Just bought a mini hdmi cable. Plugged it into the phone and hd tv, nothing.
Anyone know how to get this working?

FIXED: Rebooted phone, working now. Thanks
And you are on stock right? Not gingervolt?
I've got a wire at the house, I will check it out when I get home.

Rebooted and works now. Thanks
I bought the wire on a whim, but it has made this phone for me. Unlimited 4g, downloading and watching films etc on my TV. Fantastic

Do you know if it outputs DTS/multichannel just like standard HDMI?
You Having HDMI Issues with Rooted ZV8?
I connected my HDMI cable for the first time since upgrading/rooting ZV8 and I couldn't get the screen to mirror. This is something I've used/done quite a bit before the update and I never had an issue at home or in hotels while traveling. Now for some reason the screen doesn't seem to want to mirror.
After fooling around with it for a while, I'm starting to think the problem it could be tied to the G sensor position - when connected, I'll re-position the phone and when close to landscape/vertical the screen will mirro of a few seconds and then quit. Could someone with rooted ZV8 give this a try and let me know if they're having problems?
Here's what I've done/observed:
I've rebooted and re-tried
I've checked all the right boxes under settings - connectivity
I've toggled screen resolution - 480/720/Auto
The status bar properly reports when the cable is connected and indicates the screen is mirroring (but it's not)
Most times the sound will mirror and occassionally occassionally the screen will do so but only for a few seconds.
Tried this with HBOGo, Netflix, and just swiping across home screens
Sometimes the screen mirrors nothing and sometimes a blue screen.
I had to plug/unplug several times before mirroring would start. I haven't tried since flashing to broken out 1.1 though. I think you may have a faulty cord or phone.

Anyone having blue tooth issues? Today for the first time COM.ANDROID.Bluetooth keeps crashing and locking up.. I cant play any music through bluetooth, and when bluetooth is enabled it will only pick up my headphones when I turn on the headphones after I enable bluetooth. Also when I power off my headphones, bluetooth doesnt see that I did that and still shows the device connected.
When I manually turn off bluetooth, thats when it crashes...
anyone else having issues? Rom is still stock obviously, but I have rooted and added CWM Recovery, but none of that should effect bluetooth. Ive also made sure com.android.bluetooth is added to the Advanced Task Killer's ignore list with no effect...
Jason
Just tried it. I don't seem to have any issues turning on/off BT nor connecting a headset.

Have you rooted and frozen apps? I had all kinds of bt issues when I froze all the stock apps. Defrosted them and it worked. I haven't gone through and frozen them one at a time yet to find the culprit.

Well I'm running cm9 0.5 and I got six axis to work and it connects yet none of the controls work and I got profiles from the right place the only buttons that work are the anolog and the up and down left and right buttons anyway to fix this?
Anyone Know???/
I had the same problem would love to know.

Assuming you're talking about touch profiles, the first thing to check is whether any touches are being sent by the app. The best way to do this is to download 'Touch Test' or similar from the market, connect the controller and activate the touch profile, then run 'Touch Test' and press some buttons on the controller. If any output shows up, it's likely that the profile you're using has been configured for a different control scheme or a device with a different resolution. If no output shows up let me know and I'll see if I can come up with some more possibilities!

Just came in from work I'm going to give this a shot in a few minutes. Will post the results. Thanks for the help.

Hey, i got an even worse problem.. once i use any button on my sixaxis whilst using the active touch profile my phone stops recognizing any touch input and i have to reboot it in order to use it..
currently running cm9 on sgs2
Tried out the touch test and its working. Thanks a lot bro!

i got some news to add:
i enabled the touch indicator of the android system and whenever i touched a button or moved a stick, the sixaxis app seamed to permanently simulate a touch on the screen. that must be the reason for the touchscreen freeze. on the newest cm9 (02012012) i managed to unfreeze it by multitouching around that permanent dot.
if anyone has a solution, plz let me know.
though its not that bad for me since i just wanted to test the active touch profile, bc im getting my transformer prime soon (and afaik there are no issues with sixaxis) i think this occurs on many ppl using cm9 on sgs2, asking for help!
Anyone with gv2.0 having bluetooth trouble ?
Sent from my VS910 4G using XDA App
I haven't been having any bluetooth issues, I can't seem to use the voice recorder when placing a call though, it always force crashes.
What's the issue though, will it not connect to your device? Force crashing or something else?
I have a bluetooth cd player in my car , it used to work fine with my phone. I flashed gv2.0 and now when I turn bluetooth on it force closes every time

There is another thread in the general forums with a link to a fix for the Bluetooth issues. If I can find it I will link to it here.

I havnt had any issues with ginger volt
Since I flashed GV 2.0 I've been having some weird random reboots, most seem to be tied somehow to the vibrate on a message or an alarm. I have few apps on my phone right now after wiping it so something in 2.0 is causing some reboots for me. Also the voice recorder on the phone call screen force crashes so I can't use it either.
Other than that it's a great OS, far smoother than 1.3 was for me, loving it other than the weird stuff going on. My battery life on my big battery is awesome now too, getting more than a full day (and night) with a lot of phone use and internet use so I'm very much enjoying that as well!

LG has some issues with the vibrate function. You can read through the kernel source to see how much they have messed with it to try to fix it. It is actually quite crazy what all they have done. Disable vibrate I except on silent and it should reduce the reboots.

I always get a BT force close when connectiong to my car BT now with GV2.0 that I didn't get with v1.3. The actual force close is related to Pandora's BT service, but after uninstalling Pandora, I still get the same FC. I have to disable BT and restart it. The same FC comes back, but as soon as I close it, the audio works...strange.

Hi
I've been getting random vibrations from G watch R when it's sitting charging on the crade. Has anyone else come across this or know how to stop it.

My G Watch R didn't behave like this. Sure it vibrates when receiving notifications and when it is correctly connected to the crade.
Maybe your contacts are covered by something?
Found out from another source that LG Watch doesn't like charging from a USB Hub when hub is being used by another device.
At the the moment I am using a charging dock with my Sony Z Ultra and using the USB pass thru on that to power the watch dock.
I will try pluging the watch charging dock directly into the mains charger tonight and report the results tomorrow.

good to know!
Tried plugging it directly into mains charger. Never heard any vibrations all night. Looks like using a USB hub is going to be a no no.

This is by design and indicates when the watch connects/disconnects to/from the phone. When it connects to the phone, it vibrates once; when it disconnects, it vibrates twice.
If you reboot your phone, the watch will vibrate twice when the phone's Bluetooth turns off and once when it turns back on. Or when you leave the watch on the cradle and walk away from it with your phone far enough to lose the Bluetooth connection, it will vibrate twice to let you know it disconnected from the phone. When you get back within range, it will vibrate once to let you know it reconnected to the phone.

You posted this reply on another subject. I am pointing out that apart from disconnecting, loosing signal etc ( these are not random but as you point out these are by design) that there is another reason for random vibrations. Doing as I stated above cured it for me and several others on another forum.

Just scratch the metal contacts on the back of the watch with a pencil and issue resolved. The graphite of the pencil will help a lot.
