cpu stuck at 1Ghz [SOLVED] - LG Optimus Black

i was using cm #8 and using profiles in setcpu and after applying Huexxx's kernel v0 setcpu shows that the device is lock at 1Ghz all the time except screen of which goes to 300mhz
and i'v noticed that the cpu uses only 2 frequencies (1000 , 300 )
so i'v flashed cm #9 with full wipe and the problem still here
i'v tried different the governor and the I/O Schedulers and nothing works
plz people ,how to fix it ?

Well,
if you install my kernel, but afterwards you make a full wipe and reflash another nightly, there wouldn't be any of my kernel in your OB.
In fact, flashing a new nightly without wipes will replace all my stuff.

My o2x won't boot when I apply a oc/uv kernel

Hi all
I possess one o2x at present there 1035.21_20110218 on mckr12 Roma fr16 beta 4.
I noticed that when I flash a capable kernel oc / uv, my phone stuck on the log's logo...
Anybody has already met this problem?
Thanx
No but if you reflash the rom it will remove the new kernal and put the original one back on and you will keep all your apps etc aswell
I have this problem too, i flash the new Fr17 & Fr18 mcr can't boot. If i just flash the older Fr16 kernel, it booted...............
soo. no way to have a uc/uv kernel on my o2xs ? :'(
If you flash vork then it won't work cause it was meant for CM7
just reflash back the ROM in recovery
Back to Stock Rom.
Try to back to stock rom as said dusitmon123, then Wipe everything, and reinstalling custom rom will work...

[Q] Help flashing SwiftExtreme Kernel

Hello.
I´m currently running CM7.1, and I wanted to flash the newest swiftextreme kernel for CM, but I get a black screen after the lg logo. I´m not sure if I´m doing it properly. Do I need to wipe cache or dalvik-cache in orded to do it, or both? and also, if i need to wipe something, should I do it after or before I flash the kernel?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I got the same problem
And I had tried your solution, and it doesnt work
However, I notice one thing
Installing CM7 Based Kernel
Extracting System Files...
Extracting Kernel files...
Installing kernel...
SwiftExtreme Ready!
Should there be a quote "Installing System Files..."?
thx
No as it is kernel it doesn't concern system partition, except for writing some files for example in init.d folder. Perhaps the dev forgot to put the info line.

the latest version for CM 7.1 stable support is 05112011, above that version is not CM 7.1 stable version
Thanks everyone. I tried everything, and that´s right, i don´t think Cn7.1 stable supports the latest swiftextreme. I´m now on Miui android 1.11.18, it runs very well.Battery life is very good.
Thanks

[Q] TeamHackSung ROM build 15 match with custom Kernel

Hi Everyone,
actually i got a question here, is the Icy Glitch V14 is usable under TeamHackSung ICS ROM Build 15?
currently i using the latest Devil Kernel, but just want to try to play with other kernel as well.
and also, i not sure my step is correct or wrong when i flash from stock kernel to devil kernel.
The step i using is :
1) reboot in recovery mode
2) wipe partition cache
3) wipe kelvik cache
4) install zip from SD card (install devil kerner)
5) reboot phone once install successfully.
its working fine but just want to know more about this
Yes, that is correct (apart from it's actually cache partition and dalvik cache). Personally, I find Devil kernel 14.2 led the best, reflashed back down after using 15. Much more snappy and responsive.
argh...now i found out that my WIFI will ON and OFF for non stop after i turn on WIFI by using devil kernel build 15.
i flashed to glitch V14 now and seem work fine. but i feel like my phone is going become lagger and lagger after i keep on changing and flash the kernel...
I've flashed the latest devil kernel (Devil_15.1_LED2.zip) and after the Modded framework-res.apk for build 15. Apparently it seems that all works, but looking to settings in telephone info I can't read devil kernel nowhere, as you can see from the attached image. Something was wrong in the flash operation?
Yes devil seems the best for me, i got only bootlops with glitch when i tried..
devils works for me, but pawit works well as well

cant change the kernel after upgradin ICS

dears
i was using ICS RC2.1, and i used the glitch kernel, then i updated to rc4.1, but i nstalled Devil kernel, after installing it each time i go to recovery, all i can find clock work recovery mod not the new kernel, from settings, the installed kernel is:
3.1.10-galaxys+telus-257255-g0b9d335-dirty.
so how can i change it :S, even i tried to install many kernels, each time return to the original..
thank you
U have the devils kernel only. What's the issue??
nooo, i mean each time i install new kernel and reboot the recovery i cant find the new kernel , i only find the old sticky one...

OC for cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC-1 tass

Hello. I wanna OC my device, but I've got problem. When I done it like it's written,
all I've got is SAMSUNG logo, and then reboot.
My phone info:
-version of modification: CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC-1-tass,
-version of the baseband: S5570XWKT4,
-bulid number: GWK74
-current version of the kernel: 2.6.35.7-pref-CL260130 [email protected] #1.
Please help!!
1-wipe data
2-wipe cache
3-advanced/ wipe dalvik cache and battery stats
4-recommended to format system in mount menu
5-install zip from sd card, choose zip, then select your rom and install it
6-when it finishes re-select install zip from sd card but this time you choose oc kernel to install
7-reboot your phone
8-enjoy xD
hope this will be useful
It would be nice, but I don't wanna lose my data...
every method you will use you will lose your data... wipe data is required if you want to continue using your device...
can i instal oc by the odin downloader??
if you have flashed an OC kernel and now you are stuck on Samsung logo then no need to wipe data just flash the rom again and reboot
data wipe is needed when you get a bootloop
Sorry for long break
I tried by odin but it's don't work. Can you tell me from where i can get zip file with OC? I installed CyanogenMod by CMW, so i think oc should go this way too, right?

Cm7 already has oc kernel. Just go to settings, cm settings, performance, click ok for pop up message, cpu frequency, set it above 604 but remember, not all minis can take 800 or above. 710 to 752 will do just fine..
