This is my setup...
GV1.3 + Blitz 2.1 Kernel + ICS Responsiveness Twek + SuperCharger v6 u9_RC4 + KAK.
Apps running in background Script Manager (to periodically free ram) + CPU Tuner (OCed CPU to 1.9 ) + Llama + CF.lumen
I see sometimes screen freezes, especially when flicking for scrolling. At times the freeze is of a very shot duration, so the scrolling is jerky and not at all smooth, and at times the freeze is very hard, and I have to turn off the screen and turn it back on to get it working again.
Any clues as to what might be happening, or how to go about debugging it.

I experience this as well. Screen and hard buttons (home, back, search, etc.) have no effect. Only pushing power button off and on brings it back.
had this same problem while running at 1.9 GHz, turned it down to 1.7... no more screen freezes.

I've had this problem on gingervolt 1.3 with no blitzkrieg so I don't think it's the kernels fault.

my power button seem to stop responding at times and it isnt the hardware thats messed up i think it has something to do with the software because when the power button stop functioning completely i do a battery pull and can turn on the phone perfectly fine its only when the phone is on is when the power button stops working...i noticed it mostly happens when i plug it into the dock maybe its the deskhome app not sure tho if anyone have this problem please let me know so i know i wont be the only one
Every phone cab have it's funky moments. I have seen this a couple times. Here is a solution I have found that works on all smart phones, and I believe that most will agree. Your phone is a computer, plain and simple. Try doing a battery pull every day our two.
It sounds like your problem is very defined in when it happens, is that so?

I do battery pulls when the power button completely doesn't work then sometimes it works for the whole day then sometimes takes me like few more battery pull after the initial pull for it to respond its annoying in some ways but I guess I'll live with it until I find the problem

hmm i think i figured out the problem if anyone still cares....when my phone is low battery or somewhat low (not above a certain percentage) my power button starts working normally.....dont know whats causing it maybe too much power hAHa
Something is definitely wonky with the phone when the screen is off... I have the lock screen disabled and it takes 3-4 presses of the volume buttons to wake the screen usually. Also, I have gosms wake the screen for certain peoples texts, and sometimes if the screen is off and I get a message from these ppl, the phone will decide it wants to vibrate for 2 mins, keep the screen on and not work at all until it resets itself... eh.

ok i know im gettin annoying with my theory's on why my power button doesnt work correctly but another thing that my power button starts working normally even at full power is when i change my wallpaper....i wonder would it be a wall paper problem although now i just think im going crazy lol
With both GingerFusion and DreadGinger I seem to have the issue that when I turn my screen off or it shuts off on its own after being idle the lights on the 4 Soft Keys stay on and take an extra few seconds to turn off, which wouldn't be a big deal by if that was all, but once they turn off they keep flicking on and off every few seconds (like every 5 to 10 seconds) which is hella annoying. Anyone else experience this and if so is there a fix. Or does anyone have any ideas on How to fix it. I have tried wiping cache and dalvik cache as well as re-flashing the themes all to no avail. So if someone could help me fix it. I would really appreciate it. I hella dig these themes and would like to use them. But that flickering on and off repeatedly is straight up annoying.

2 ways you can fix it. Either hold your phone up to a light source (computer monitor or other light source).
Or, press and hold the power button, then select "power off" instead of reboot. Power the phone completely off, then restart the phone.
A little tip to avoid that happening again:
After you flash a theme or ROM, instead of selecting "reboot phone now" in the Recovery menu, select "Power Off." Let the phone turn completely off, then turn it back on.

hey i got a question, lol
on a stock zvc rom i used on LG Esteem (similar to revo) i made like 1 or 2 theme tweaks with framework-res.apk, services.jar & LGHome.apk... i seem to have an issue where i hold power for menu, select power off. but phone just reboots to boot animation than powers on rom again..
i only switched out statusbar_background.png in framework, added transparency line to services.jar (which seems to be working) and swapped LGHome.apk with version from zvb(previous fw update prior to zvc) so do you think it could be related to any of that, or is it just an actual problem with the rom..? thank you for any help..
I've noticed that whenever my One overheats or gets too warm, the screen will start to tweak and register hundreds of "ghost touches", if I could call them this.
For instance, the home/back, power, volume, and screen will register as being activated, which in turn causes the phone to (a) take a screenshot, (b) switch between desktop and recent apps, launch GoogleNow, etc. These actions happen fast and don't stop. The phone registering even results in the vibration feedback tweaking, so the phone is vibrating, switching screens/activities, screenshotting, and just generally tweaking all at once.
The only way to stop it is to turn off the phone using the soft reset method, hitting the volume down button on reboot to get into quick menu, shutting it down, letting it cool off, then rebooting.
Anyone else having these issues?
Firmware is the latest update, but I've been having this problem since the last build. Hoped update would fix it. OR stay in A/C rooms haha.
TL;DR: When One begins to overheat, the capacitive home/back buttons, side buttons, touchscreen itself become completely unresponsive and registers hundreds of "ghost" touches.
I have the same problem!

Maybe it's the new firmware... When I flashed the firmware, my ROM wouldn't respond on the touchscreen at all but TWRP did so I flashed ARHD and it's fine now.

When it's happened (2-3 times) I was using ElementalX 2.4 as kernel, now with the stock one everything seems ok

Sounds more like the touchscreen driver changes
Some1 help me. I'm running maximus hd 50 with elementalX 19.2 kernel. My phone just freez. It's not responding. I can't turn it off or restart it.
I kept holding power down button for more than 3 minutes nothing.
And also in adb device is online but when I give "adb reboot " nothing happens.
The home and back key is lit up and notification keeps blinking but display is black.
Is any other way to restart or turn it off.
Or I've to wait for battery to die
Setting was while installing this kernel
Only htc logo sleep/wake is enabled
1486 cpu frequency
Slightly overclocked gpu I don't remember exact value
Undervolt 850.

That doesn't work also the button keeps blinking but nothing happens. It has made my device unusable. The buttons are lit up and notification led is still blinking. I'm in a city where there is no HTC service center and I'm not gonna trust with a local mobile repair store so I'm gonna wait for battery to die. Unfortunately

I have never seen one not shut down with some combination of power and volume up or down or both
Yeah but finally solved it. Weird but I read somewhere. I put my phone under flashlight (bright light) and hold down the power button only and it worked ? weird
Hi
I have the AT&T galaxy s6 edge 128GB, I've being using it for about a month now. The phone is amazing except for when I hit the home button which causes a short pause before showing the widgets and the shortcuts. After contacting Samsung they gave me these instructions which seems to work:
Enter into safemode by:
1. Switching the phone off.
2. Switch the phone on + hold the volume down button.
3. when the screen turn on, release the power button and keep holding the volume down button until seeing the lock screen.
*THIS PROCESS WILL SOFT REST YOUR PHONE. MEANING THAT YOU BE LOGGED OUT OF ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS LIKE TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM AND IT WILL DISABLE ALL THE PLAY STORE INSTALLED APPS UNTIL YOU SWITCH BACK TO NORMAL MODE*
After entering the safemode, use the phone for about 25 minutes then restart it to normal mode. That's it.
So have you seen any performance improvements?

I saw a difference. The phone was fast and smooth in the safemode, which means that one of the apps that I installed is causing an issue when I use it in normal mode.
Sorry for the late reply
