Hi friends, a simple question.
Do you know anyone why I cant download with ttorrent files 4gb or more than that??
Thankss
The limitation of file size is imposed by the filesystem in which it is formatted. FAT32 supports a maximum file size of 3.9GB, hence why you can not download a file that exceeds this limit.
My assumption (and only such) is that you are trying to find 3D movies. If that be the case, try using a search term that includes "evo3D" when searching for downloads.

Hi guys & gals.
I am a huge user of apps. At any given moment my app count varies from 140 to 180. Trying out, leaving an app for week, replacing it, deleting some all that.
Still, out of the space available for me to install apps, I am barely using 380 mb of space. More than 1 gb still at my disposal.
Do we really need programs & features like apps2sd on our coveted SGS? Can somebody really think of totally disabling this feature from SGS?
This isn't a topic for the dev section, but hubly asked here because it requires a dev to do it.
Please post your app count & space count.
Not at all
My bad, phone reports 545MB/1.85GB for Program. 192 apps installed as of now.
No I move everything that installs to my sd back to internal memory, eg angry birds

The reason I ask this is its a pain in the A*S to answer every time an app asks me if it should be moved to the sdcard. Can we just tell ALL the APPS, this SGS, & DONT ASK.

I was on 2.1 and now on 2.2. No issue for both.
I need it I guess, cause mine already reached 1.45gb/185gb. What the heck. I have 220 apps only. Gameloft games' files are not using this partition right?

"Only". Rofl.
Not using OCLF are you? That will show the size of your ext2 partition, not true disk use by apps.

ok so this is a simple question i know but conflicting topics have made me post this
i have 1gb system memory
5gb phone memory
29gb of sdcard space
So in short.... WHY CANT I MOVE ANYTHING TO MY ext_SD(the removable one) CARD I HAVE A CLASS 10 32GB SD CARD IM NOT ABLE TO UTILIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*UPDATE EDIT=So looks like the culprit is yet again a phone company making mods to android
+1 to Close the open source!! and go back to google phones.. LG, MOTO, HTC, they all just bloat the sh** out of the phone and take away the modding capabilities
so if anyone has any advice on how or what i can move to my 32GB Ext_SD card... please let me know
I have no problem moving all as compatible apps to the as card. Some apps just don't have that option though.

Some of the games and such are adapted to save on sdcard
Look through o3d forum

OK, I have a quasi solution for you I just thought about. /sdcard is internal and /sdcard/_ExternalSD/ is the your transflash card. Most apps are made to save data to /sdcard which does become an issue when some of the kickass games like shadowgun download 250MB plus of data plus all of your roms and media. What you could do, I gather, is move the directories like those game data directories to /sdcard/_ExternalSD/ and then crate a symlink to it with the same name in sdcard. It's probably what I'LLC do when this last GB is gone, lol.

That's a good idea just put them in the extra SD through the computer or if I can move it with astro maybe ill try that
Hopefully at least I can move my roms since they are the biggest space taker

No, he's talking about the external SD card...as in the card that you can pull out that stores your pictures and videos on. When you move an application on this phone to the SD card, it actually moves it to internal SD application storage. This is my second thrill and neither will move apps to the external SD card.
When you click on apps2sd app and move an app watch and see that your external SD card memory doesn't change at all.
You can edit vold.fstab to,switch how the cards are used

Okay. Continue. I'm listening.
I have a 32 gig SD card I bought specifically to be able to move a ton of apps there. I haven't been able to do so and would love to rather than being limited to the 8 gigs on the phone.
Hope this helps

That method did not work, did not even recognize my sd card ("internal" or "external")
I can post that file when I get home tonight and see if anyone can get them edited.
Okay. Just tell me if I'm wrong. What I'm referring to and what I think the OP was referring to was that external SD card that you buy at the store where you store your music and pictures on. The SanDisk.
The other storage is internal storage, then there's system memory.
Cm7 fixes this.

Dumb question, are you sure you have enough free space on your phone?
sounds like its a pirated copy.. all pirated copies stop bout half way thru. atleast thats how most of gameloft games are programmed
NS4G MIUI
why will he say refund??
Sent from my MB526 using xda premium
im not saying that he stole it im saying thats how gameloft games act when it BELIEVES it was stolen
NS4G MIUI
Lets try this. Firstly, try resetting Asphalt 6 cache. It's what I do when an error comes out in a game. Secondly, if it does not work, try reinstalling. It's the best choice. Thirdly, if the problem is still there, I suggest taking a look on the Rom it is using. Does it support games? Most ICS don't. Also try to factory reset and reinstall the Rom you are using. Lastly, please contact Gameloft. They can help you solve it.
-Edit-
One more, check that you have enough memory or have an SDCard in it. Usually if you don't have an SDCard, the game installs in the internal storage. If you don't have enough space, then either buy a larger (In memory) SDCard or free up space.

There's only one real sdcard, the rest are just symlinks, like shortcuts on windows. They are provided to maintain compatibility with some older apps that expect to find the sdcard at the other locations. No additional storage space is being used.
My HD is starting to get a bit too full for comfort. Does anyone know of a free utility or way to find out what the largest files and folders are and delete them? I'm looking for something similair to ES File Managers SD Card Analyst. I thought Explorer might work, but it doesn't sort folders by size, only files. Many thanks in advance.

FAR Manager should do the trick for you...
It's a console app, so no graphic rubbish to care of

It seems like it might work. If I could figure out how to use it for what I wanted. At this point it just seems to be a slower Windows Explorer.

Do a Google search for treesize free. It takes a while to calculate the size of the folders, but everything will. There's no quick way to do it.

Thank you guys. I'm trying Teesside first. If that doesn't work as I would like, I'll give WinDirStat a try. Thanks for the help.
