PS3 controller possible solution - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This works on the galaxy s 2 can anybody test this on the galaxy s 1.
Does the galaxy s 2 have the same BT module?
http://www.androidnz.net/2011/10/at-your-own-risk-how-to-use-ps3.html

Can, but must use cm7. It works for me at least

why cm7?
afaik any rooted rom should work

Will test later today, will update

good news guys
no need to be on cm7
I successfully connected sixaxis ps3 controller to my sgs i9000
currently i'm on JVZ SAUROM.

Working on i9000
I've been trying to figure this out for a long time now, just follow the instructions and be up and running in no time on your i9000

does this let the phone act as a controller for ps3?

cognition and wiimote app

does anyone know if the wiimote app wil work if you are running cognition? the dev says it doesnt work on the captivate but it will work on the captivate if you are running something like cyanogenmod
http://android.ccpcreations.com/wiicontroller/wc-compatibility
would be cool to pickup a wiimote and use it for game roms
According to the Dev's site, it won't run because of "Samsung's Software" which could be TouchWiz, or something more like the Bluetooth drivers or software stack. Cognition always tries to be the closest thing to stock but freeing limitations and making it faster and smoother. So I doubt he removed too much Samsung software. A more aggressive rom (like Phoenix) might work or maybe you just need a different kernel/modem combo.
i have it installed, i just dont want to buy a wii remote to try it out, ill just wait until i go over to a friends that has a wii and test it out

[Q] Wiimote and Galaxy Tab 7

Oridinaly Galaxy Tab is not compatible to Wiimote even if using apps to connect, but now I know that CM7 makes this connection works good. I'm using Gingerbread 2.3.3 custom rooted ROM (HumberOS). My GT is p1000l (brazilian) and has TV, so I can't use CM7, because I'd lose the TV function.
I know that the problem is bluetooth drivers/parameters, but I want to know what file/driver/parameter I have to change to make Wiimote works like with CM7. What files/parameters I have to port from CM7 to my ROM to make Wiimote works?

[Q] TV out and Bluetooth Controller?

I've used Sixaxis Controller on CM7/Miui and it works perfectly with my PS3 controller, but I'd love to have that with TV-out! Has anyone had any success with Wii/PS3 Bluetooth controller apps and TV-out on the same ROM?
Tv-out does not work in CM7 etc. It uses proprietary drivers and from the looks of it, Tv-out may never happen on these ROMs

I've heard reports of the Galaxy S (stock rom) working on the latest versions of the Sixaxis Controller app. You could try the version in the following post. If it works, then you can expect full support in the main app within a couple of weeks.

Ps3 Controller Help

Ok so i am strugling to find a definitive answer on my problem so ive registered to these forums as i know i will get the best of help from here.
Ok my problem is that i have an Unofficial Playstation 3 Controller And i would like to use this with my galaxy note, i have installed Sixaxis (yes i know it reccomends an official controller) and when i try to connect my controller to it nothing happens until the ligs stop flashing on my controller then sixaxis says client disconnected. i was wondering if their was any possible way of connecting my unofficial controller to my phone and was also wondering what possible difference there can be between unofficial and official controllers in terms of connectivity that causes unofficial ones to not work.
many thanks in advance

[Q] ROM with /dev/uinput support for N900A AT&T Note 3

I'm looking for a Note 3 ROM that has /dev/uinput support so I can run apps like USB/BT Joystick Center. I want to be able to use my Xbox One Controller to play games and fly drones and use the Xbox controller instead of the touch screen. There seems to be issues with stock Samsung kernals.
- Samsung: "Can't access dev/uinput". This is a known Samsung KNOX Kernal issue. You have to use a custom rom with clean kernal. Or try this fix: hxxp://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53343683&postcount=105
I've done the troubleshooting suggested in the LINK, now I'm on Option 3: Find a rom with a different kernal.
hxxps://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/pokes-android-apps/sME_vV9pPcE
Samsung has done something that has broken the /dev/uinput that is expected with other android manufacturer builds. I've tried AllianceROM, etc but since they are built off of the stock Note 3 firmware, they would have to fix this issue specifically like other roms have done in order to make this work. According to the above group post, non-at&t roms like 'Clean Rom' & FlexCat work, but unfortunately they do not have N900A revisions =/
Does anyone know of a ROM that does at least have a good possibility of working? I don't mind flashing a few, I just dont' want to blindly flash everything =/ Any help would be much appreciated.
If it helps I can use a ps4 controller no problem and a 360 controller as well. Have you tried pairing it like a normal Bluetooth device?

No. I wanted to stick with the Xbox One controller because I have those on hand so it wouldn't be an extra expense. Did the 360 controller connection need to be wired, or does it work wirelessly with no extra hardware?

360 was wired but ps4 was over Bluetooth.
So I'm guessing there isn't a solution other than changing my controller?
