Flashing ROM and SPL

Hello all,
first let me apologize for the long post, and my noobiness. I'm new to the smartphone world, I've sucessfully flashed my Kaiser (from work). Also, I would like to thank everyone who is cooking!
I have the HTC Mteor, which I'm trying to Flash to WM6.1.
When I got it (used), I did a hard reset, and it went back to WM5 in Russian.
I believe I successfully unlocked it, and can now get to the tri-color screen.
It reads:
BBEE100
IPL-0.90
BREE100
SPL-2.05
Every ROM (including the original from HTC) opens, forces the phone to the tri-color screen, and then dies. Error 260, 262, etc.
I've searched the forums, and read that the SPL should be 1.10, but I can't get that to install either.
Any help/suggestions?

install this official rom from HTC

Its for RUS QTEK_AO7.
Then you will have SPL 1.10

I have similar problem
I had ROM 6.1 from Futureshock...still problem with radio (my phone couldn´t accessble but signal icon shows good signal, radio version 1.38.0000), so I decided flash some original ROM. Aftet that my booting stuck on HTC logo or Windows Mobile logo. So I can´t use normal way to flashing. Only from SD card or first turn on phone to boot loader mode and than attach usb cable and start flashing. From SD card (where is renamed ROM BREEIMG.NBH) after enter into bootloader mode start loading and than just turn to trhreecolour menu where is BREE100 - IPL-0.90 and BREE100-1.10.0000 and doesn´t want continue. If I flash ROM via USB cable (first go to threecolour mode, than attach cable) than run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and flash process is being started but always die on 2%, than autoreboot and again stuck on HTC logo.
I tried soft reset, I tried lot of ROM versions HTCRUS, HTCEUR, QTEKEUR, FUTURESHOCK but still same problem during flash ROM stop on 2%...
Any ideas how to back life to my MTeoR?
Can I use application like MTTY? Could me help this program?

I'm not sure that I understand well, but if you flash from SD, it finish in 100% and than go to three color boot screen? ....

Hi alebo caf Vašek ;-)
My problem is that always stuck on boot image HTC or Windows Mobile blue screen. I can´t use way copy necesseary files to root of phone memmory and than run sspl etc...I have to turn manualy to three-color mode, than connect USB cable and run upgrade utility but still froze instalation on 2%, If I use SD card methode with BREEIMG file uploading doesn´t start....

I would like to install new ROM into my Mteor, but I have no experience doing it. I do not know which version to try, all I need is to be able to enter czech letters on HW keyboard as with original ROM. Any sugestion? I preffer personal answer in czech language ([email protected])

Problems with Bootloader menu - Help

hi all, my diamond doesn't stop at the bootloader tricolor screen instead it loops a inifinite usb connection error in a white screen(similar to flashing rom from device).
previously, i had the device wth hardspl, den i flashed a original official rom, followed by flashing the stock spl. the problem arise after that. The phone goes into windows mobile though, no problems..
appreciate any advice given. thanks.

Stuck at 0%

Hi guys i need your help i have done the hard spl route but if i try and flash the rom image either from the mem card or off the computer it goes to the flashing screen but stops on 0% and stays there

Can you flash a shipped rom?
If you flash a customized rom you need to go into bootloader first.
Does your device startup?

Hi Laurentius yes i can get into bootloader then the screen clears and the percentage bar is there but it stays at 0% forever.

But when you softreset does your device startup?

Yes i can start the phone normally and everything works ok but still the stock rom.

MICROP-BLACKSTONE (LED) V6

You didn't do HARDSPL right.
Flash HARDSPL one more time and follow the steps described there in thread carefully!
Bootloader should tell you:
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.14.Olinex
MicroP-Blackstone (LED) v6

Many thanks for your help the info was spot on i re-flashed the hard spl and the rom and it all went very smooth i now have an updated rom and all is ok many thanks again speak to you soon cheers BigT.

[q] please help! Is my phone bricked ?

So...I tried installing the Unsigned Hard SPL. Everything worked.when I tried to flash a mtty flash it got stuck at the loading screen...nothing worked so i tried reinstalling the stock ROM. It was stuck at 0%. after a lot of tries I reinstalled the 1.23 SPL on. Now, when I try to flash the official ROM it gives me the invalid vendor ID error...hard-spl flash get's stuck a t0%...and any kind of flash gets stuck at 0%. What can I do? I am really scared...i hope i can repair it somehow. Please help me! I only have access to bootloader.... There on the red part it sais : DIAM100 64M SPL-1.23.0000 MicroP-Diam (LED) v11. On the green one : PS0C-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x32

Happen to me too, but i manage to save my phone.
Try to download this ROM from internet and instal it to your phone RUU_Diamond_O2_UK_2.10.206.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe
It is original ROM, and it is exe file, just instal that rom and maybe you will have your phone back...

HTC HD 7 boot screen freezes

I got a HTC HD 7 that when I was updating it to mango freezed in the last step and than I got this HTC boot screen (white splash screen with HTC logo) freezes everytime I turn on the phone ( the phone vibrates 5 times everytime when I turn the phone on)
Help plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

you can't get past the HTC Splash Screen?
looks like you'll have to flash a new ROM onto your HD7 to recover.
which HD7 do you have exactly?
with power off, hold volume down, power on.
the PD2xxxx number on the Multi-Color screen? which is it exactly?
pull battery to get out of that screen.

flash a TMOUS Shipped ROM, link in my signature.
will lose all your data, but should have a working phone afterwards.
make sure battery is at least 50% charged before flashing.

When I tried to install that ROM, the process reached 1% maybe and than an error messege appears number 226, and now I cant turn the phone on, its only back screen, its off, also it doesnt show the red light when I try to charge it...

dang. well, you could try an external charger.
ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process. If this happens, you can just soft reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue. At this stage the rom on the device is incomplete and it will not boot back up into Windows. You will need to place it into the bootloader to continue.

i updated my HTC 2 weeks ago , last night some one call me and my calling screen does not apear, so i wait afew seconds and pulled out the battery after that my phone does not bood and i just see the HTC Logo screen.
Please help me to fix my phone , tnx

you have SPL 5.0, only thing, at the moment, you can try is flashing the Shipped ROM.

HTC HD7 Windows, HTC screen freeze
Good Afternoon,
I'm new to this forum but not totally new to ROM flashing (very basic previous experience of flashing custom ROM on HTCDesire).
My brother in law broke his phone (smashed screen/digitiser). He has replaced the samaged hardware himself but when he boots the phone it freezes at HTC screen. Have tried to reset but nothing happens. When booting and holding volume down I get the following info:
PD 29100 SS-BC (4k)
SPL-5.11.2250.0(134400) MNG
MicroP(LED) 0x07
TOUCH S1(v1.8, #1624)
SD Sandisk 61MB
Partition Info-v211v413
After reading through a few different searches I have tried to install various releases of the o2 shipped ROM (as it was originally an o2 release) but I get an error message ERROR 226 after 1%. (Noticed that someone already advised they've had error 226 but the response to it relates to Error 262). When running the Schubert ROM/Utility, on the screen where it says which image it is updating to it says "current image" but then nothing, it is blank, no current image mentioned.
It wont matter if Data is lost from the phone as he would rather it working with no data than not working at all. All help is appreciated as is explaining to me in the simplest terms possible.
