you can keep all your data

I recently received the OTA update from T-mobile to jellybean. When I tried to turn on wifi this morning it would not connect and then said "error" when seeing it in the settings menu. After trying to reboot my phone it now automatically tries to connect to wifi eventually resulting in an error, and will turn off and then reboot any time the screen turns off whether it be manually hitting the power button or letting the screen time out. Is there a process or app I can force close/disable to reset the wifi or am I doomed to a factory reset? Thanks
Hey guys. I'm new here. I've been reading this forum for sometime and it has been really helpfull.
But now I really need help.
I tried to root my ZC500TG, did'nt succeed. But a lot of videos on youtube was saying that zenfone go zc500tg couldnt be rooted. So I uninstalled the root program that I was using. The problem started when a window pop-up saying "interf.sys stop working" or something like that. Then I pressed "ok" and it showed up again, sometimes the message was about another problem, like "google play services has stopped working" or "Settings has stopped working" and it goes on until I turn the phone off, restart it and a few minutes later starts all over again. The messages showed up repeatedly every time i've clicked ok, was hard even to turn the phone off.
Then I learned about fastboot and unlock OEM to see if I could solve the problem with settings or removing some malware.
I did the hard reset, install the original firmware, when the phone update to the latest version, start aaaaall over again.
now my phone stop booting, the fastboot doesnt work, I can't access any kind of command, when I plug the usb cable, the Computer try to connect with the device, but stop, and try again by itself. I plug the battery, but the screen or the led doesnt respond to charging.
What do you guys think, did I burn it or needs computer assistance to make it boot?
Please, forgive my english...

Just reconfirming your statement, your phone does not switch on at all? When you plug it into a power socket, no LED is present? The phone does not function with anything?
