You might want to have a look at eBay (or other auction sites). Compare prices and take the cheapest one.

You can get the digi & LCD assembly for about 70US$ & fitting is not that hard as splitting/assembling LCD/digi is the killer for most.
If you read up on the guides & take care & be gentle with ribbon cables ect you will be fine.
Good care & using good 3M tape ect will result in a repair as good or better than most repair shops ...

Hey there.
I got "faulty" Diamond from a shop. It has one minor issue with screen. They told me that glass broke on the screen and now the screen has two small scratches.
So, where can I buy replacement display/screen for my Diamond and is it easy to change? I asked from a local repair and they told it would cost something like 250€/300$. I tought it's a little bit high prize so I was thinking if you guys could help me out.
on ebay there are diamond screens for sale
Not a very bad price also..

Thanks alot. That is really a decent prize.
Has anyone of you guys changed HTC Diamond screen? Is it a big operation?
Never done it to a diamond.
If I look @ the service manual I hate to say: yes, you'd have to take some time, there are a lot of steps.
But it's doable, just take your time, read the service manual first to know what to expect.
Then carefully take all the steps in the manual to disassemble the device.
replace the screen, and re-assemble according to the service manual.
I wish you good luck!
BTW You could also buy an extra digitiser (touchpad) for if the touchscreen is damaged.
maybe this will help you http://cnn.cn/shop/touch-diamond-digitizer-p-2128.html
Hi be very carefull with the screen , i just changed my lcd at a HTC service center, the screen is composed by 3 parts the digitizer (touch screen), lcd display, and the front cover ( the metal that you see around the screen), all this parts are changed in one piece, you cannot change only the touch screen or the lcd because, it can be done without damaging the lcd. Dont buy from ebay only the touch screen because you wil and up breaking your phone.
Ps the screen ( front cover, touch screen, lcd display) cost me 110 euro.
Here are some pictures of my old screen.
Thank you all, for your replies. I've ordered the parts and should get those by the start of next week. I think I'll manage to do it, didn't seem to be that hard.
Thanks again.

Were you sucessful changing the digitizer?
Did you changed only the digitizer or the lcd-screen with the digitizer, because lucian777 said thats only possible to change the complete part?
Google in Ebay. I saw an offer for 45 €. Regards

Thanks for your reply.
I allready have found many cheep offers for a digitizer.
But my question is whether it's possible to change only the digitizer and not the hole part consists of digitizer and lcd screen...???
Sorry to post something that doesn't add value, but I am in need of some help.
I cracked the screen on my tilt. The screen still works fine, but the digitizer barely registers and so I need a new screen.
Should I pay the some odd $150 to send my phone in for repair, or is there a better way? I've looked through some posts where some people have repaired it themselves, but the tutorials make me think that this is not for me. I would be willing to pay someone to do it, and am hoping that someone knows a place cheaper than the $150.
Thanks
buddy go one ebay buy the screen for 40$ and isntall it urself, i did it and the phone looks brand new
How hard was it, it looked like it need to be torn apart.
yea u pretty much have to dismantle the whole thing to get to the screen, but its really easy pm me ur email i'll send u the HTC KAISER SERVICE MANUAL
Thank you.
I have the service manual. I just don't have all of the tools, or time at the moment.
You can buy a package deal on ebay that includes the tools, the screen and the digitizer.
The manual is pretty self explanatory!
Good luck!
Hi everyone,
Today I dropped my precious One it fell from about 2meters on stone ground, which surprisingly only damaged the chamfered edge a little. But still as I love this phone and really can't get over the fact that I damaged it I was wondering if I can repair it myself or get it repaired by HTC, if the costs are lower than 100 I'm willing to pay the price.
I would really like to know if this is possible,
Thanks in advance
to be frank i dont think you will be able to repair those chamfered edges. you would have to get a complete new housing. which will cost more then 100 from htc.
you might be able to sand it if youre very careful

Yeah, I just called them, they told me that they don't know what the exact repairing costs are but they will be higher than €100 for sure
I'm so sad right now as I can't afford to pay so much and I really want it to be repaired at least a little bit so it's not that visible anymore
The sanding idea seems way too risky to me, what if I scratch and damage my phone even more?
Hello everyone, got a sony z1 from a mate for free but there's a liltle crack on the digitizer, has anyone bought one from ebay so far ? post your review and if you have any links it is appreciated Have a nice day
There is a plenty of Digitizers on eBay and most of them are not Genuine, I also don't think so many people replaced they screens to let you know which you have to buy. Just check and ask the seller if you see a good deal.
BTW, do you know that you have to have a good skills to replace it?
I bought mine from www.witrigs.Com Find a couple different YouTube guides and take your time. It really isn't that hard of a repair but you will need the heat gun. Make sure you also order all the seals for putting the device back together.

Do you want to DIY repair?
It is very hard to only replace the digitizer part, even for the guy who has professional skill.
The digitizer and screen are glued together tighlty. So I think you have to replace the screen with digitizer part.
BTW, witrigs.com is a good website. You can find original part and repair guide. Good Luck.
Hi, today i found out that i can't work with my phone in the pouch, i've broken the glass simply by picking something that fell on the ground. Now i need replacement, some suggested me to buy the LCD with the frame, others say that a s*itty frame could give me issues with gps and antennas in general. I don't want to wait one month for a replacement screen only to find out that the quality is rubbish, so i ask you: what and where is the best replacement part i can buy? Thanks in advance

All the replacements you buy will be the same sh*t quality, the only difference is gonna be the price. The best solution is to take to the Authorize MI service centre, but that will cost a lot and it will probably take a month. Or, maybe finding a damaged/used Mi Max which has a and not damaged screen.
just wait for max3

Eh, I bought this replacement screen on Amazon for $36 CAD. It came in about a month, and works just fine. It *is* a bit dimmer than the stock display, so I have to use a brighter setting when outdoors, but otherwise, no issues. It even comes with the tools / 3M Tape / Etc for the repair (though I didn't opt to DIY, I paid a local shop $50 to do it for me with my provided materials).
