Hi all ,
I am using V20a version with unlocked boot-loader and installed CWM .. I have a problem with that if I want to boot to S\W upgrade ( pulled out the battery + connected USB + "-Vol") for going back to V10H version , my mobile phone shows me black screen and there is no notification with my computer that my device connected like " LG Modem " .. Please, what is the problem and how to fix ...???

Turn OFF the phone, keep the battery on it, press Vol- and connect to PC.
Just endure to end of march. Thats when official ota for jb is out.

My Lg O2x is on 2.2.2 v10d India I wanted to update it from 10d to 10e but when starts updatingbthrough pc it staks at 4% n after some time it says remove battery n switch off b switch on n tryagain i did twice or thrice it again staks at 4% n not update can anyone tell me why its not updating is it bcoz my phone is rooted or what reason or if any one knows where i can find 10e file for download then i flash it from cwm ! Please kindly help me i will always be thankful for you !!

Same thing happened to me. The solution to fix it was to hard reset the device prior to update.(Make a backup if you choose this way). If Anyone in this forum can suggest a less “painful” way ….

I have EU O2X updated via LG Soft to 10E (automatically) and the phone began still just rebooted. I returned to 10D
How did you return to 10D?
I have the same problem,too.Because iwant to overclock my v10d optimus 2x so I try to flash neoblaze kernal.But option failed.Then I try to flash lge version from v10d to v10e,but what too bad is that my phone
can't reboot to main screen.And can't enter s/w update！Then i serch the internet it says that i need to flash nvflash,OK,then i try to flash nvflash...At last my phone restore to the original state:-I

The LG software never worked for me, it always (and i mean always) lose connection with the phone and once it stopped during the process my phone was bricked. Nvflash does the job properly

Nvflash detect the APX Device and tried to go back to different ROM / Bootloader, even tried [TOOL] Full Brick Repair (Clean & Easy) by RomSlammer. But all process ends up same...first it downloads the bootloader and after that nothing happens....it stucks at " waiting for bootloader to initialize" ...screenshot attached ...
I don't know what to now...pls help ...

yes, nv flash drivers were always there, my device recognized as APX. the phone displays nothing, not even the LG logo.

What happened with the phone? Have you tried any new thing (kernel, bootloader etc)? Or it just powered off itself? Don't you drobbed the phone (maybe into water etc)?
Sorry for the dumb questions but we should now how things went bad before we recommend a solution.

I was running pungus cm 10 rom in ICS bootloader, the night before the inident(when my phone does not power on../boot ) i flashed the MIUI 4 3.1.11 on ICS Bootloader by rugglez, played with it for few hours....but didnt like the speed and stebility of the rom...then tried to flash..JellyBam 4.1.0 by iGio90 ...but installation got aborted (reason 7 ...i guss), then I flashed back to Pengus CM 10 rom on ICS bootloader. the phone had a clean installation....i installed all my apps and synced the phone......all ready....in the morning I received one phone call too...then i went to sleep ...when i woke up ...found the phone hanged at the start of the camera app with screen bricked...i thought the phone somehow got activated with lockscreen camera shortcut and froze there for some reason.....I pulled out the battery ...and after putting the battery again ...i CAN'T TURN ON my phone.......and when i try to nvflash the phone ..it stucks at "waiting for bootloader to initialize" ...i tried different cables/ usb ports in my laptp and even changed laptop also...but same problem. Just don't understand what went wrong.
**ps, the phone was NOT heated when i found it freezed.
I hope i have explained my situation...thanks for hearing me out.
Even if you have tried I would suggest that you should use the all in one tool kit.....the amazing tool by my friend spyrosk...
Just try it one more time....with another usb port and or cable.don't forget to charge the battery too

Its maybe 4 months since she bricked her OB to death:

have you tried to download LG Mobile Support Tool?
Install it, Open it then remove the battery for a second, put it back long press on VOLUME UP while inserting USB CABLE then on top of that tool look for RECOVERY enter your phone's IMEI and Model press OK and wait.. .

hi i also have the same problem but in my case i can put the phone in s/w upgrade mode and when its in update process already it stop and says restart and when i restart it it says the same again,i try it already for many times but still it says restart,what should i do?

Use smartflashtool and maybe check your drivers and if you are able to, try it at another pc as well.

i as i was trying to upgrade from v10h to v20 via KDZ the procedure stuck and couldn t been copleted.i wait for 15 min and nothing so i unplug the usb .from then the phone opens and saws the s/w upgrade icon and it stuck like that.i try reflash , downgrade other flashing methods,lgmobile pc recovery tool, from my pc and from others but nothing.the phone opens from the power botton saws the lg thread and then saws and stay in s/w upgrade icon .i try to boot in recovery but nothing the phone does the same. please help

Hello Guys,
i have bricked my Phone yesterday by deinstalling Google Movies and Google Books (yes I am a idiot). So today i wanted to flash the phone via kdz. So it works correct until my PC got a bluescreen... Then i wanted to flash again. So i put my phone in S/W Mode, but it shows the S/W Update logo foe 2 secs and then the screen turns black. After 5 more secs the LG starts to vibrate a lot. I cannot use the S/W anymore to restore it. I hope you can help my with this BIG Problem.

which version you have?try to go in sw mode with battery in.Can you enter in recovery(press the "volume down" and "power" key to boot, do not release the volume down key until the screen appears with a red triangle robot)?

i have normal lg 10h_00 version, i cannot go into recovery mode but it goes on with the akku, so the s/w update is still there.

okay stuck on iparam = 708 with battery in...
It was same for me first but battery on when u connect battery than but it out than when u see parameters screen but the battery back

pc suite dont recognize my phone
Did you install drivers for your phone?and when plug your phone in pc check in settings and connection tipe check lg pc suite and turn on usb debbuging in developer settings

Try to flash with LGFlash Tool, look at this thread:

If you go lower, on the 7th post, you'll find some files to download if you need them.
You can choose from the two methods posted there, 1st post (OP) or 7th post...

ok if i start in usb mode then choose port 1 it breaks up at 22%
Just let it stay in UART, in port selection choose the first one you saw active. Pay attention to the guide

I don't use Skype... And right now I'm not at home, sorry. Pay attention to the guide, do it slowly and be sure your battery is almost fully charged.
