So I just installed CM7 on an SD card using these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1000957 and everything went fine. I Installed Words with friends, but every time I try to run it it said "The application Words Free (process com.zynga.words) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. and I have to Force Close. Anyone get it to work? any ideas?
You might try to uninstall the app and reinstall.
You need to change your LCD density to 180 or 200, as suggested here:

It worked for me!

I had cyanogen 4.1.9999 and was having fun,
I discovered that Chomp sms under "tools" settings had a "install voice data," so that it can read your sms. I wanted to see how the phone read the sms messages, so I decided to install "voice data/speech" from the Market.
Now every 5 or so seconds I get an error that says "The application Touch Input (process com.htc.android.htcime) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I think it was the installment of that application "speech" because I never got that error before.
I tried to remove it by going to tools/apps.. and market but uninstall button is disabled.
I upgraded to cyanongen 4.2.2 to try to fix the problem, but it still comes up.
How can I fix it? it is EXTREMELY ANNOYINGc

Just tried CM 5.0.5.3. All is well so far after wiping.
However, when I try to download apps from the market I'm getting market FC's preventing me from downloading. I've tried clearing the cache but nada.
To be more specific "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly.
Any ideas...
It seem you are not the first to have the issue. I take it you have Amon_Ra recovery. I tend to think the 1.7.0 is the one that people have when they see it. I don't have a answer just commenting.
Yup, exactly.
I think it may also have something to do with MyBackupPro. Once I restore apps+data, then I get the FC's.
try fix permission

That did it. Plus I had to reboot afterwards. It also solved FC's I was getting on ATK notepad and my PS3 Friends app not working correctly.
Thanks guy!

i think i found the thread to my question... will try it now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687578
i have already sorted out my problem by trying out almost all combinations to replicate the problem. just thot if anyone has the same problem, below is my solution
for me... it is nothing to do with the link abv. my conclusion is that, whenever i use "my backup pro" with root access mode, it will somehow mess up the vending.apk which crashes the mkt app. after many tries, i found that if i use my backup pro, it is a must for me not to use "grant root access" for my backup pro then everything will be fine...
There is an app that I tried to install.
Something must have got screwed. So I tried to reinstall. Now the progress bar shows blank; nothing that says downloading or installing.
When I press the Cancel download button I see
Sorry!

"The application Settings (process "application name") has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
"Force Close"
After i uninstalled Dungeon Hunter 2 and reboot.
I try opening Titanium Backup for flashing again my firmware but still have that pop up.
"The application Settings (process com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
"Force Close"
I already dismount my external sd card.

did you try a full wipe before titanium restore?
You can also try to Fix Permissions from CWM first, and see if that helps... Also, try and wipe Dalvik cache. If that doesn't work, then go for a full wipe...
