Tried already. I am just gonna do a NVflash and start from the beginning
On my phone, if i turn off the phone and hold vol-down and power i get the software update screen, but, if i remove the battery, put it back and do the same thing, it boots the clockwork recovery. It seems removing the battery is vital to it booting into CWM for some reason
Never managed to figure it out. Just Nvflashed, rooted, installed cwm and bam, back I'm cyanogen in 10 mins

How do I boot to recovery ?`

My Touch Pad went nuts and decided it wasn't going to boot. It will start to boot but only gets to the screen that says loading.. The next screen would be the boot animation but it never gets that far.
I have to hard rest the TP but instead of booting to the Moboot menu it just goes right by and keeps trying to boot cm10. So I stuck in loop hell.
I was trying to boot to recovery but I'm not sure you can without the menu.
Anyone have any ideas? I can get into USB mode but that's it. Haven't tried ADB but not sure if it boots far enough for adb?? another problem is my battery was at 15% so I have to do something fast once I turn it on as it would charge the way it is now.
HELP!?
Hold down a button such as one of the volume buttons while it is booting from a powered down state. Moboot cannot proceed with a button held down. You'll get a prompt to release all keys and you should then go into the moboot menu.

If you hold the volume up Button and press power till you see tha hp logo, you should go into the recovery mode right away!

Well that's how its supposed to work. But once I let go of keys it starts to boot into moboot (I can see the screen) but then there is no actual menu and it just automatically starts booting CM10 again.
Anyways I found the ACME un-istaller and was able to run it before my battery totally died (it was at 5%) and at least now I'm back to WebOS and fully charged. I guess I"ll have to reinstall all the Android stuff from scratch. But WebOS isn't all that bad and actually work very well, if only their was app support.
Thanks for your help though.

Motorola milestone BLACK SCREEN

Hi,
I just (Well about a month or two ago) bought my-self a motorola milestone then i really loved it...
Now just now, i wanted to change the battery icon for fun right... and then i downloaded the framework-res.apk and i replaced it in the system>framework... then I Kept on receiving a message saying launcher pro unresponive... and there was only on option FORCE CLOSE... so i did but it kept on showing up so bassically i couldnt use my phone... so i pulled the battery out and put it back in i then saw the (M) logo and i thought it was going to be fine... but right after 20-30 seconds. there was a light black screen and i waited there for 10 miutes and nothing happened...

Make a backup and try to re-apply the ROM's update.zip without wiping anything.

the problem is i can't show the phone on my computer because it needs to be turned on... And also, my power button is broken...Do you think there is another way to access my phone's system on my computer? :crying:
Pull the battery, connect the USB-cable, re-insert the battery and hold the x button while doing so.
This should take you to recovery and from there you can enable USB mass storage mode.

Thanks... But its stuck on the bootloop... I think im getting it fixed tomorrow though...
Thanks Anyways...
P.S: Although if you can think a way around the bootloop...
Try to enter recovery - either by holding X on the keyboard while powering on or pressing down on your D-Pad.
Recovery works, even if the Android system is bootlooping because it lives on a seperate partition.
You already did this before flashing the ROM.

I have done that but then, what do I do?
Just follow the instructions again - it's not that hard.
Press Volume Down and Camera to access menu, apply update.zip, then Open Recovery starts, and so on...
Blank Screen
Pulled battery and connected USB... WORKED!
Idk why, but a million thanks!
:good:

Cm11 does not replace the evervolv line in the boot .img. My suggestion would be to install latest twrp reboot then install aan evervolv rom. That will get rid of the cm11 line.

I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THAT A WHILE BACK AND IT ALWAYS FAILS
Thanks though

Power button never works to turn touchpad on.

I have 2 identical 32gb touchpad. Both are running dirty unicorns Oreo. I used the alternate install method for both. One works great and has the tweaked kernel. The other one had an issue from the get go. It wouldn’t reboot system from twrp. I held home and power then it booted up. I also noticed that when holding the power button to shut off or reboot, the menu pops up and if I select either one it never reboots or shuts completely off. Just a black screen. To start back up I have to hold home and power together. It was also unable to boot up with the tweaked kernel. I restored with Webos doctor and reflashed the rom. I used tptoolbox to erase and restore webos partitions and also relflased a6 firmware before the webos doctor flash. Still the same issue? Any ideas?
I should also add that after the webos doctor install it says it is going to reboot and I have to hold power and home to get it to reboot.
