Getting weird message after flashing new ROM - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am getting an unusual message every 5-10 minutes on my phone. "<Untitled> Download Unsuccessful"
I have not clicked on anything to download, I just restored everything with Titanium Backup.
Any idea what it is or how I can stop it?

I guess that might be the problem. Restoring of apps. Try to uninstall the apps again and see if it stops.

Help! acore process forceclosing

I just Supercharged my phone changing the minfrees (still don't understand what they are) to the aggressive setting, but forgot to do the "run on boot" module. When I restarted my phone, it goes into a loop where it goes to the home, the displays "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" over and over, each time restarting the home app.
I can't do anything on the phone, and didn't backup right before this. My md5 on my last thriller doesn't seem to match, so I can't just restore that backup, and would prefer not to reflash thriller stock and use old titanium backups or anything.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks a ton
Do a reset in recovery should put it back to norm or reflash ur rom ur on

HELP: com.android.systemui in FC loop

I have ViperOne 4.2 rom installed with latest fw, radio and Elemental X kernel 10.10.1. I have this setup now for about 2 weeks or so and have not changed anything on my phone drastically or have installed any new software etc.
Today all of a sudden my phone rebooted and once it did i am greeted with the message that Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped. When i click ok the UI seems to reboot itself quickly but then i get the same error message again and again after repeating these steps.
I have restarted my phone several times, even booted into safe mode only yet the same error keeps comming up again and again.
Can anybody advise what the problem could be or what to do to make it stop?
Worst case scenario i can restore from a Nandroid backup but i would prefer not atm as i'd rather know what is causing this problem.
Any help would be appriciated!
Great. I tried to delete the cache in recovery just as a try. When i rebooted i was greeted by stockish type of welcome screen with setup your phone info. So i went back to recovery to try restore the nandroid backup which is on my phone. After some time TWRP sais "Restore failed".... never had that before either.... wonderfull...
So this day just keeps getting weirder and weirder. While trying to somehow restore my nandroid (which still does not work btw) when i go to power off my phone via TWRP it sais no SU is installed and it seems i do not have root permissions.
Which is very odd because i am S-OFF, SuperCID for quite some time now....
What the hell is going on today? Meh...
I had the FC in com.android.systemui too, but so far i did`t have the issue with restoring. Would be also thankful for further advise...
Anybody an Idea?

if you're using a custom rom try a 'dirty' flash (flash without wiping). That fixes most of these types of FCs without losing any data.
I am using the Viper 4.3 ROM, was choosing to NOT install some of the Apps that would be included on a regular install - maybe this causes the FC. I try without removing these applications. Thanks for your advise! :good:

[Q] Cyanogenmod update problem

I recently updated from cm-11-20140213-NIGHTLY-ovation to cm-11-20140402-NIGHTLY-ovation. Now every time my nook boots up it continuously pops up with "unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped", and "unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped". When I finally get past those pop ups, it says that DSP manager has stopped, then the cycle repeats. The pop ups are continuous and prevent me from using the nook. I tried going back to the 0213 nightly but now when I do that the home button (both physical and nav bar) don't do anything and I am unable to access the settings menu from the home screen. How do I fix this?
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure on how to solve your issue. However, if you're willing to format/clear data + cache and reinstall a fresh new install of CyanogenMod; then your issues should no longer persist. Of course, the latest nightlies can contain errors and therefore is not recommended.
Try making a backup of your current setup, and reinstall a fresh copy of CyanogenMod (the last working version that worked for you) and then restore your app data only.
All the best.
Sometimes gapps needs to be reflashed with a update as well, but I don't remember if that was one of those times. Something to think about.

Phone suddenly stopped working. Getting error

I was updating some built-in apps (forgot which one), then I restarted. I have not done any root.
Now I'm getting this message after boot up: "Unfortunately InitialBootSetup has stopped.
I can only press OK, but it keeps repeating itself after 1 second.
I even tried restarting in safe mode. But I still get that same error pop up.
Please advice.

Outch. Some weird problem there. Can you try to recall what you updated? Have you disabled apps ?
I don't know what this package actually do, so I dunno if it's possible to block it via adb. Either way, If you're up to it, the fastest way would be to repair your phone via PC companion, but your settings and apps will be lost :/

Magisk crash at start when cerberus app is installed as system app

Hi guys,
After a lot of attempts, i've found the reason about magisk crash at startup.
I have a OP6, tried with all STOCK SO. 8-9-10.
when install Cerberus App, after the reboot and for each next reboot, manager of magisk crash.
I don't have a solution, but it's sure that the crash happen after this installation because i tried the other apps one to one and nothing happened.
Just Cerberus do this. Anyway, after the error message, everything works. Then it's just boring to get error message when start the phone, but everything works the same.
Someone has a solution? Thanks.
