[Q] bionic stuck in bootloop mode - Motorola Droid Bionic

hey guys so i flashed a rom to my bionic and it seems i just keep getting stuck in the bootloop and cant get out of it .does anyone have a fix

Use rsd lite to get back to factory stock. Then used R3L34S3D R00T 4EV3R R00T to re-root. Get a boot strapper and try again.
If the rom you were flashing was [K]IN3TX and you tried to flash a theme at the same time. You would have gotten that problem.

If you can get into the recovery you could do the factory reset and wipe data and cache again and reinstall the rom sometimes that will fix the bootloop problem

I agree with both solutions mentioned above. A mix of the two suggestions rather. Using the fastboot menu, clear all your cache and then use the rsd lite (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1262540) to factory restore.

[Q] Can't boot into recovery, help unbricking

Hi, I had a bunch of problems with gingerbread crashing my phone so I decided to wipe the phone and reinstall. After selecting "clear storage", my phone won't boot pass the cross whether into recovery or normal.
I unlocked using fastboot and flashed the recovery-RA-passion-v2.2.1.img
I still can't get into recovery. Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks! I'm losing my mind.
You're fixed now though, right? xD

[Q] Bricked?

I've got Liberty 1.0 installed, and just installed the red ICS theme (because I'm an idiot).
Trying to get into clockwork doesn't work going through M+Power -> BP Tools
And my boot animation is just looping over and over...
Time to SBF? :S I've got an XT862
Sweet... I SBF'd and I'm still bootlooping, just with the stock bootscreen now >.<

Try wipe data/cache
Yes I believe I had to wipe data/cache when I re-flashed the Chinese ME863 SBF. Good luck!
Have to wipe data and cache after sbf.

[Q] My Bionic always boots to 'Bad Flash' screen

I flashed it back to stock 902 a few weeks ago. For some reason, it comes up to the "Bad Flash" screen every time I turn it on. I have to turn it of, hold down both volume buttons, turn it back on, and then choose "normal boot". It's fine after that. Is there an easy way to clear this? I'm currently running SafeStrap as my recovery.
flash failure?
I've been having this same issue. Flash failure is what mine says

Flashing any .img sucessfully should clear the error.
That's what I thought too
Yeah, for some reason, the area does not clear. I updated to Spearmint Gummy ICS thinking it would clear the error, but no such luck.
Did you have any errors when flashing to 902?
download the 902 FXZ file, adb Motorola drivers and rsd lite 5.6. Google for links.
flash the 902 free in rsd lite, will restore you back to stock 902

I has a space error, but I cleaned some stuff off and was able to flash no problem. I first ran into the issue when trying to go from Liberty Rom 2.0 back to stock 901

I did that originally which got me back to stock 902. This screen persists at boot.
Hey OP, Go into the factory recovery and wipe data.
You know how to get to stock recovery?

Just did that, but it didn't work. I did a full data wipe/factory reset in stock recovery. I still get the "bad flash" screen on every boot up.
And you for sure Flashed with the most current 902 FXZ file right? Not with 901?

I went into stock recovery and did a full data/factory wipe. The "bad flash" screen persists at each boot.

I did. At the time, my storage was pretty full. That's when I got the error to begin with. I cleaned some space up and then did it again and it succeeded. I still get the "bad flash" screen with each boot though.
I would try flashing again. Your using rsd lite 5.6 with it right?

The data wipe and factory reset is not going to change the flash failure error you are receiving. You need to successfully flash an image before it will go away. You can do this with RSDlite 5.6 or moto-fastboot the specific images.
I can help you in more detail, if needed.
Here is a good place to download the full 902 fxz...http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-bionic-hacks/202176-detailed-safestrap-instructions.html
Send me a PM if you need more help.
eye_dea is correct. Just flash any image with moto-fastboot will clear the flash failure and let you boot normally.
I had the same issue on my bionic. It said flash failure and nothing I could do would fix it. Finally I found a thread that said to try "FixCDT". I put the FixCDT file in my ADB folder and ran it. Instantly it rebooted my phone normal. I am not sure where the thread was, but just google FixCDT and I am sure you can find it. If that doesn't work sorry.

[Q][Brickbug(?)] Galaxy note stuck at brick animation despite new rom/kernel.

Hi. Would be great if anyone could help as I bricked[?] my phone earlier today.
So here's what happened.
I was on SweetRomV1 JB previously and wanted to flash back to ICS RRv12.
So I stupidly flashed Abyss Kernel from my recovery forgetting that it doesn't support JB rom.
So the CWM started refreshing itself, stopping me from surfing the menu up and down.
I pulled out the battery, place it back in. The phone started up, but the screen was empty/blank/black.
Searched on the net then I realized Abyss Kernel doesn't support JB.
So under some forumer advice, I flashed a Stock ICS Rom using PC odin.
This time, I can access recovery with no problem. However I'm still stuck, the phone is not rebooting.
I'm stuck at the Samsung logo.
So I decided to flash a new kernel using PC odin and a new rom.
I flashed SpeedMod K3-15 using Pc odin and in recovery, I flashed the RRv12 rom.
Now it's still loading the boot animation.
I'm really at a loss now. Can anyone help?
I can access download mode and recovery. But I can't place files into my ext_sd because I can't boot up my phone.
Can anyone help me to get my phone working again?
Thanks in advance.
Flash stock gb via pc odin and work from there. The problem is you flashed incompatible kernels. The flash back to original should be fine.

I did it last night. I'm able to boot up now and I'm in RRv12 now. However, what just happened was, I changed to a fresh battery to charge it.
When I boot up, it shows that battery is disconnected. So I did a power off, and pulled out the battery. Used the method online, dropped the battery from around 2 feet high.
When I place the battery in again, I'm stuck AGAIN at the boot animation.
Any help?

Relock bootloader to update?

I have a spring Moto x with an unlocked bootloader. I want to take the 4.4 update once available so I flashed the stock recovery. Do I have to flash a stock image and relock to take the update? The only mod I have is exposed and gravity box which I could just uninstall first.
Thanks

Yes you should flash stock System. No, you don't have to relock
I had to rsd lite my phone back to factory default and then was able to take the ota with no problems. I tried to do it on a rooted stock rom but the update just kept taking me to TWRP and then stop. So I had to just reboot and do the whole rsd lite deal. Some people have gone back to factory default from using the tool kit but I never went that route.

When you RSD does it erase everything on your phone? I'm asking because I tried to go back to stock recovery (I also have TWRP now) but I keep on getting the droid with the triangle and exclamation mark...

The droid with the triangle is stock recovery. If you want to rsd you can delete the delete user data line to keep your data but you should just have to flash stock recovery and system and should be good to update.

So what you're saying is that if see that droid then I'm good? Also, do I have flash both system.img and recovery.img?

As long as you have no other mods, deleted or frozen apps yes you should be.
