As i understand Cm9 and even cm10 are considered a Work in Progress, i have tried several CM7.1 roms and these are better for the ACE at this particular time IMO.
Right now i'm on apocalypse but something is draining my battery and i can't find what it is.. i just might change to the myth2 rom in a couple of days more if i can't find a solution.

The best thing to do is go to CM10 custom rom and read the last 100 post in the thread and learn what they are doing when they install the CM10. That is what i do when i install a custom rom, i learn from there mistake.

I tried CM9, AOKP, and now CM10, and even if they fix the camera (which isn't really working right now.. except for ICS which can take pictures), it just doesn't feel fast like gingerbread. And also, the damn thing is starving for free RAM memory after a couple of hours of boot up time, and then things start to get ugly
The best suggestion is to give it a shot. I did, and it just doesn't cut it for me.
CM9 FOREVER!!!most bugs are resolved..its much faster..try one of these http://techgeekal.wordpress.com/2012/07/21/ics-roms-for-galaxy-minipop-gt-s5570/

Wrong thread.
MODs please delete.
I own Samsung Galaxy Mini device with Android 2.3.6 version, already rooted, but I'd like to upgrade it to ICS by a stable CyanogenMod release. I could not find the right, most stable download for my Samsung Galaxy Mini device, can you redirect me to the right one and specify any bugs that I may experience and whether there's something that doesn't work (Camera, Wifi, or ...) with links to any fixes I can install to jump those issues there.

go there and you can choose one of them. i prefer the cm7 because it didn't have any noticeable bug, it fast, and it battery friendly.

So what are the issues in Cm9 and Cm10 releases. How I can get back to Stock rom, is that by an Nandroid backup or so and how do I make it then use it to revert back ?
Sorry if I'm asking too much questions but I just want to respond to all the general questions in a single thread that will become an online resource for the newbies who may have the same doubts about it .

You'll have to give more info. How did you flash cm10? And from which source? It sounds like you still have a cm9 based kernel trying to boot cm10 rom which won't work, you need a cm10 kernel for cm10 rom.

Hello forum users
can anyone share a recent lag fix for my i9000 please?
i rooted my device and i have got Busybox 1.17.1
kindly regards,
stepan12
Hey,
First update your busybox, and if you doesn't matter, I would recommend you to change to a custom Rom. I'm from the i9001 but I'm sure that in the development forum of the s1 are a lot of tweaks for GB. If not look into the i9001 forum

i dont want a custom rom i just want a lag fix..
For my experience, stock ROM sucks and always lag. Ever since I updated mine to Supernexus 2.0 M1 ROM, my phone is just as stable as Nexus 4.
No joke. Do it to believe. If you don't wanna do, then hard reset your phone and format the entire drive. Should be pack with a lot temp files and caches.

which rom has a lag fix? and if i install is my device the same? i mean the theme etc etc..?
You don't need to install a custom rom. Speedmod kernel should be what you're looking for.
