there is writen SETOOL2, not SEMC. i cant unlock bootloader?

Step 1: (Downloads)
A) Download Flash Tool : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746 or http://www.multiupload.com/GYL7A7XQBT
B) Download S1tool : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0&postcount=26
C) Download Unlocker : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...77&postcount=3
Step 2: (Prepare)
A) Unzip all downloaded files
B) Shut Down Phone
C) Open S1tool, Click on DO JOB, Press Back on phone, Connect it to PC.
D) Look For Line "XXXX SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE"
Step 3: (Unlock)
A) Turn the phone on, Connect it with PC in Debugging mode.
B) if XXXX is "NOT RECOGNIZED" then sorry, it can't be unlocked.
C) if XXXX is SEMC then run "msm7227_semc.cmd"
D) if "XXXX SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE" was not found then run "msm7227_Setool2.cmd"
E) Wait...
F) if "Press any key to continue . . ." is found, press any key.
Step 4: (Verify)
A) Shut Down Phone
B) Open S1tool, Click on DO JOB, Press Back on phone, Connect it to PC.
C) Look For Line RUNNING S1_EROM VER "x8A029"
D) if x is "r" then it is done, Congrats...
E) if x is "R" then Sorry, Do everything again. or Search in the Frorum for Help

And... It did not work. Same error.

How do you connect the phone ?
I had the same problem, and i followed this steps:
-Power off the smartphone
-Click on Identify
-Press Back and hold (i think it is not necesary)
-Plug the usb
-Release and press again back, and hold for a secs
And finally the program recognize my phone !
I hope you serve!

1.Turn Off Phone
2.Hold Back Button
3.Connect USB(u will se green LED on phone when it will be in flash mode)
4.Stop Hold Back Button
5.Done

I do have an X10 Mini Pro too, with Unlocked Bootloader, i know how to connect it.

[Q] Unlocking bootloader on SP

I am having problem with unlocking bootloader on my Sony Xperia SP c5303 12.0.A.1.257. Tryin to do this in Flashtool:
I Click on BLU button, following steps and then i am asked to unplug the device and restart it in fastbootmode. If i understood it right, i have to hold vol+ and connect USB, but then error appears (asking me for drivers). But there is no drivers for SP in Flashtool-drivers.exe. I dont know what to do.

Bro first download android sdk and installed it... And u have to install flashtool -drivers.. Check all the boxes and install it.. I know sp is not there.. Not a problem.. Dont forget about android sdk

Install the z driver it will work with sp got flashtool folder where u have installed it and navigate to drivers folder there run the exe and check the boxes with z drivers.it will work unless u are on windows 8..

thanks guys, had problems with installing drivers, tried to run Flashtool without it, but then started flashtool-drivers at Compatibility with vista, and now everything is allright)

[Q] Sony Xperia x8 E15i is not turning on..

i tried to update (2.1 to 2.3 ) sony xperia x8 e15i by using flashtool..
but after some steps it turned off..n now it's not turning on...:crying::crying:
when i switch on then it shows only sony ericsson logo in white colour continuously...
Device status is showing "ADB Mode" when i check by flashtool ...
how can i start my phone..
please resolve this issue

Search for a guide on how unbrick your phone. It's only a soft brick.

Repair with SEUS software
How do you did this???
To flash via flashtool you need ftf file rom and the only rom using this method is the SDE Rom witch have and the kernel inside..
So,is your bootloader unlocked?

Xperia sp somc flash device help!

Hiho! My friends
I have some problems wth my xperia sp c5303
Recently flashed z3 experience lp rom by vwadam to my sp
After a week i wanted back to stock 4.2
When im flashing with flashtool it shows system.sin error flashing aborted!!
Ive seen that computer recongnice it as "somc flash device "
In other times ive flashed it with ft computer device manager said "Semc flas device"
Ptessing power button phone vibrates normally show SONY logo and then off!!
When i conect to wall charger/computer it alternante both flash mode"green light" off after show SONY logo with red light gets off!! And the cicle stars again
Ive tryed repair with s1tool but it says unknow error 000001
I think s1 tool is not necesary because phone shows sony logo and power on when Butrón is pressed
I thank some sgestins please :/

1- Put the phone on charge for more than 2 hrs to make sure battery is changed.
2- Download the older version of flashtool v 0.9.18.6 from flashtool.net website and flash the ftf.
Or you can use the official Xperia companion program to repair your phone.

SOLVED!! Flashtool error ver. 9.0.22
With 9.0.18 flashing. Was perfect :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
