Hi, currently I am running ARHD 1.1.8 in my IS and is very stable while it is running, but got one issue, major or minor, is when i power off and boot my phone OR restart my phone, it got the white screen with text (HTC) only, then it stuck there for few mins... after so long then I pull out my battery and plug it in again and start again, everything is fine and working probably..
This already happened few times to me.. anyone here having such issue also?

Just saw the news and downloaded the new cyanogen rom, connected my phone via cable to my pc and it stopped responding. The screen is black the trackball is glowing sometimes. Anyone experienced this? Should i wait or just pull out the battery and reboot?
/edit: Never mind i just rebooted trough adb. Still, im curious about the reason.

change the title of the thread to solved so mods know to remove
My HTC One has now twice on very separate occasions frozen while booting and it does not restart when the power button is held down. Using the HTC One All-In-One tool to reboot it and that's not working, either. Non-removable battery is really annoying right now, though I always hoped it wouldn't be.
EDIT: Any ideas on how to get it to reboot, without having to wait the battery to run out?
I would return it stating random reboots as the reason.

I assume I should reset the software to stock, and the bootloader to "Locked"? Should I also change the CID back?
Hi Guys,
I have a serious problem with my Inc S. Lately, after using a few apps (mainly on the bus) the phone will go to the lock screen. A this point when the power button to wake the phone, it will just hang. The backlights will still be on but the phone is unresponsive. I have pull the battery out for 10-15 mins before it will restart. This issue happens at least 2-3 times a day. I can see no reason why this would happen. I have tried a factory reset but nothing works. Any help to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Telling us your issue is fine. However, we need more information such as your bootloader status as well as what ROM you are currently on (if you are of course)
I have unlocked the bootloader, cwm recovery, but still running stock Rom. Haven't flashed a new Rom as yet. The phone seems to get quite hot, too. I think overheating may be the problem as it won't turn on for 15 - 30 mins after battery has been pulled out, which suggests the phone would need that time to cool? Dunno, just a thought.

Overheating is most likely your culprit. But its pretty difficult to pull the phone to about 50 degrees you really should watch whats running in your background and what applications you are running. Overheating may damage your phone and I assume you probably won't want that.
Would flashing a new Rom help? Never done it before.

Ok, so when the screen blacks out, I can still receive sms. I have turned the screen time out to "never" (as it seems to only lock up when it goes to sleep mode), but it still blacks out after say 1/2 hour and screen becomes unresponsive. Have to pull battery out for a while. Is this a hardware issue rather than a software issue?
This still an ongoing issue, and driving me nuts. When ever the phone goes to the lock screen or after a phonecall, it wont come back on. The touch still works (can play music, etc by touching screen from memory) but the screen wont show anything. Have flashed cm7.2, done wipes, etc with no luck. Any help?

Ok now that is not an overheating issue. That's probably a ROM issue or a kernel issue. I would suggest switching ROMs, maybe CyanVivoX or CyanVivo10.1 if AOSP is your thing. If not then maybe SVHD, Nik Project X Rebirth, or ViperVivo for Sense 4.1 (or Blackout or ARHD if you want Sense 3.6). Happy flashing
After a month of stuffing around and flashing my phone with different tons, I am still having the same problem. The only solution I have found is to install a wakelock app from the playstore, which isn't ideal as the screen stays on, drains battery and everything gets activated when the phone is in my pocket (mates are sick of getting phantom calls from me). The phone is no longer in warranty so I don't wanna take it to a tech.... There has to be a solution. Any further help woyl be greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys
Hope, some of you can help me. The problem is:
i bought a new HTC One Mini 2. Cause i had a Cyanogen 10.1 on my previous phone, i thought, that i should install a new CyanogenMod for this phone again. So i unlocked und flashed the Phone. As custom recovery i used TWRP 2.8.5.0... Found that one here in a Thread. After i flashed cm-12-20150411-NIGHTLY-memul.zip on it. After all, i started my phone again and all worked fine. i thought....
So yesterday i powered off my phone, plugged it to the charging-cable and went to sleep. In the morning i got up, picked my phone and wanted to turn it on. What i saw, was the charging screen, blink led is standing on orange and thats it. Cant power it off again, cant boot to recovery... nothing...
And the point is, i dont have the ultilities and the skill to open the phone and remove the battery to see, if that is the problem.
Do you have any ideas for that?? Thanks for leave an answer
lol

I works again. was some buggy thing, i guess. A friend took my phone, did same combination that i did to boot in recovery mode and BOOM it reboots and work properly. So, i can't tell u a real solutions, but if you got same problem, keep trying with the POWER-Button and the VOLUME_DOWN-Button. Worked in my case.
Thread can get closed.

What he did was a hard reboot, accomplished by holding the power and vol-up buttons for about 10 seconds. Just wanted to add this.
Hey guys,
any solution to this problem??
Got the same issue. unlocked bootloader with htcdev, installed TWRP Recovery and rooted phone, everything worked fine yesterday.
Today I installed xposed framework, then I plugged-in the charging cable and turned off the phone because I wanted to flash xposed in Recovery. But when the phone turned off, it only showed the charging screen with the message ("This build is for development purposes only Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action.") and didn't react to any button pressings until the battery finally died.
Then I plugged in charging cable again. Now I have again the charging screen, only difference is that the LED doesn't flash permanently but it now blinks. Computer recognizes phone but I can't send fastboot commands since it is turned off.
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: After a lot of tries, I finally also managed to fix it with 10 seconds power + volume up....
Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone around here had some ideas on what to do.
My LG G4 had been working fine until today. I unlocked the screen to check my e-mail and it completely froze. It was plugged in at the time, so I unplugged it to see if I could restart it. The charging light was still blinking, the power button didn't respond, absolutely nothing.
I took the battery out, left it for a minute or so and rebooted. It loaded, unlocked, but I could only get to the app menu before it completely froze again. Afterwards, screen went black.
On the third try, it booted up to the LG logo and that's it. It popped up about 3 times and screen went black. No other response whatsoever. I can only try to reboot again only after taking out the battery, but it does the same thing.
I switched the battery with another one of the same model, nothing changed. Computer doesn't recognize it either.
I've looked around for a bit and I can't find anything like my case. The closest thing described is the boot loop. I'm not exactly sure that's my case, but it seems similar to a certain degree.
I got it to boot to recovery mode, but it doesn't do anything. It asks me if I'm sure I want to run it, and in the second 'yes' it freezes up completely again. Screen goes black and does absolutely nothing else.
Added note, phone upgraded to 6.0 yesterday morning. I had no issues with it until now. No app updates were running at freezing time.
I'm considering taking it to the store before I try anything myself, just in case there is still some warranty active.... But any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I was afraid so... Went directly to the T-Mobile store where I bought it and, since the warranty was still active, they exchanged it on the spot.
I just hope this one lasts longer than the other one did...
Thanks!

That is an excellent question...
Btw, does your screen freeze up sometimes? 'Cause mine sometimes goes unresponsive right after I unlock it... I just lock and unlock it again and keeps working just fine, but it's kind of annoying... old one did it and it, now this one does it sometimes too...

Good to know it's not just me then. Guess it's a common screen glitch then.
Thank you for the info!
Well another 505 g4 bites the dust. Playing a game, backed out of it, phone froze, pulled battery, turned on to endless bootloop, pulled battery again, now nothing and I mean nothing, no boot loop, no nothing
Definitely a brick. Computer doesn't recognize or even try to charge it. Hopefully still under warranty.
