Hello,
I manually root my Spice Mi-410 using the steps given at indude.com/root-any-android-phone. After using the device for 10 days, the screen stopped replying my touches. Now I'm readying it for service centre to get it repaired or replaced.
I restored it to factory default settings using the official nb0 file using SUT L3 because i forgot to backup the stock recovery.img and replaced it with cwm one. Could anyone tell me what exactly the nb0 replaces/restore? Please share you stock recovery.img too.
The problem is, the recovery.img which came with the official nb0 is no longer working. When i try to enter the recovery menu using vol up + down + power keys, I get a exclamation screen like dl.dropbox.com/u/14319084/error.jpg
WTH!! I just needed to press the 'Home' key after the exclamation screen.

Last night i i wet my phone and since then the home button seems to be stuck or fryed or idk. it only boots into recovery and when i try to use the home button (ex. try to power off via recovery and press home to confirm, flash a rom press homee to confirm), it doesnt do anything. so now im stuck in recovery trying to figure out what i can do? any ideas? is there anything i can do in adb to get it to boot properly?
OK, that should work: You need a fastboot enabled spl (death/hard/eng) for that, and a kernel boot.img, ideally the one from the rom you are using (it is inside the zip archieve, just extract it).
Boot -> Recovery (automatically...)
adb shell reboot bootloader
fastboot boot boot.img
Well, your homebutton will still be screwed, but at least it should boot if the system is still ok.
Well I went into adb and started punching in commands. Reboot android did the trick. I think I may do as u say tho just in case my phone dies for some reason. Appreciate it
Well I still have the home button problem but now I'm stuck again.....I want to flash the new cy rc3 but don't know how to do it. I can't press home to confirm the wipes and the flashing....I think saw a post somewhere a while back about flashing through adb but can't find it no more. Anybody have any ideas or know how?

Sorry if this question is a disturbance. I tried to search for the solution for my problem about a week, but nothing comes up.
I'm a Nexus One new user. My problem is that I can't access recovery mode. I have rooted and installed flash recovery image to my phone. But when I access recovery mode from bootloader menu (surely pressing volume down + power), the logo X appears on the screen for few seconds, then, the screen goes blank. No recovery menu appears. I must press Home + Power to choose reboot or power down to start my phone again. I tried amon-ra v.1..7.0 to v. 1.9 and clockworkmod v.2.5.0.7, but my phone screen still goes blank. Now I'm in despair and don't know what to do. I want to change my rom, but I can't if my phone can't access recovery mode.
Anybody help me please.
I had the same problem after allowing Clockwork to access ROM in its submenu.
I used the following instructions to flashboot the recovery-RA-nexus-v.1.9.0-alpha.img
back into the N1 (blue care bear one).

You need to download the SDK too to do this, but I'm guessing you already have that
Try Clockwork 2.5.11. It's been updated to support SLCD Nexus Ones. You can flash it straight from ROM Manager.

Thank you both of you. I have tried following the second post and it works!
Hi,
I've an i9300 - it had the freezing problems which I seemed to fix with the dummy file generator. Then it froze again - I got a SYSTEM RESET message and then couldn't get the phone to recognize the sim.
I tried system reset and clear the cache and still the same problem. I tried to update the software and Keis wouldn't recognize the phone.
Tried to update with odin and it froze.
Now I can't get it to do anything other than go into download mode. It won't accept a firmware via odin (get a FAIL)
I have an EFS back up and a clockworkmod back up but I don't know how to restore them as I can't get the phone to power up. All it says is Firmware upgrade encountered an issue etc...
Any pointers would help
Boot in to ClockWorkMod by holding on Volume Up + Home buttons, then press Power button.
Look for Back/Restore option in the ClockWorkMod menu to restore to earlier copy of ClockWorkMod backup.
After that, reboot your I9305 phone and you should be able back to earlier working condition.

Hello,
After rooting my p880, my phone hangs at boot. Just after the boot sound (*pling* ) the phone is hanging. The boot image is still moving.
Things I tried already:
I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723, which tells to do a kdz update. This is not working, as I am not able to get to the S/W upgrade screen. Instead, when I start the phone using the power button + volume down, i get the Android system recovery menu (3e).
I tried to upload a new (cyanogenmod) rom using adb sideload, but that didn't work, as the file I used was damaged (I will retry with new file).
I also did a factory reset and a cache wipe.
Can someone tell me what is best to do?
Kind regards

you're entering s/w mode wrong. dont press power button. just hold vol down and plug in usb
OOOhhhh noooosss....... That's kind of stupid .
Thanks!
So my perfectly working Xperia Z, running Resurrection Remix ROM was given for a repair yesterday. The SIM card slot was broken so I got it replace from a third party repair shop.
But after finishing with that, the phone went into a bootloop. Everything was working fine before but now it just doesn't boot. So I thought of flashing stock FTF using flashtool. But even here I am unable to boot into flash mode (Power + vol down button). :crying:
I can go in recovery, I can go in fastboot mode, but not in flash mode.
I even restored a twrp backup but even then it stayed stuck in bootloop.
Can anyone please help me? Why is it happening?
What I thought was right, volume button was broken. Had to replace the flex cable. I request the mod to delete this thread.
