Howdy y'all!
So, here goes-- I finally managed to get a build to boot and stay stable for a few minutes before it became completely camera shy and stopped talking to me besides R2-esque bleeps and boops.
What works?!
Touchscreen
Lights
Vibrate
Buttons
Basic Graphics
USB Debugging
Beyond that list, not much else.
I'm still having some issues with libgralloc and the new ICS 2d acceleration, as I'm completely unfamiliar with it.

That's okay, where can I download it??
Right now I'm debating releasing my "alpha6" which is stable enough for people to aid in debugging, but as you'll see in my teaser pics/video not stable enough to even really use to debug at all.

Awesome. I set up everything you'll need on my github account.
Just pull my repos to the proper places, and make some bacon.
https://github.com/thecubed/android_device_htc_holiday/tree/ics
https://github.com/thecubed/android_vendor_htc_holiday/tree/ics
You'll need both repositories to compile a working version...
All the instructions you need are in the README of the device tree.
That said, these repo's aren't 100% up to date with my working versions just yet, since I tend to work locally then push milestones to github.

Awesome work! I haven gotten a build to boot yet, I keep getting Random Offset errors when flashing. MD5 checks out. Also, I didn´t have this problem before, but I can´t seem to sync up with your repo anymore. I keep on getting:

I'm not using a Git repository with android's "repo" extensions, just use git to pull my repository to the proper directory (create a directory in device/htc/holiday, and a dir in vendor/htc/holiday, and pull my repos into those directories)
For random offset errors, are you using the latest CWM?
I am running your beta 2, 5.5.0.4, still getting a different random offset error each time I flash.
Edit 1 *Recloned your git and all is peachy now. rebuilding as we speak. I´ll report back once it finishes building and I try flashing it.*
Edit 2 Still getting Random Offset error.

You'd be surprised at the number of devs who actually do this. Jokersax has been building his cm9 blindly for awhile. Up until just a week or so ago he got an atrix. But looking forward to testing once it goes public! Thanks for spending the time to create a new rom for the Atrix!
99% of the devs out there develop for a bunch of phone and only have 1 phone... they develop for multiple cuase they have testers.....
we're using some known device code that is know to be working well. with our customizations and base... i am doing the first build now, and will update the OP within an hour or 2 with the link to the download, if i get good feedback we'll put in more of the goodies. and it will become offical. and all.
Are your bases of known working code coming from the Cm9 code by the Atrix-dev team(Turl1) or Photon dev team(jokersax)?

A mix of both, some of the turl1 has better working, some jokersax has better, so we're combinging, once we verify its working, those that made the device trees will receive FULL credit for the device port portion of course.

Hey everyone as Bajee is taking a break from RootBox, he has left updates to other Individuals. I decided I would start posting my own nightlies for people to use if they so wish. These builds will be for people who want more current nightlies than are officially posted. Please remember these nightlies are created using only RootBox sources and if there are any issues there is a chance it is my compiling that is at fault. I have been using my own nightlies and seem to have no performance issues that are not in the official nightlies.
I have seen others do this so I thought I would help out. Please leave some form of notice if you download a nightly from me (I.E. Thanks or comment) so that I can the number of downloads I am receiving.

Just flashed and everything is great! Still have the bugs from phablet and tablet modes (I guess bajee hasn't fixed those) but THERE R NO MORE FCS! Cheers!
On a side note, the lagging with Ruzzle (and I assume camera is also affected by it too, it's a commit that bajee plans to revert) has not been fixed... Yet. Not as bad as the FCing though.

LOL...
He says he's got his source up, but it doesn't sound like he will be compiling it. Plus it needs the radio bits. I'll see what I can do with his t-mobile build and one of our aosp builds.

Oh wow thanks. I just switched my computer to a SSD and it's only 12 gb so I hope I will have enough room to dual boot. But I'll read over that stuff. I have always been interested.

If you know how to compile from source, then you should definitely try building from his source. I want to, but I just don't have the time right now to set up Linux to build it.
