Min and Max CPU settings... :D

Hello guys! I have Xperia x8 and use nAa.-11 and 2.1.9 CM7 ... I just want to say that the processor can accelerate your mobile phone... How! go to settings / CyanogenMod settings / PREFORMANCE / OK to the warning / CPU settings / Low CPU frequency is 480MHz and select, then go to MAX CPU frequency is 729MHz and select... That's it! : D I was not trying a speed up over this so that we would not have stuck ... :/ The only problem is that the battery lasts one day :/ If I've helped click thanks... : D Sorry about the bad English...

Over Clock on Glitch Kernel

Can someone tell me how to over clock with v14 B6 just where to set things at?
Sent from my SGH-I897 using XDA
There is an app called "pimp my cpu" (I believe it's in the market) that will allow you to easily overclock the Glitch kernel. Might want to give that whirl.

I don't have it on my phone right now, but I believe all you have to do is open the app, pick a maximum cpu frequency (e.g. 1400 MHz) and long-click on it. It will pop up "set as max", and when you click that, it will put that as your max speed until you reboot.
If you want to go farther than that, you can create profiles that will load on startup, and tweak the undervoltage settings, but for a simple overclocking, you're actually in a good place with PMC.
The best one for glitch kernel is the nstools

[APP] Vsel Calculator

Hello!
So this app was created originally for Motorola Defy, but i would like to test it on other devices.
It calculates the ideal Vsel based on your CPU frequency.
If you have 4 Vsels it will show you 4 results. If you have 3 it will show you 3
You can find the download link in the original thread (link below).
I hope you will enjoy it!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815142
Very useful app, auto detection and calculate works just fine.
Suggestion: Add an update feature via app itself
Question/Comment: What method are you using to calculate vsel values? First two values seem to be low, I am running on higher values. But last two vsel values seem to be high, I am running on much lower values...and haven't had any problems so far.
Great job!

Well, yeah, I've seen the formula...I've read the original thread before installing the apk, just didn't know where the formula comes from and how safe is to use this values.
Like I said, vsel values for lower freqs seem to be unstable for me, and the ones for uper freqs are higher than the ones I use at the moment. (by 4)

You know how to fix being a "complete noob"? Reading and research. You need to google it and search this forum. I can't just tell you what settings to use because it varies. I wouldn't buy Tegrak either. SetCPU will work just fine to adjust voltages.

You go under SetCPU --> Voltages and adjust each voltage for each MHz you want. Make sure you save and check the box "Set on Boot" at bottom.
I wouldn't adjust much starting off, maybe 100?
Also, PLEASE BACK THEM UP so you can go back if something goes wrong. You can do that with the icon at the top of that voltage page.
ANDREW MY SETCPU DOES NOT HAVE A VOLT OPTION. THAT IS WHAT IM TRYING TO TELL YOU.
HOW TO GET THE VOLT OPTION?

Also, easy on the all caps, please sir. I'm actually trying to help you instead of making you look for it.
If you have this same app, it should be there. Otherwise, probably the reason it doesn't is because the kernel doesn't support it. Which kernel are you on? I don't know what rocket rom comes with by default. Maybe try NoteCore or Speedmod?
Edit:
Look under Settings --> About Phone to see which kernel you have.
I sincerely apologize for the caps. I'm just pissed off because I just can do anything but Undervolt. Sincerely apologies.
I am on note core v14 I tried with speed mod also. But it won't just show. Suicidal tendencies. Please. Help

What? That's crazy! Go to Settings --> Apps --> and find SetCPU and clear cache on it. Then, open it again and see. Just a wild try. Really odd though.
---------- Post added at 11:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:23 AM ----------
Doing some research, I think NoteCore is already undervolted. You can change the clock speed with SetCPU and OC or not, but I think it is already undervolted.
Ya I know ow thanks a ton mate shifted to a new kernel. Some dafuqq or something its showing the voltage sign. Seeing what's the best for me. Thanks anyway. Great help

10-post rule. to minimize spam in dev threads.
and i believe op posted in the correct section. dev threads are for bug reports afaik. unfortunately i haven't used that rom. it's not in settings>display>brightness?
Just because i don't doesn't mean i can't.

Not it is not in settings>display>brightness.Sometimes there are extra cm settings and there should be also display settings.
The ROM is really great.I used minjb which was also good but sometimes it laaged or hung.So I gave up hope for JB on my x8,also ICS were really laagy and I was just ready to go to gingerbread, but then I tried JellyBlur and it worked amazingly fast and stable.
The only bad is the ultra brightness which I used sometimes outside on sunny days.Normal high brightness is not enough
I looked for some apps, like torch and others but it seems that the raised brightness has to be implemented in source
yes. i scanned through the rom thread amd it seems the op did not implement it.
Just because i don't doesn't mean i can't.

yeas he tryed but , but he just answered how to toggle between the brightness modes.
In knew that,in fact I use the power widget in the notification drawer toggle between brightness stepps.
I think he didn't understand what I meant.
I ment the ultra or raised brightness option like in most CM ROM's which would raise brightness over 100%.Sure it would dryn battery faster but east least I would see something on the display on a sunny day. With 100% I have to hide like a vampire
This is from my theard Jelly Blur
t is a pity that the faster you did not write about it because now I have x8 and hard for me to say from memory but maybe this:
Add the widget where there are options to turn on the GPS, WI-FI not so pretty on the right side you see this icon 'light' and finger on the click, and then change the brightness for example,
-automatic,
Half brightness
-low brightness
that's it
