Clockworkmod recovery problem - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, wanted to install a rom using Clockwordmod recovery, flashed and then used recovery and the phone booted in the Clockworkmod recovery menu. Rebooted, done the same thing, but the phone booted in the Android system recovery (3e) / Samsung recovery utils for bml menu.
I rebooted 10 times, but still can't get into the clockworkmod menu.
This menu I have now only has these options:
- reboot system now
- apply sdcard:update.zip
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- format internal sdcard
Is there a way to reboot into the Clockworkmod recovery menu again?

Try to instal again a stock with Odin and flash CF-root

When you recover the phone from CWM, you also recover the RecoveryMode from 3e??
So I think you should reflash your root-Kernel again with odin or something else.

Click reinstall packages and it will install the clockwork update.zip that was put on the sd card. Just don't remove that update.zip from the sd card as its how clockwork loads itself when you boot into recovery
You need to flash back to stock or another rom/kernel with 2e recovery using odin

[Q] Andriod recovery mode 3e

I got in tho this Android recovery mode <3e> With POWER+VOL DOWN and then pressing the HOME button when the litte driod icon shows up and i see this:
Andriod system recovery (3e)
Reboot system now
Apply sdcard:Update.zip
Wipe data/facory reset
wipe cache partition
I cant press any of the 4 selection and it just says:
.
Formatin Chace...
Formating MISC...
And nothing more i just se the android icon unpacking thing. I have to pull out the battery to be able to turn the phone . What does this menu do? Why cant i press anything?
The phone works with no problem except bad battery. So what is this menu? I want to do a hard reset . I did with VOL+HOME+POWER down but it feels like its not really a hard reset because i can see all my old photos and my phone is still rooted, Isn't a hard reset suppose to wipe the root?
Thanks!
This menu is Android Recovery.
You can install CWM Recovery by Paul which has many options, one of the most important are nandroid backup and flashing custom ROMs.
The stock Recovery doesn't have many options, as you see, this tool is just for basic operations, like making factory reset and flashing signed update zip's.
But why dosent anything happen when i press Wipe data/factory reset?

It will wipe your /data and /cache partitions and will remove installed apps, custom settings, such as Google Account, but won't remove root.
To remove root you need to reflash /system partition with a stock image, such as Paul's NVflash v10B ROM:

[Q] My sAmsung galaxy mini is stuck at the android loading screen.

My Samsung galaxy mini is stuck at the android loading screen after I update something from the recovery menu. Is there any file for me to recover the system files or anything? Please help me quick
if you have a cwm back up, you can try to go to recovery mode, wipe data and restore your back up.
if you haven't make a cwm back up, i'm afraid you should wipe your data via cwm, and reinstall your ROM. Your data will be gone.

[Q] Stuck at Samsung Boot Screen

Hi guys,
I just flashed the _AllianceROM_JellyBean XXLSC_ALpha1 via rom customizer from JB RocketRom V1. I am now stuck at samsung boot screen and i can't access my nandroid backups generated using CWM as the TWRP doesn't detact them . I would really appreciate if some1 could tell me how can i solve this problem.
Thanks!
Have you tried doing a factory reset?
Use odin and download mode to go back to any stock rom as a second option
I didn't have the chance to enable usb debugging before this happen. Is there any other solutions for this?
Why do you need adb? Boot into recovery and do a resrt

Stuck at samsung boot screen (the one with samsung logo and NOT galaxy note) is called bootloop
You need a fresh new system, try the following:
1- reboot into recovery (Home + Power + Volume UP)
2- Install a safe kernel - I recommend (Abyss GB Kernel)
3- In recovery >> Advanced >> reboot Recovery
4- when it boots up, do Factory Reset/Data Wipe 3 times
5- Do Cache wipe 3 times
6- Go to Advanced & do Dalvik Cache wipe 3 times
7- Go to Mounts & Storage & do FORMAT SYSTEM
8- Go to Mounts & Storage & do FORMAT PRELOAD
9- Now, Re-Flash Alliance ROM & Reboot - The ROM should come with its own Kernel
Furthermore, it is best if you did your nandroid backups in CWM just before installing a new ROM and while being on Abyss kernel (or whatever safe kernel you're intending to use) to avoid MD5 Checksum failure when restoring
Also, I would recommend you do MD5 Checksum on the Alliance ROM zip file and make sure it matches the one in the thread (you'll find it in the OP, almost always next to the download link - I use MD5Check for windows
P.S. If you can't get into recovery, you got a brick issue, refer to brick threads
Best of luck

[Q] Fracked up my phone need help!

Hello everyone, I am so desperate, I rooted my Galaxy Ace GT-S5830, then with root uninstaller by mistake (HUGE MISTAKE ) I uninstalled the main menu, now everytime I starth the phone all i see is a black screen with the notification bar (I can scroll it down) but then nothing, if i reboot it never starts again, I go into recovery mode, and select factory reset, but NOTHING.
I found a tutorial on how to flash a rom, but how do I flash Cyanogen Mod 10.1?
To flash CM 10.1 you need to read the OPs post on that thread, there are instructions on how to flash it.
Once you have flashed it successfully you will be sorted
Do you need a link to the cyanogen mod 10.1 thread?
Sent from my GT-S5830
Download the root file,CWM Recovery and CM 10.1 ROM and copy it to your SD card !
Then go to recovery and root your device again and then flash CWM.
Now do factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache.
Then go to "install zip from sdcard" and select ur ROM !
Reboot ur device and done
alright! i fixed my phone! it booted now! I flashed stock rom, now I have a question, how do I install cyanogen mod?
thanks for your help!

Is this the one that you want?
if it is this is how to install it:
-Boot into recovery
-wipe data/ factory reset
-wipe the cache partition
-go to, advanced/ wipe dalvik cache
-Install zip from sdcard (it will be called something like cm10rom.zip)
