can't enter bootloader or HARD RESET my diamond2
phone is asking for password, which i don't know
I know that HR would sort it but I can't do it by buttons combination
It won't enter bootlader either
volume buttons are working fine
please help

to get my XDA IIi into the bootloader, I keep trying the reccord button, power, and hard reset but it just does a hard reset and comes up with the O2 splash and then loads windows???
am I doing something wrong here?

To get to bootloader, you need to press and hold the power button, the action button (the d-pad) and the reset button for about 2 seconds until serial is displayed clearly on the screen.

I know I am supposed to press volume down and dow a soft-reset but this only boots my phone as normal soft reset. I do not see the tri-band boot screen that people are talking about. I have a Swedish phone ...

Press Volume Down and KEEP it pressed until you get the bootloader screen. So...do not release the volume down after you've pressed the reset buton

My diamond freezes on the startupscreen where you see in the lower left conrner the R, G and D versions in RED.
Can this be fixed?
Yeah I am rite now having the same problem anyone has any suggestions the soft-reset button doesn't work and it is not recognizing my network provider... anyone has any suggestions....

Yea since the soft reset button doesn't work I am not sure wht to do it is just stuck up on the startup screen can anyone give any suggestions please.....
if i only could acces the internal storage, put a rom on it, and do a flash with hard reset buttons, then it could be back 2 live but now
Can you get it into bootloader? {Hold Vol. down button while pressing power}
If it will go into bootloader, you can flash from there.
It worked
1. i've put it in bootloader [Hold Vol. down button while pressing power]
2. connected the diamond to my pc with USB-cable
3. Install the original rom

I was trying to flash my diamond with mtty, where i guess i messed up with commands, I formatted it, then tried to restart with "task 8" then my phone turned off and never on again no matter what i did or key pushed.

Update ROM by using the BootLoader
Hello there,
even though you can't boot into your OS in the Diamond, there's a way to enter "BootLoader" mode. I'm not sure it works, but you can give it a try.
Here's how:
- Connect the Diamond to your PC
- Enter bootloader mode on your Diamond: with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then press the reset button with the stylus tip, then release the volume down and power buttons when bootloader tricolour screen appears.
- Use the ROM Update Utility. If the previous step worked and your connection is working, then with some luck you will be able to Flash the Device with the ROM update utility.
I've tried to find the thread that discussed this with pictures and such but couldn't. You might want to look for similar instructions

hello,, I hope someone can help me with this becouse Im new:
Im trying to install android on my t5388i chineese(diamond 2) dual sim,,that has only wm6.5, I tried putting different versions of android,,but I couldnt ,, and I think the problem is my hspl because I´ve not update it,, and when I want to check my hspl version in my phone,, I cant enter in bootloader mode to see it,, I´ve tried to enter in bootloader mode with all kind of buttons combinations but I couldnt, then Im afraid to update the hspl without known my actual version of hspl and loose my phone.
In many post say that the combination to enter in bootlader mode is vol- and soft reset,, but even with this nothing happens, my phone boot like normally, Im so tired because I dont have any result.
Please help me to enter bootloader mode on my version of phone t5388i chineese(diamond 2)dual sim... or what can I to do to update my spl without loose my phone ???

maybe this way can successfully get into bootloader mode :
- Turn off the phone.
- While pressing the VOLUME DOWN button, power the phone back.
- Continue to hold the VOLUME DOWN button until the display 3 color - appears. At that point, release the button
