[Q] URGENT!!!! sumone plss help

Hii,,
CAN ANYONE PLS HELP ME on this issue….
2 days back i ve changed my stock rom to extra ordinary rom 3.2….now wen i tried to chnge it to 3.3 my usb mode is not working….like wen its showing usb charging is on but in computer its saying usb device not recognised…y is it like dat??? i ve tried it with sum diff data cables…still de same old story!!!!!
SUMONE PLS HELP ME TO RECTIFY THIS

1. What firmare or ROM, you use? cause 3.2 rom i dont understand.
2. If you have CWM, go to recovery and delete partition cache and dalvik cache and reboot system.
3.If you have no CWM, go to download and flash other ROM or stock ROM
4.If your phone cannot go into recovery or download, remove tha baterry for 10 or more minutes and then try phone to switch on.

are you asking why the device is not recognized on your PC?
enable USB debugging mode in the settings page. also try to reinstall the phone drivers. uninstall and reinstall samsung kies. maybe this could help.

Like desewer said + make sure u are on mass storage

Yes sometimes many of us forget to be on mass storage and keep wondering that why isn't this device getting detected. Unplug the usb switch to mass storage and then connect usb.

hi,
i can't connect with usb. when i plug in it just loading my battery. i can't even click on usb-tethering on my phone. The problem came when i put the first rom on my phone and stuppit that i was not making i backup. i treid diffent roms but nothing work. also wipe cach on cwm. even when i put the phone in download mode, he doesn't connect. even kies and odin don't move. i thougt i where my drivers on my pc but that is not the problem. can someone make an update.zip for me with the stock firmeware and then i hope dat wil work. i'm from belgium and my phone is s5830xwks2

well happened to me and i used another pc....
use a card reader for data transfer...
else try reinstalling usb driver....or a factory reset to phone(backup ur data by titanium pro

CWM -> Mounts -> Mount SD Card
if that doesn't work then reinstall your drivers, try installing Kies, it has every driver that is needed.

i agree with others it my be drivers!
Re-install drivers (re-install kies)
Try again
Try other computer same happened to me!
in my gf laptop my ace is not recognized or is but only sometimes, and in mine is always!
Try also different cable!

try to type in dialer *#1234#
you must have 3 lines
pda, phone and csc if csc is missing so kies wont recognize your phone and you have to put any csc files from any rom to your system folder and it will work =)

maybe there is a problem with ur ace hardware or pc drivers because i was like that too,but i use a little tilt and now it works for me

i treid an other rom how has scs in it and it doesn't work, neighter an other pc and cable.... :-(

Download Samsung driver at Samsung.com . Install it. Restart your PC and ur phone . Try it.

nope, won't work.....
is there a way that somebody make me an update with stock fimeware and rom, so that my phone back stock is? maybe thats solves my problem....
I have try an other pc and the same problem.....will not connect, just loading battery.

strange.....when i install the rom, my phone doesn't load....just the screen android comes up and stays that way. i waited ten minutes and nothing happend.so i installed back a newer clockworksmod, wipe cach ect........ and put back cm9_galaxyics-ace-beta3 on.
there someting very wrong with my phone i think. by the way my phone is still in root mode, must i unrooted?

I just wanna share my experience. Once i had this type of problem but when i removed my external hard disk it worked again. If u have connected any this type hardware like printer or something disconnect that.

Yeah I had the same prob once, all the juice was going to other devices and wasn't letting the phone be detected, so +1 for that idea.

thats the problem..when i plug my phone in usb nothing happend but charging. even ubs tethering can i not select on the phone and when i put the phone in download mod he doen't react.

have you tried to fiddle with the USB debugging? I had a similar problem once. I kept on plugging it in and changing the USB debugging in the settings until it worked. Annoying but helped.

Looking for some advice please

Hello,
My wife has somehow managed to get her galaxy mini stuck in a boot loop. USB debug was not enabled before this happened and I cannot see the phone with adb. I can get to download mode, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go from here?

what is the current rom? try wipe data/factory reset in recovery.. but user apps will be gone and settings will be back to default..

Install kies in ur pc
Install odin for mini
Dwnload tass.ops
Check for working usb cable and port
Dwnld any stock firmware from samfirmwares.com
Extract its contents and place it anywhere in pc
Keep ur phone in download mode...power+centre+down buttons when phone is off
Connect to pc while running odin
If odin detects your device ( to check this, observe a yellow bar in COM1 AFTER connectin phone)
Click one package, select ops, select tar.md5(stock firmware)
Push start
Have some water take a potty break
When a blue colour in COM1 is shown with pass in it...THEN ONLY DISSCONNECT THE PHONE
THE ABOVE STEP IS VVVVERY IMPORTANT
Use ur phone like before
Happy flashing and good luck

There's absolutely no need to flash froyo before gingerbread. U can directly flash gb...

No.. U HAve 2 ..I Also Had Flashed GB via Odin 10-15 Times But It Didnt Work For Me ...
Thn Aftrwrds I Flashed The Stock Froyo ... Which Worked For Me ..

Thanks for the replies. I will try odin, im wondering if odin will work if I cannot see the phone with adb? It is currently stock everything as it was out of the box. The first thing I did was the factory reset but it diddnt help.

If ur from any cm7 or cm9 then this is useful.
first flash GB using odins u see the samsung logo boot looping now close the odins ,remove the battery,reinsert it and now enter into recovery and wipe data and cache. (I do the same thing when I flash gb from cm9)

It seems odin is windows only? Does anyone know of a good tool for Linux?

Cannot open sd-card on PC when phone is on

I always don't find it's a problem because I always use Wi-Fi to view my SD-card files. Now I'm trying to use PC to mount to my X8 when it is on. But in the screen there's no button for me to mount SD card. I tried to flash update-rom-chargemon+vold++AlfsKern.v1-8.zip but it's not working also?
Did i miss some step? Really need help here as i need to mount sd card using pc when the phone is on. :crying::crying:

By the way i'm using GDX v28 with alfs v8.

When you connect your phone to your pc there is an android icon in your screen,hit it. If you wanna see the mount button,rotate your phone.

or you can use adb to explore it:

if you are not getting any option like mount usb then.. simply restart pc.. or plug the cable and wait for sometime... dont know why but it happens with me too... ..
so simply reboot pc and try
if you are using alfs v9 then flash the appropriate fix that is v7/8+ zip...

Actually that's a known "missing" of the gdx v28,when you connect your phone the icon appears but you can't see the mount button,you just have to hit the android icon

yes.... the color of droid changes from grey to .. blue i think..dont remember..
what i meant was if he is unable to do it even that way then what he needs to do

Not sure what you ask...
Your x8 doesn't recognize your sd card when you have connect your phone to your PC because your sd card is being mounted,so its like you have disconnect it from your phone and you have connect it to your pc,if you wanna use it while you have connected hit the unmount button.
If its not that what you asked correct me

I am using V20a version with unlocked boot-loader and installed CWM .. I have a problem with that if I want to boot to S\W upgrade ( pulled out the battery + connected USB + "-Vol") for going back to V10H version , my mobile phone shows me black screen and there is no notification with my computer that my device connected like " LG Modem " .. Please, what is the problem and how to fix ...???

Turn OFF the phone, keep the battery on it, press Vol- and connect to PC.

Just endure to end of march. Thats when official ota for jb is out.
