Hi ppl, I bricked and received my new Mini, so I'm happy.
Now, I'm asking for multi ROM support, it is possible on our Mini?
Example:
I want CM7 to play games and CM9 for normal use.
It's called "Multiboot" (like Windows + Linux on PC) and I don't know any Developer who had done this for Mini.

How did you brick your phone ?
And I have wondered about this question myself but I don't think it is possible to have Multiboot.

I have a friend running Android 2.3.7 with a HTC Desire and he was running ubuntu on top of this with a lovely interface. Basically a dual boot with both running at same time. Ubuntu only uses 24mb ram apparently too. Any testers on this??? Thanks. Fraser

Won't work for now.... Since if i'm not mistaking the Galaxy Mini doesn't support the loop stuff in the kernel... Actually it's better to ask squadzone . But probably we will need another kernel.
It will work ..bit with give style cm7 or andro-id...I once installed it on my mini but it was slow and I uninstalled it..but it works

Yeah i will ask squaddy. I was aware of the fact that it needs kernel loop thing. Apparently my rom and kernel supports it anyway and it is supported on mini with correct kernel

Hello all.
I want to use the android kitchen but some posts in xda and external websites say it is recommended only for htc devices and some other like galaxy s2.
So is it safe to use android kitchen and develop roms for our rom too ?
I need urgent inputs because I have everything ready to cook a new rom for our mini.

As i understand Cm9 and even cm10 are considered a Work in Progress, i have tried several CM7.1 roms and these are better for the ACE at this particular time IMO.
Right now i'm on apocalypse but something is draining my battery and i can't find what it is.. i just might change to the myth2 rom in a couple of days more if i can't find a solution.

Hey guys so I used to be using an x8 and now I have a Samsung galaxy mini 2 so I was wondering can I like use the apps here like flash player?
And can I flash roms here on my phone I really liked GDX?
Sent from my GT-S6500 using xda app-developers app
Yes, u can use any app. But if u make roms and include apps, u should give credits to them. Nope, u cant flash roms for ur device that have made for x8
Sent from a god in Heavens
No every app. For example: you can't use flash player because it is modified for old armv6 devices when mini 2 is armv7.
