[Q] What games aren't on the market?

HI,
i cant find the fifa 10 app in the market? (the fifa 10 game) has any one found it? or is this a known bug in the stock rom

I can see it, but I added the Eris Market Fix to enable all apps. Try that if you didn't before.

Caligo Chaser not on market?
Hey guys,
I've bought this game a week ago and now that i flashed JM7 and voodoo lagfix I can't find it anymore. I've "unknown sources" ticked and i even tried eris market fix without result...
Any ideas?

Im on the same FW and Voodoo Fix, i can see Caligo,
Rerun Eris, reboot and let your phone startup normaly, then shutdown, then boot to recovery mode and click "wipe/clean cache"
Then give it about 10 mins for the paid apps including your Caligo to appear..

What games aren't on the market.
I was just wondering what high end games or apps might be out there that aren't on the market. I just found out about gameloft are there others? Also has the unreal engine 3 made its way to android yet I was looking around and found only older articles saying it might be. The technology demo for it on the I phone look amazing.

From experience, the games from Gameloft aren't on the market. You have to buy them directly from their website. These games include N.O.V.A. HD, UNO HD, Avatar HD, etc etc. There are around 10 or so "HD" games that all have pretty good graphics. I'm not too sure how they are gameplay-wise but I've heard a lot about N.O.V.A... Check out videos on Youtube for this and other Gameloft games.
If you aren't from one of the countries that the full Android market is available in, then you won't be seeing ALOT and you won't be seeing the paid games if that's what you've been searching for. There's a sim emulator app floating around somewhere that would bypass that and as long as you have a valid credit card then you'd be able to buy games and stuff from the market and from gameloft.
Dunno about any really great free games that aren't on the market though..

Thanks for the reply. I'm in Canada so I get paid apps but like you said gameloft games arent on the market and if you didn't read form like xda or use apps like buzz you would never know they exist. So I'm wondering if there are other companys out there the have games that aren't on the market free or paid.

I found Gameloft games through Youtube actually. So far, that's pretty much all I know that isn't in the Android market. It's taking some time for the big developers out there to roll out Android versions of their games but I know of a lot that are working towards that. Expect though that as soon as they do have something, they'd release it via the Android market since that's the main form of distribution for those things anyway. I have no idea why Gameloft chose to ignore the Android market way of distributing games. I guess they want to handle piracy issues their way.
The Android market isn't as strict as the App Store of Apple. That's why there are a lot of other sources of iOS apps out there that provide apps and games not in or not yet in the App store (since they weren't approved or are taking a while to be approved).

You dont need to pay all the gameloft game..just search at 4shared.com 4 example nova.apk.. But i've a problem to install the other game data to memory card because after preinstallation at hp it required install the game data to memory card..anyone can help me please..

Plants vs Zombies 1.0 (PopCap official version)

PvZ (official, from PopCap) was released today on Amazon (free download on launch day) and it will remain an exclusive for 2 weeks. After that, will be sold on Android Market.
Anyone tried it already on HD2? I've read somewhere that to work well, it needs at least 200 MB free of RAM.
So, what custom ROM do you have and does it work well? Share your experience.
EDIT: all ok on my Imika 's Incredible Sense v1.1.
EDIT2: on sound settings, though sfx and music were at the same level, I don't know why but music was off. If you don't hear any music, just move around the cursor on that setting to turn it on.

Works well....no probs.....sound working ok....no FC......Amazing game...I like it better than the PC version..

I am using T-Mobile (US 1024) version of HD2 with the [CWR] BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA_GINGER 2.3.4-Sense.s V28 (08.Jun) Rom installed.
Plants vs. Zombies seems to so far to be working perfect! I am very impressed with the speed, graphics, and quality of the game! it plays just like the PC version except it's touch screen so you can click on things faster
overall I give it 5 Stars! Amazing Game, with NO bugs NO crash.

Order and Chaos

I just wanted to let you all know that order and chaos hd is available thru gamelofts mobile site. Of course you have to tell the system your using the lg g2x optimus star dop. I bought it last night. If youre in the games club its $2.99 otherwise its $4.99. I downloaded it on my streak last night. It has a right at 700 meg download so you might wanna be on wifi. I played last night and it downloaded all my created characters and money and game progress. So if you play on another device you dont havta start all over. It ran pretty good with a few graphical hiccups every now and then. But other than that, it was just the same as my other devices I play on. Feel free to add me on gameloft live, daniel3334. No mods at all. My streak is stock 2.2.2 of course it is rooted.but when you go to gamelofts mobile site it will say no games for your device. Look at bottom of the screen and it will say your device Dell Streak 7. Click on that. Then it will take you to a screen with all device manufacturers list. You wanna click LG, next screen scroll way down until you see LG OPTIMUS G2X P990 STAR DOP. When you click that link it then should take you to that phones list of games. Like I said at start, I dont use any mods. I use the games stock virtual joysticks. Every game on the list for the LG P990 OPTIMUS G2X STAR DOP from Gameloft I have purchased,except for shrek. And they all work for me using stock virtual joysticks from the game. The touch controls and virtual joysticks are great on this game, and many more from Gameloft! Just make sure you are clicking on the phone name I gave you. If you click on wrong phone model, then the game may not work period!! Also ive found thru playing that these games work best on wifi. When I didnt use wifi, the games acted crazy. If you have any more questions or need help feel free to leave a post or pm here on XDA. My ds7 is running the 3.2. I played OaC on it with no issues before updating the game to 1.0.4. it just force closes after I launch it. Anyone know a fix?

Well i had order and chaos working on my dell streak 7 rooted and has the hack honeycomb runing on it, but gameloft did a up date monday for the game, now my cracked copy of the game doesnt work very upseting, it load and the says to download update, i do and update and it crashes :-(

How did you fare after the update last night?
I have purchased the game using the instructions above. I updated the game via the direct download provided via the apk directing me to the GL website, the game downloaded and installed correctly.
Now getting network errors when attempting to download the updated content, tried rebooting, rinsing, repeating, reinstalling several times..... keeps failing any hints anywhere??

Bought the game through the marketplace how. Can I get this to my streak with out re purchasing it I'm not paying for it again any ideas sent them a email waiting to hear back

Will that copy work on my moto x2 running eclipse?

Hello, I created an account so I could post in this thread as I really want to play the game. I have a Dell Streak 7 Android v3.2 and was wondering how I can buy this game and if it will work with my version? It isn't in the Play Store and I do see it on the Gameloft site. What is the exact procedure as of today, May 11th 2012, that I need to following to buy and subscribe to this game?

Ok I followed your instructions and told the Gameloft site that I was an LG P990 Optimus 2x (Star Dop) and it allowed me to download and install the first part. When I go to run it I get the Gameloft splash screen then the Order and Chaos HD screen where it wants to download the game but it gives me a "A problem occured and the download could not be completed successfully. Do you want to restart the download? An unstable network may cause problems when downloading." I am given a YES and NO option and I keep hitting yes and it attempts something for a split second then keeps coming up with the same error.
What can I do to fix this? I am running 3.2 Honeycomb on my Dell Streak 7.

I really want to play this game and will do whatever I need to to get it to work on my Dell Streak 7. I have never rooted my Streak or used a alternate ROM but I will if it means I can play this game.
Please tell me what I need to do to be able to play this game on my Dell Streak 7.

my driod tells me its stopped running when its checking my license, and force closes..:good::good: i paid for the game, i tried contacting gameloft but i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem
just wanted to update my post,, just recently updated roms to sabsa prime 5.0 thinking about changing the scripts to unlimited boost. running great thanks to the people who spent time replying to my posts

Dead Space - Possible to run on P970?

Ever since I got my rooted v20n working, I've been trying to get Dead Space to run.
I've tried using Chainfire3D with each of the 3 drives but I wasn't successful...
The best I've gotten was to the EA loading screen, and then the app crashes!
Any tips or suggestions that might work? Maybe overclocking the device or using an app to fix an issue? (because I have no idea why the game crashes)

Possible solution
Try a different game version or cracked by another developer.I encountered same issue with Galaxy S until I found a version that worked.Hope it helps

The only version that worked for me was 1.98.6. Try finding this. Sorry for the very late post. Thid version workef on stock, zeus and cm nightlies for me.

I got mine working without Chainfire3d. I was on Zeus3b when it worked.

the newer versions of deadspace do not require chainfire as EA added powervr support

Hi, for it works well, but it needs internet for working. If not it will crash at EA screeen.

it worked for me without chainfire on deodexed v20n ...i cant remember the version though.. and internet is needed to start the game...

Dead Space is compatible with LG Optimus Black, it works flawlessly, I bought it at 30c, a bargain for the game... when Play launched! I also bought NFS Hot Pursuit, Modern Combat 3, ShadowGun and a bunch of other games, you don't need cracked games at these prices... And I don't think XDA is the place to talk about that!

I'm using Zeus 6.22n and Dead Space would not work until I tried the Samsung apps version. That version works fine for me, not sure the difference.

First try downloading black market alpha and using that download dead space then it will work for sure

Asphalt 6 problem with ics

Hey guys after Ics update I noticed asphalt 6 is not working fine on ma phone...
So I tried to search it's new version... I had 1.0.3 downloaded from Samsung apps at free so it was impossible to upgrade it to new version Cox it's not there... And market will also not give option of it...
So I downloaded 1.3.3 cracked from torrent... And when I installed it... It's again asking me to download data I don't wanna download it again Cox I already have... plz tell how to make it work ? What should I do ?

Did you try to transfer it to the external sdcard? It solves the problem sometimes.

Same problem with Asphalt 6 and ICS on G Note
I have the same problem with Asphalt after update to official ICS on Galaxy Note. Game works ok then freezes after playing for about a minute. It also freezes intermittently on a black screen when i press the back button. I also have the version form the Samsung Apps store.

Well, I had faced in many Gameloft Games.
Later I found that Gameloft Games found over net (Torrents & Other Sharing Sites) mostly are not greatly compatible with Galaxy Note. They might turn up showing full screen but most users get stuck at downloading.
Whats the solution?

Another Solution: If you are going for paid games, then go to gameloft store & set compatibility to N7000 and then it will show you the exact version which you should buy. That will be sure shot working for the bucks you paid Besides they have Customer Care Online support if you shell your money for their apps
Before installing, remove all the data for the prior game you had downloaded. Then only it will work else a refund message shall come.

The game runs fine however i keep getting freezes on my phone every few hours with the touch screen locking up and not accepting input culminating in Android reporting that "the process order and chaos has stopped working" at which point the phone sort of warm reboots and my home screen and app draw is redrawn.

Yep, ruined by the upgrade. Did anyone get the message about trying to check for a newer version, but no connection?

1.0.3 version is for NOTE and free from Samsung Apps it works flawlessly on gingerbread but on ICS it stops after few minutes
1.3.3 works on ICS but you have to re download data as its data is different and 1.0.3 data wont work for 1.3.3
having said that 1.3.3 works on NOTE ICS but its graphics are poor / you can check by playing both versions side by side on ICS
you will see 1.0.3 has better graphics, its more clear even on start up screen where you see ASPHALT logo ..press screen to continue ...it is crisp and in HD quality
but on 1.3.3 its not clear
so right now the only thing is get back to GB and enjoy your asphalt 6 until we get an update
plus you can also play Real Racing 2 on GB and that too dont work on ICS
happy playing

samsung apps removed this game already. No longer available...

Try just download the data, or if you have it, copy to the sdcard /Android/data or /obb on sdcard and on phone memory.
