Apologies if this is a repeat question. Is it possible to see the email list so that the Senders stands out at the first lines of each email on the list. Currently I have the subject as the first big line, and it is big and bold. Sender is the second line and it is harder to see.

Hi ppl,
I need some advice concerning the following problem please:
------
When I create a new SMS and add a recipient to the "TO:" field from my contacts list, only the phone number is inserted... not the name of that person.
Yet, when I reply to a SMS (received from someone who is in my contacts list), both the name and number are present in the "TO:" field.
Therefore, whenever I browse the messages in my sent folder, I don't who I've sent them to as only their numbers are shown (where I've created new message for those people rather than replying).
Any ideas please?
All I really need is for the recipient name and number to be copied to the To: field when creating a new message.
For example:
To: "John Doe" +447123 123456
Instead of:
To: +447123 123456
Thanks!
I'm new to PDA Phones, so this may not be Tilt/Kaiser related.
When I send text messages (by going to the contact list, tapping the person's name, and then tapping "send text message") to anyone, they get it without any problems. But when I go to them in the "sent" text messages folder, EVERY text message displays my brother's contact right below after the "To:" (with the correct contact) and "date:" (with the correct info). It shows my brother's contact as if he was the sender.
Why would this be. What can I do?

Have you got your own number listed as brother in your contacts?
Wiggy
maybe you have his old phone number or something...
edit: and you still have it in your contact list
Got it,
Thank you very much guys. How dumb of me!
I listed my number in my brother's contact (the difference between his number and mine is 1 number).
Thanks again.
Dear Boardmates,
My contact now is showing in alphabetical order (both phone numbers and e-mail address) which is quite difficult for me to look into it? Is it possible to make the contact's context shows in particular order (shows phone numbers from A-Z and then e-mail from A-Z rather than mixing up together)? How to change registry to make it happen?
Many thanks
funny most of the time people put e-mail, address, and numbers under one contact.
I have been exchanging tons of SMS messages with a bunch of my friends. HTC Diamond does a good job of displaying the messages chronologically that i would have exchanged with a specific person if i tap on his/her name. However, it restricts the number of messages shown and i need to keep tapping on Older... again and again to see the older messages.
Is there a way that i can copy/download/save the entire SMS conversation i've had with a specific person? I don't want to copy/paste text manually into a file as it would take ages. Any tool/utility/application that exists to facilitate this ...preferably freeware !
Thanks

Hi,
There's something I'd like to do on my samsung galaxy note that I was able to do on my Symbian-based device in the past, but I can't figure out how to do it under Android.
I'd like to save multiple SMS drafts per recipient. However, my Galaxy note only seems to permit me to save one SMS draft per recipient, with each subsequent draft overwriting the previous draft for that same recipient.
Here's why I'd like to have this capability:
If I want to type a long SMS to someone (more than 160 characters), what I like to do is split the message at logical places such as after commas, sentence endings, etc. I would do this by getting close to the end of a given SMS message and then stopping it at the point that I choose, saving it as a draft, and then continuing my text in a new SMS starting at the beginning of the next sentence, phrase, etc. Then, once the set of drafts is completed, I will first proofread and make corrections in the entire group of drafts, and only then will I manually send them off, one after the other.
Yes, I know I can type a long message and the SMS app will automatically split it into pieces after 160 characters, but that often splits words or breaks sentences and phrases in places that I don't want them broken.
Here's how I try to accomplish this on my G1:
Invoke the Messaging app.
Select New Message.
Select recipient.
Compose first SMS.
Select the Back key (draft 1 gets saved).
Select New Message.
Select same recipient as before.
Compose second SMS.
Select the Back key (draft 2 gets saved).
However, at this point, draft 1 has been overwritten by draft 2. In other words, only draft 2 remains.
Can anyone think of a way for me to accomplish what I want (or at least something similar) on my samsung galaxy note?
Thanks in advance.
