I think you've diagnosed the problem quite well yourself. As you say: "Your screen is not working."
So apart from prying the phone open and check for loose connections (which I would not advise) you should have it serviced/replaced.

Thanks for u r suggestion .., i try to that.., now display is working but.., phone was hanging (Freeze).. i try factory reset than problem continue.., may i thing my updating was wrong.., kindly tell me what Rom was official lg launching., i used before v10f in India.., now v10l custom Rom., kindly inform me

Here is a page linking to most stock ROMs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
There's also 10e for India there. Try to flash the latest for Europe (V20L), and if it doesn't work you can go back to 10e.

Thank u dear

i try to update to Cyanogen Mod 7.1.., kindly suggest me its fine or not????????

CM7.1 is a fine ROM. Download the latest version from here http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=p990, there are some known problems with the official 7.1 release.

how to fix the issues

i install cm7 in u r way but still screen was freeze & stuck i cant run probably >>>>>>>>>>>> what to do

screen not working again
dear,
i install v20l eur version via smart flash its working fine in past more then 15 days, but now still same problem came on phone working perfectly, but screen was only black.., still i remove the screen carbon strip and again insert but screen not working.., i cant understand what's problem that, its software or hardware problem

Can you see lg logo when booting or recovery menu? If yes then i think its not hw fault.
Sent from my Optimus 2X using xda premium

no... i cant see the lg logos .. display back led light only blinking ., and then touch was work then i connect the LG OSP,, phone was working perfect but screen not displaying..,

So its hw related.

hw problem means ( lcd display was problem or mother board????)

I would guess its lcd flex cable.

hi
yes ur right thats exactly what needs to be done it also worked for me
Didn't work for me. Now on Cherry Magnum HD Update 3. Smooth and very responsive. Everything works!
Stay off from CSL Spice 2.3.4 FB0-318D-0-5012-A03
I own a spice Mi-410. The A03 update seems to have greatly improved battery life (just over 3 days with limited calls, occasional fruit ninja, and data always on in 2G mode)
I started suffering from wake up lag issues on the official spice Gingerbread update FB0-318D-0-5012-A03 all of a sudden. An additional problem is that bluetooth support is very limited to receiving files on the stock Spice GB rom.
Since I had a good experience with the stock Cherry Magnum GB ROM A01 version (except for the lower battery life), I tried the more recent version (update 3) which is also an A03 release. I feel this is the best stock GB ROM currently for the Spice Mi-410. Of course removing some unnecessary bloatware also helps. For example I really do not see the need for nero sync. Also restored back the splash image and bootup animation/sounds from the Spice ROM. Having no issues for the last few weeks.

WellcoM A99's Gingerbread ROM is the most stable one (latest also) available, it's based on 3.18E build
ZERO software bug I've found so far... (assuming touch screen axis inversion & weak GPS signal are hardware problems)

IIRC I used SUT to flash that ROM
Sorry for the confusing statements. The A03 update is pretty good, but I had three issues with it.
1. Limited bluetooth support (try sending files from your phone with bluetooth). Have to use a third party app to deal with this problem.
2. GPS is quite poor. Takes a long time to get a lock.
3. Camera color balance does not work well.
4. Missing Android Gingerbread keyboard. In my opinion touchpal keyboard though better than the Froyo keyboard is not as good as the GB keyboard.
The A01 update which I tried caused issues with the wakeup lag but atleast had a working GPS and proper color balance.
For the reasons listed above I prefer the Cherry MagnumHD FB0-318D-0-5019-A03 ROM to the Spice FB0-318D-0-5012-A03 ROM.

Not sure what you mean by weak GPS signal and touch screen axis inversion. I get a GPS lock (outdoors) within 30s most of the time and within 60s all the time, with AGPS.

yeah, with A-GPS it sure is very fast... it is supposed to
I was talking about the vanilla offline GPS, slow & painful as hell 99% of the time
The vanilla offline GPS can take as much as 10-15minutes before it gets a GPS lock and this I mean outdoors. This is especially true if the GPS is offline for sometime as it has to download the ephemeris data again. For more information you can read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_signals.
Since Ideos X6 variants all use the Quacomm Snapdragon 8255 SoC there should be no difference in the performance of the system compared to say the HTC Desire HD or Desire-S. Any issues (and I have not found any GPS issues with the Desire-S which I tested for two weeks and neither found any with the Spice Mi-410) is likely to be firmware related. I did have GPS issues with the Spice Mi-410 GB A03 firmware which was very stable otherwise.
So likely a firmware issue.
You can also try the GPS Test app from the android market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.chartcross.gpstest&hl=en

MI410 Cancer with CHerry A03
Hi,
I have upgraded to Cherry Magnum HD A01, and it was all fine.
Upgraded to A03 (update 3), Battery Life has increased, and Touch felt as good, all was great till last week. Thats when issues started.
Problems:
1) Very slow response on trying to unlock screen
2) Very slow performance
3) Lag in ringtone (As if there are scratches while running a CD)
4) Call answers after 5 seconds
5) ....... Overall runs as if its struggling to survive with Cancer.
I Tried:
1) Cleared Cache (Helped for an hour)
2) Factory Rest (Helped for a day)
3) Reinstalled Firmware Removed Google Account running with new Google Account (Helping so far, aint sure when it start stuggling with Cancer again)
4)Tried to flash with Spice CSL A03 (dint work)
Any help in this regards will help many ambitious impatient users of MI410 like me who rushed to flash by re branding.

Hello guys,
I recently rooted LG Optimus Black (2.3.4, version v20e) using SmartFlash. All has worked fine. I have SuperUser and AnReboot installed on my phone.
But my phone reboots instantly on installing ANY app whether from Market or Offline.
I am new to this whole rooting and flashing new ROMs stuff and also passionate about modifying my smartphone.
Please help me with some solution.

[Q] Microphone problem,people can't hear me sometimes

Hi... I have some crazy problem. When I speak with someone,at one second(not every time) microphone just stops working and they cant hear me anymore. Than I turn speaker on and off and everithing works again. This happend first time when I officialy updated v20b on my Lg. Problem is I now have unlocked bootloader, vanir custom rom etc so I lost my warrnity. Help!!!!!
If it didn't work on v20b it's a hardware failure and therefore the warranty still persists. Just flash back an official stock firmware and send it to LG.
Sent from my LG Optimus 4X HD
Maybe not. I've recently seen a discussion about this. Maybe @ezet ot @Flying_Bear could help.
Sent from my OmniROM-powered LG Optimus 4X HD
I searched everyting, but coudn't find anything. I'm sca te ed now if I send it to LG and they see CMW recovery instead official one...bye bye warrnity
Its not a hw issue that they can fix for sure; they will probably just reflash kdz and be done with it.
Issue seems to be caused by VoIP programs somehow. For me the culprit was viber, for ezet skype. No fix, other than flashing a different rom, and hoping the bug doesnt appear again (i had this issue on 4-5 separate roms, including stock, so its not related only to custom roms)
Yeap, happens to me too. Only quick solution is to open the speakerphone, if the other party hasn't already closed the phone cause they didn't hear a thing..
Same issue on stock rom
Hi, I have official JB 4.1.2 stock rom (v20c), and I experience same issue from time to time. I have sent an email to lg support, hopefully I will get some useful answer, which I will post here. Did not try the speaker on/off workaround, maybe it will work for me, at least I wont have to redial all the time...
