Hi. I'm really enjoying my comeback to Android OS after being forced to he with IO5 for a while now...anyway, I love my Sensation XL with its beats software and all but found the Combination of PoweAmp player and Beats is Astonishing Experience But sadly it will last only 5 minutes or so then the Beats software Disabled! This only happen when I play stock player then stop then I play PowerAmp and so on..!
My Question is there a way to Enable Beats software with all players in my Phone!? This will make my Beats Monster Rock harder than it is with the PowerAmp and Beats
Thanks in Advance

My phone came with over earmuffs noise cancelling beats headphones.
And the only difference i can hear is the EQ levels are higher for bass.
Quite disappointed with that really, so with PowerAMP im sure it has an EQ, turn the bass higher, the high range sounds a few clicks up in gain. That little red B is useless actually.
What you should really be asking for is a better quality sound driver for the phone, which utilises the on chip features more effectively. Assuming it has a higher quality sound processor on board.
A bit More difficult, but you cant get the answer till you ask the right question.
I think this may be the right question??
Have you rooted your phone?
If you do, or have, then it's on the RCMix3D ROM as a tweak, it allows you to use beats audio enhancement with other audio players and your video player.
Might be an idea.
Thanks Sonnyhood yes you maybe right with your point regarding better driver through that claimed better sound chip!! In the matter of fact I don't mind and this my point of view that just tweak it to be open to all players like in the Rom mentioned above which I don't prefer I've through a lot of experimental ROMs and rooting in my previous Galaxy and HTC devices and believe me when I say I prefer stable Stock ROM! Just sayin. Beside for my ears the combination of both Beats + PowrrAmp is well satisfy my Ears try it and tell me what u think.

can you explain me the advantages of beats audio?
imho SRS sounds much better than beats audio. much deeper bass and high tones are clear.
maybe it only give better sound an beats headphones?
Good question, I'd like to know too...
OK just found this:

This review is a pretty good analysis of what Beats actually does on a HTC phone (only one I've seen on the internet apart from speculation about the magical Beats)
http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/13/htc-sensation-xe-with-beats-audio-review/
Basically, if you dont use it with Beats headphones you get a crap experience unless you're into Top 40 Sine Waves Under 400Hz.
Thanks I will check that out.

Same here. I like SRS better than others effects. I'm using Westone UM2.
I use srs, beats sounds a bit tinny to me
If You are using HTC Innovation headphones, then SRS wil be the best one fitting you.
If you are using HTC headphones, you gave rocks in your head.
Sorry, but they are really bad IMO.
Take it from a sound engineer: beats audio is nothing but marketing. The actual sound quality you get is no better than a standard consumer product. In fact, it may well be worse, since they crank up the bass response for no real reason.
In certain cases, the sound hardware must put into considerations as well. Such as headphones accessories.

thanks for your professional meaning. how do you rate the other settings like SRS, dolby mobile etc?
Beats practically made no difference on my phone. What does is, DSP manager. But you need your phone to be rooted for that. And trust me, You need to hear it to believe it!
Makes your sound, specially beats, better than any ipod ever made.
I think so. SRS is wider and louder than Beat.
Or maybe I need Beat earphone to run with it
I thought all these sound enhancement things were in the kernel
and that sense roms are based off HTC kernels with SRS
so therefore AOSP roms dont have SRS
Therefore none have beats or dolby
Please correct me if im wrong
All this has come from surfing around other forums, with kernels that say they have beats integration and rezound sound drivers etc.
Personally I don't like srs, beats audio seems to me that doesnt' change anything...
I think that beats driver does something only in phones that have a native hardware support...
BTW, I'm using ue-600..
there is a way to install the Beats Audio, which I RockoDev for all roms in Incredible Gingerbread S, and probe some zip but remain on bootloop to initiate or otherwise do not allow me to use the native player I get FC

I jumped the gun and got my Nexus 7 early. Due to my impatience, I'm left with the limited space my N7 has left. I use Skifta/Doubletwist/iMediashare to listen to my fairly large music collection on my PC and Droid 3, but nothing I can find supports Beats Audio like Google Music.
Is there a way, without using my external SD reader and OTG to listen to my music via WiFi/Bluetooth and still keep the great sound of Beats Audio?

Not be one of those guys, but beats audio is just an eq setting chosen by dre and co that boosts bass scoops some mids and brightens up top.
Dre doesnt know what headphones you use or speaker system you use or the acoustics of the room you're in, so he doesn't know if it is an improvement or not.
Keep eq flatish or EQ until YOU like it on your playback system.
The whole thing is bit of a con, as a studio engineer producer myself it annoys the hell out me!
If u like it that what matters but you can do without it, is my point.
Edit . also Dr dre is in his 40's and a lifelong live performer and producer so his ears are knackered, mainly in the sense that he hears things duller than reality for youngsters. I wouldnt want him setting the eq on my playback. Now he can hear when a tune works of course but 16khz, prob not.

Ditto... my kids keep wanting me to get them the beats headphones and I just laugh and hand them my Sennheisers from the studio and tell them to put some real ones on.

I wouldn't spend money on the headphones, I have a set of my own that are just as nice without the price tag. I just like the Awesome Beats EQ. Its pretty simple and it definitely sounds better than the original DSP Manager.

I had used before HTCHD2 . HTC Mozart 7. HTC Desire HD. HTC sensation XE, HTC one, HTC Droid Dna, now HTC Butterfly S
In my experience the sound quality best ever is Droid DNA, beats audio and deep bass very effective and clear.
i noticed in Butterfly S the bass not deep enough and the beats audio on and off almost same a very little different when turn off and on the beats audio in butterfly s in comparison with Droid DNA, besides when i turn on the X-Wide in jet audio making a little distortion, in Droid Dna no problem and very clear.
Usually am listen to music by connecting the phone in car audio system with amplifier and big sup woofer.
Anybody experience the Droid Dna sound Quality and the butterfly s.?
If any suggestion or solution please inform me.
Thanks
hmm, the DNA's DAC has a bit less dynamic range than the Butterfly s, so it may give a more "harder" sound. According to tests done by GSMArena the Butterfly s has a higher dynamic range and less IMD (a bit more THD though), so theoretically its sound quality should be "better." However, you're used to a more bassy sound you may not like it.
What volume are you listening at? Using the stock music app, volume levels above 11/15 can sound distorted using In-Ear headphones. See this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423846
Using third-party players like PowerAMP can fix this at some higher volumes but there is an occasional clicking that occurs (similar to skipping on old Android Phones.)
Maybe give PowerAMP a try because when I used JetAudio on my HTC One X+, some of the enhancements distorted a bit.
If you don't want any clicking, I think stock player is the only one that works as it seems to use a different audio thread. (you can't use any equalizer app with it)

big thanks for your advise .
i decided to flash beats stuffs into z1. the sound improvement is visible when listening with or without stock earphones or both? also if i get a beats earphone after i flash the beats stuffs, will the sound quality increase further? for earphone choices, beats vs z2 stock earphones which is better?
