I just ran quadrant on the GB release and found my score is now less than 1200...
Does anyone know if they changed the quadrant scale or did Gb just kill performance on the phone? Scores used to be 1800+
I just did it, got 1750

Weird, I just ran it again and got an 1985. Ok well that was odd but seems to have fixed itself.

I just ran it and got an 1829

Just a ran a Quadrant Standard and scored a 1678 going to try again
Second try: 2018
Third try: 1920
I think it might have something to do with the "governor (spelling)" on the stock kernel. That and that I've heard quadrant isn't a very god benchmark test
I've found that it's not unusual for Quadrant scores to vary by 100-150 points, even if you do them all right after each other.
I think the best way to get an "accurate" score is to run it 3-4 times in a row and then average those scores together.
I haven't had the chance to play around with it yet, but one of my buddies told me he recently discovered "AnTuTu Benchmark" and says it's better/more consistent than Quadrant. Also, it's free and it has score for recent/current phones, rather than the archaic scores in the free version of Quadrant. I'll check it out tomorrow, but I'd be interested to see what someone who knows more about this benchmarking stuff than I do has to say about it.
AnTuTu Benchmark Market Page
EDIT: At first glance, it's certainly much prettier than Quadrant. And it's got (what seems to be) a pretty cool user registration system to make comparing to past scores/other people pretty easy. Ran the test once, got a 3015 on a just-updated V6 that is pretty untweaked/crappy since I was hoping to update to GB and now I'm just waiting, not really wanting to bother with optimizing it.
It would be interesting to see someone compare stock rooted GB with GV, and then GV w/ V6 SuperCharge.
I just got two scores in a row around 2050 running gingervolt1.1

Or we could all use the same AnTuTu app if it gives better / more consistent results.
Which it definitely seems to do... If for no other reason than it lets us compare our Revos to phones made after 2009.
AnTuTu also has many of the features that Quadrant makes you pay for (such as performing custom tests, keeping a history of results, and sharing/comparing scores with other members). And the interface/breakdown of test results is significantly better. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean.
I realize Quadrant is the assumed de facto standard for Android benchmarking, but I'm not much of a traditionalist. Especially when there is a clearly superior, free alternative.
And no, I don't own stock in AnTuTu, hehe.

Quadrant is NOT a reliable app anymore for getting accurate benchmark scores. I would suggest the Antutu benchmark or whatever it's called. Not too many people use Quadrant anymore because it's method for getting accurate benchmark scores, is outdated.
Antutu benchmark or CF-Bench are both decent.

OC in a mobile device is as useless as fur coat for a wookie.
You won't see much improvement maybe 4to10 fps in real gaming, and benchmark scores, but that doesn't show real performance is better. And battery will last even less than normal and life expectancy of your phone will be harmed and it could cause hardware malfunction or it could fry your phone CPU.

some people say that lg paid antutu to show higher results for p880.i dont believe in that, mine test say 19095
Similar high result from mine too.
I've done no CPU tweaks or anything like that, just v20a EUR-XXX, rooted and bootloader unlocked. Phone hasn't been rebooted since yesterday evening and I don't use any RAM cleaners/task killers.
However I do have almost all services disabled using Task Manager app, could that be it?
Antutu Benchmark application was updated today (12.03.2013).
Either LG paid them to calculate higher results for P880 or they've changed some parameters to better calculate benchmarks for our Tegra3 device.
Final words: This is not because of Jelly Bean but it's because of Antutu Benchmark update.
However, on P880 with ICS, the updated Antutu still calculates around 14.000 so this Antutu update has effect only on P880 with JB.
Ah now this is suspicious. I looked at my benchmark history and realised my score 2 days ago was much much lower. I've changed nothing considerable on the phone since then, how can this be?
