I got a HTC HD 7 that when I was updating it to mango freezed in the last step and than I got this HTC boot screen (white splash screen with HTC logo) freezes everytime I turn on the phone ( the phone vibrates 5 times everytime when I turn the phone on)

you can't get past the HTC Splash Screen?
looks like you'll have to flash a new ROM onto your HD7 to recover.
which HD7 do you have exactly?
with power off, hold volume down, power on.
the PD2xxxx number on the Multi-Color screen? which is it exactly?
pull battery to get out of that screen.

flash a TMOUS Shipped ROM, link in my signature.
will lose all your data, but should have a working phone afterwards.
make sure battery is at least 50% charged before flashing.

When I tried to install that ROM, the process reached 1% maybe and than an error messege appears number 226, and now I cant turn the phone on, its only back screen, its off, also it doesnt show the red light when I try to charge it...

dang. well, you could try an external charger.
ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process. If this happens, you can just soft reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue. At this stage the rom on the device is incomplete and it will not boot back up into Windows. You will need to place it into the bootloader to continue.

i updated my HTC 2 weeks ago , last night some one call me and my calling screen does not apear, so i wait afew seconds and pulled out the battery after that my phone does not bood and i just see the HTC Logo screen.
Please help me to fix my phone , tnx

you have SPL 5.0, only thing, at the moment, you can try is flashing the Shipped ROM.

Don't you try a hard reset? Or try ruu

HTC HD7 Windows, HTC screen freeze
Good Afternoon,
I'm new to this forum but not totally new to ROM flashing (very basic previous experience of flashing custom ROM on HTCDesire).
My brother in law broke his phone (smashed screen/digitiser). He has replaced the samaged hardware himself but when he boots the phone it freezes at HTC screen. Have tried to reset but nothing happens. When booting and holding volume down I get the following info:
PD 29100 SS-BC (4k)
SPL-5.11.2250.0(134400) MNG
MicroP(LED) 0x07
TOUCH S1(v1.8, #1624)
SD Sandisk 61MB
Partition Info-v211v413
After reading through a few different searches I have tried to install various releases of the o2 shipped ROM (as it was originally an o2 release) but I get an error message ERROR 226 after 1%. (Noticed that someone already advised they've had error 226 but the response to it relates to Error 262). When running the Schubert ROM/Utility, on the screen where it says which image it is updating to it says "current image" but then nothing, it is blank, no current image mentioned.
It wont matter if Data is lost from the phone as he would rather it working with no data than not working at all. All help is appreciated as is explaining to me in the simplest terms possible.

I have a unbranded HTC HD7 T9292 with firmware version 2250.09.12302.707. Recently I updated to Windows Phone OS version 7390. Now all of a sudden, my phone hangs when starting up. It hangs displaying the HTC logo with no response. I tried removing the battery for a while and restarting it but it does not start up and hangs displaying the HTC logo.
I tried hard reset the phone as mentioned in this blog

I then checked the CRC following showed up

Looks like a problem with the microsd card. Reseat the mmc back into the slot and check if it can reboot..The mmc is located in the bottom part of the hd7, Refer this for further instructions on how to reseat the mmc..

Now after hard reset. the phone stays in bootloader mode.

Thanks for counting, but flashing the ROM is not working. Like i said in other posts it stops at 0% and RUU enters into recovery mode. Then after, phone again boots in the booloader mode. Do you know by any chance how to get out of bootloader mode and then do a hard reset.

Everything has been fine through the NoDo update until this weekend.
The first problems started when I turned the phone on. 50% of the time it would lock at the HD7 boot screen, and vibrate 4 times.
Then it started crashing a lot so I did a hard reset.
Then it failed to boot at all, crashing after the HTC screen.
Then I tried to reflash it, and got a 266 (flash write) error at around 11%.
Now the phone will ONLY boot into the Bootloader. I can't get it to the format SD card screen and I can't flash it with any image.
Thoughts / advice / sympathy welcome

I did but it's coming back to the same multicoloured screen again.
Is there any way to go to Nodo update now so i can wait for the official update of Mango or if i can make my SPL4.5 to HSPL then i will be able to install custom rom.,
I dont know what are the options for me now.
I tired to install the orignal ROM, it stuck at 11% and then turn off, Now its not showing any signs of life by any chance. Looks like its bricked

Hi All,
Please can you help. My phone decided to reboot today for no reason and now is just sticking on the white screen with the HTC logo.
I've not tried any updates etc I was driving at the time and the phone was in a holder doing nothing :S
I've tried leaving the battery out for a couple of hours and also leaving plugged in but still not booting.
I've pushed the down volume when turned on and can get to the multi colour screen and get the following information:

you will probably want to flash your device.
you can try flashing the latest Europe Shipped ROM, but if that doesn't work...
you may want to try and use the Y-Cable method, basically Goldcard method without the Goldcard.

I'm able to flash this to any rom but it just keeps getting stuck at the htc splash screen. I tried all stock tmob roms and DeepShining's rom and always the same, hung at the splash. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I was able to enter boot loader mode and flash to the appropriate bl depending on upon the rom. Even when I ran the dft xspl install and launch exe's and then loaded DeepShining rom it hung on the DS splash screen.
Update:
Turned out to be a hardware problem. Tore the phone apart and it seems the camera button was the problem.
Lol...looks like you figured it out before I could suggest that, it seems to be a problem with the hd7 camera button getting stuck and not allowing the rom flash to complete. Glad you figured it out though!
