[FIXED]BLAC100 stays in bootloader [Upgrade Rom Code Error]

Hi all,
This morning I wanted to flash the new HTC ROM.
Flashed: RUU_BlackStone_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.14.479.3_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship (Succesfull)
Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip (Succesfull)
But then my deviece rebooted and now it shows:
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.14.0000
MicroP-BlackStone (LED) v6
Upgrade ROM code error, Please Try Again.

I tried USPL but gives a error that deviece is not responding

have you just tryed with mtty tool ?(it reset you doc),it works with jasjar.

USPL was not working for me when I needed to use it to upgrade the ROM on my touch hd.
What I did was run it on Windows XP instead of Windows Vista and the device responded.
Install ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP, disable USB connection in ActiveSync settings, and connect PDA to computer via USB whilst the PDA is on bootloader.
Then run USPL.

Well the first try failed.
the phone didn't get connected to xp (using vmware)
So gonna try @ home.
I'm going to try this:
No connection, wait 5 min, than put battery back and preform a HR.

This was unbranded.....
But going to try to flash the dutch rom.
Funny thing is sometimes it starts flashing but after 1% the screen goes black and back to home menu of bootloader.
Most of the times it just stays @ 0%

Fire up MTTY and do an "info 2". It should give you the CID of the device - try and find a matching Ship EXE for that CID.
*Instructions for MTTY are in the Kaiser Stuck in Bootloader link in my sig BTW.

This time bootloader said loading.....
While loading I ran the dutch rom update.
And now it's flashing.
IT WORKS!!!!!

The dutch image must match the CID / Model on your device.

riz157, try flashing with the original shipped rom the device came with. i had this problem a few days ago. it took a while to work out. the shipped rom did the trick for me.

Oh man
I think I also screwed up my HD. It is stuck on Loading... screen. Won't connect to pc. Can not flash anything to it. Restores ok but after reset it shows "update rom code error,please try again" and then next screen shows Loading... for ever.
Please help me guys.....

what if you dont remmember what was the original one =)
i tryed to delete the HSPL
by hardboot via SD ( LEOIMG )...
i got the same problem ...
with the message:
Upgrade ROM code error, Please Try Again.
1) i took out the SD from the Device
2) pulled out the battery 5 sec wait ...
3) put it back ... Push power button ...
4) on the exclamation mark screen ( after it loads )
5) reinstall the HSPL ...
and wm workes again ....
BUT STILL ....
how can i delete the HSPL properly and put a OWWE on my device.

SE UPDATE SERVICE can't recognize my XPERIA

Hi, I try to update my Xperia with SE Update Service from R1A to curent actual version.
My SPL is OK - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218
But Update Service can't recognize my phone.
Any ideas?

But how to get the image from SEUS?

Mate, you seem to have HardSPLed your X1 (because of the "Olinex"). Usually SEUS does not work anymore then. You have to download an image e.g. here in the forum. You can find lots right in this section. You have to decide between a Stock-ROM or a custom one. Then you install it just like you did with the HardSPL. How to do this exactly you can find more than once in the "Stickies".

I see someone told that if you're using Vista, just login with Admin user then it's ok

anmeldung...try restoring the original SPL even if it shows error, do this about 3 times, then attempt the SEUS update about 4 times.
strangely enough this method worked for me and SEUS also updated the rom from 0.72 to 0.78 before they identified my phone...now everything is back to normal

so i get into the bootloader by pressing volum down and power then realese
and i start the manul flahs then here is the 7 pictures i put it in zip file cu they more than 4 file

Might have been more help asking in the hspl thread but nevermind . Try a different cable (most mini usb cables will do)

no need to go crazy, this can be fixed.
you shouldn't enter the bootloader yourself, it won't flash that way.
what error did it say in automatic mode?

i think the proplem from something lagging from the hspl software
cuz i enter the bootloader and i start manual flash and it's respond and show to me the update button and i press it and tell my software version and if i wanna change to oilnex version and i press it and show to me the percentage image on the pc and in the phone then i wait then nothing happend

you shouldn't enter the bootloader like that, the flash won't work that way.

the screenshots are very helpful in seeing what your problem is.
ok, after 3rd step now try copying Manual SSPL exe (link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=232407&d=1254155476) on the phone, run it, it should then show SSPL screen on the phone. then use the Manual flash mode on the PC. let me know if it works that way

glad to help. as I said, the manual SSPL in the thread was the wrong version. I forgot to update it at one point, will add it in the thread now. (most people can just go and use automatic mode so nobody noticed there was an issue with the file.)

Hi all
I really need some help please!!
I think I have read and searched and tried steps by step all the posts and threads on this, none of them work for me,
Ive flashed my HD2 & TD2 with HSPL, radios and roms many times in the past. I have a stock rom on my TD2, (havent flashed a cooked one yet but did on my HD2 and worked great),
the problem is when I try flash anything, (HSPL,Radio's and Roms)
I connect with WMDC on windows ultimate 64x and go through all the steps, the phone disconnects from WMDC when loading the tri-color screen, and installs the HTC sync drivers fine, and then (my problem) it hangs on 0%. this happens regardless of what I'm flashing after a while brings up the communication errors 208 & 260. this doesnt have any effect on the software HSPL or radio as a soft reset returns back to the homescreen just fine. I am running HSPL 1.8.3. , radio 4.49.25.17 and a shiped stock wm 6.5.
This is what Ive tried so far:
I have used 3 different micro USB cables,
updated my .net fx to 4.1
I have tried different Ruu's such as custom Ruu, Ruu from topaz, Ruu, supplied with Hspl, flashes center and KaiserCustomRUU.exe and a few others.
Ive tried the white screen fix many times. including the SDA unlocker and stuff.
I ve tried manual and automatic.
tried entering the the Tri-color screen manually and via the Ruu.
I tried different computers and different operating systems (W7ultimate and XP 32Bit and 64Bit)
tried active sync WMDC 6.0 and 6.1
Ive removed the SD card and sim and have tried flight mode
Restarted pc's mobile any reinstalled WMDC many times.
Ive tried renaming to the HSPL, radio and Rom to TOPAIMG.nbh , put 1 by 1 on formated fat32 SD card, run from Tri-color menu. all of them just hang on
loading....
Have tried mixing and matching Ruu's with HSPL's, Roms And radios and everything else i can think of, after 18 hours of this I am fed up and decided i need some help

i have now download the official RUU_Topaz_S2_HTC_WWE-AFK_2.53.421.3_Radio_Signed_Topaz_61.44etc.25.35_4 .49.25.91_Ship.exe Rom
and it worked with no problems.
it updated my HSPL from 1.83 to 2.51 and radio version to 4.49.25.91 which was exactly what i was going for.
The problem now is that i still cant change my HSPL, RADIO or flash a custom Rom which is what I need. it hangs on 0% and now gives me a 262 error which states that:
ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process. If this happens, you can just soft reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue. At this stage the rom on the device is incomplete and it will not boot back up into Windows. You will need to place it into the bootloader to continue.
which is not true as if a reboot it doesn't continue the update and just returns to the home screen as normal

[ERROR] 226 while flashing TMOUS HD7

Hi, i was trying to do a flash on my HD7 because it's freezing everytime i open an app. So i would try a flash to see what happens, but i am just getting this [ERROR] 226 with every ROM that i am using (all of them are TMOUS by ANSAR). Can anyone help me.
News: it's not turnning on anymore. =// hope i can turn it on and try to flash again

I believe someone suggested to remove the battery for a while, try it and see

I had a similar problem while flashing one of ansars roms don't remember the error #....but what I did cause I noticed the phone was to hot from trying to flash the rom I let it cool down and tried again and everything went smooth.....hope this helps you.

i am start thinking that i bricked my HD7, unfortunetly i am fom Brazil and can't send it to repair. The strange thing is that i checked all the rooms to not use a wrong one. Really don't know what happened.
Just in case, the last room i used was the stock from TMOUS posted by Ansar. My device was 7392 already.

Power off and connect your phone with battery charger to the mains
After booting and if problem persists press and hold power button until shut down
Verify that battery is charged and let me know

try to flash another dft rom. I had this problem too, but after setting up hspl it worked.

I have the same problem with my HD7. It’s a T-mobile unlocked phone that I’ve been using for almost a year. About a month ago, I got the Mango update via Zune automatically with no problems. This morning I got a notification for a new HTC update, which I proceeded to accept. On step 9 of 10 the process hanged. Now I can´t get passed the HTC initial white screen. I’m able to reach the tricolor boot screen and are able to connect via USB with the following data:

TOUCH S1(v1.8,#1624)
I’ve tried to install the following ROMs:

In every occasion I get the 226 FLASH WRITE ERROR. The error appears after 1% in the progress bar. That’s when I hear a beep, as if I had disconnected the phone. Then the error appears.

In every occasion I get the 226 FLASH WRITE ERROR. The error appears after 1% in the progress bar. That’s when I hear a beep, as if I had disconnected the phone. Then the error appears.
Any ideas????

Can't flash a custom ROM since your SPL is 5.X... you are pretty much stuck with what you have.

only 'hope' with OSPL 5.x, right now, is to Zune restore.
else, wait for XSPL #3 from DFT with hope it includes support for the latest SPL versions...
or jtag to 'repair' the Bootloader so you may flash an older Shipped ROM.

Zune won't recognize the phone. Nothing I can do with Zune..... Thks

Ansar has a 5.x ROM which I tried, although it´s a Europe version. Any chance this could work?

Id like to know if there is anyway that we can deploy apps onto a device that is "NOT UNLOCKED" if so , please elaborate

no, not possible.
XAP deployment requires Developer Unlock or a Chevron Unlock at the least.

I have tried to unlock it using Chevron Wp7 but it doesent work , when i unlock chevron shows an eroor mesage that says "check weather zune is open and your phone is pin unlocked" and yes it is unlocked , please help me unlock my device , Here are my device details in case you might need them

Chevron Unlock will look work with pre-Mango. you will need to use Goldcard method to downgrade. I suggest just flashing a Custom ROM, you will get more features besides adding a few apps. see tutorial I wrote, link in my signature.

I cant seem to make the Y cable correctly , since i couldnt get the stuff from around my place i tried making one and it doesent work , Im pretty sure i made the Y cable like in the tutorial --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676794
is there anyway that i can degrade my bootloader directly from my computer without using the goldcard or Y cable method , or perhaps a ROM that can be flashed on a 5.xx bootloader?

What errors or problems did you have when trying the goldcard method?
Since you have an HTC Asia WWE operator device, the SLSPL method by Ansar will not work for you.
The only other way for you to downgrade 5.xxx would be the Zubair - Pre-Mango Zune restore point method. Requires you to have a Pre-Mango restore point through Zune, meaning that you have updated the device from a Pre-Mango state to Mango and still have the computer that you did it on. If you use this method make sure to read the directions carefully... The devices SPL will not be downgraded when you revert back to Pre-Mango state, it changes the SPL when you re-update the device through Zune again and the key part is that the device will reboot twice during the update once to change the SPL to 4.xxx and once to actually install Mango and at this point you have to stop the update process and unplug the device before it installs the 3 update which is the HTC firmware update and if that update is installed the devices SPL will be upgraded to 5.xxx again and you will be stuck in the same position.

Ahh , since my devide is having a semi bricked this method wont work on mine , when i go to the bootloader it does not show the "serial/USB" in the bottom. means its semi bricked

Usually if the device hangs in "USB host mode" its due too -
1. The SD card reader... Try a different card reader. This is the most common problem and if your card reader uses a USB cable (like a printer style USB cable) try a different cable.
2. Make sure the only file on the SD card is the SCHUIMG.nbh ( has to be capitalized when renaming the ruu_signed.nbh)
3. The camera button can get stuck pushed in and prevent the device from flashig
4. Try switching around the Y cable connections.
5. If you make the Y cable to long in length it can cause a problem with trying to read the file.
Also when the device gets stuck in "Enter USB host mode or Loading" you have to pull the battery and re-enter USB host mode to try and start the flash process again.
Try these and let me know how it goes.

What size SD card are you using? Make sure it's a 1gb card or if it's larger then partition it down to 1gb.

i hat to say this , ive tried everything and nothing happens , "Enter USB host mode .. " thats how far my phone gets , ive shortened the wires , changed the ports i used , used diffrent card readers , used diffrent SD cards and nothing happens :l
