Two scammers in one day

So I'm attempting to buy an iPad to use it to show clients photos, instead of printing portfolios. So I turn to good ol' craigslist. Got 2 scam replies. I see they are getting more clever. lol.

Hey, sorry for the delayed response, but someone already bought the iPad and
picked it up. You might want to try and buy one where I bought mine at. It's
an auction site kind of like ebay that has quite a few iPads.
I am usually able to pick them up there between $130 and $160, I think it's so
cheap because the site is newer and there aren't many bidders yet. Anyways,
I'd recommend you shop there if your still in need of an iPad. The site is
called BIDSAROO.com. I just checked and it looks like they have one
ending soon and the bid is at $53 so far.
When I signed up they gave me this coupon to give to friends, but I haven't used
it yet. Your more than welcome to use it, but I think it expires tomorrow. It's
good for placing some free bids on any auction. The coupon is: free3042

P.S. Here is a little secret I'll pass on to you. Right now there is a glitch/hack
on the site that will allow you to block other people from bidding on the item.
When you place a bid, hold down the enter key until the auction counts down to 0.
This should allow you to win any auction instantly. But I'm not sure how long it
last, I'm sure the site is working on fixing the glitch/hack.

The ipad is still available and I hope you are still interested. The ipad was bought brand new from Apple a few weeks ago.

They're just hoping you'll skim over that since it doesn't really make any sense, not until you get the first part anyway...
Deception is fraud, so even though it doesn't say you're actually buying an iPad what they're doing is against the law.

gotta disagree on that, many user on xda for example put USD and EURO even tho they are in the UK. i do that on Ebay also.

Not being able to do it in person is generally a red flag for me that it's a scam. I couldn't care less if the message comes from the Queen of England.

i love browsing craigslist go to craigslist.org , its pretty much a giant classifieds site with jobs, for sale you name it.

its like ebay , with the difference theres about 2000% more scams ... but on the other hand its the only place where u can get hardware for sexual favors

I've never used it, did go on it, and didn't find it easy to use. Just use eBay at least what you pay for you get so better for you

craigslist is ok for local selling/purchasing of junk. The problem is that everyone wants to lowball your already low low price.
Example: I had a guitar that is worth $800.00 I put it up on CL for $400.00 and people were still trying to either trade it for firewood (i.e. junk guitars) or try and get it for $350.00.
But another good example is I had an Apple 3g - and I was able to sell it for $200.00 no issues. So essentially I had it for free for the 2yrs I owned it.
... so as long as your dealing local and your a hardass - its not bad for selling stuff. Just don't try and purchase out of your area.
And stay away from the personals (which I think they closed anyways) Thats where all the Chester's are hiding with their candies and ice cream.

craigslist is the place where you transact and get killed.

Its the greates place on earth for a high schooler to find used cars.

It's pretty much the best thing ever. I buy/sell all of my phones on CL. Just sold my 6 month old Evo for $300 cash, then turned around and bought a Nexus S for $400. Ironically, I later found out the guy I bought the NS from is a fellow XDA-er.

Meaning I got screwed or the guy who bought it did? Between you and me, I'm pretty sure I took him for a ride, it was probably only worth $200-250. I used it for a solid 6 months and it had a couple bumps and bruises.

Maybe, seems like the ones above $300 are either new or very new (within a month), I got mine the first day they went on sale. I'm happy with the 3 i got, maybe I could've gotten $350, but what's another $50.

Best buy online now black Friday $159

Title pretty much says it all. If anyone wants a spare or backup they're just $159 online at Best Buy.

I got mine ordered and confirmed! First Black Friday deal I've ever managed to get in my life. LOL
I sold my Transformer and was considering getting the Prime, but then I realized what I really need is something like a Samsung Series 7 Slate (actual slate w/digitizer, full OS, etc) and I figure the Dell will make a nice and inexpensive plaything... Shame the battery only lasts 5-6 hours.
Looking forward to it though!

Help me lol Hard decision

Hey I'm kind of considering trading my gs2 skyrocket for a nokia n9 64 gb either in black or blue.
I know I'm forsaking LTE and android, but honestly the n9 does everything I need it to do in a simpler and more battery efficient manner, as well as having a superior design and more compact size. Also lack of apps isn't a big deal to me I don't game on my phone beyond the occasional angry birds.
So anyone in the Los Angeles/Glendale area wanna do this trade?
Some of your thoughts on this would be nice.
I could also sell my gs2 skyrocket to some in the aforementioned area for like 500$ ish I guess with my accessories then buy the n9 off like amazon or something, ebay maybe.

500 is a good price you are getting, they sell for 350-400 on xda marketplace..

Craigslist! I have a case, car dock, and extra back cover. I thought it was a decent deal for us both.

I only have the phone, charger and box.

Looks like I will probably go with the Optimus G, same phone with LTE. I can always run custom roms to get a near stock experience.

I think that'd be a super quick sale, but I feel it's a little low. I'd AT LEAST bump to 375$.

I still would prefer a 32GB version, but I can life with 16GB.
