I have Sixaxis installed on my Touchpad and it's working fine. Now when I try to update it from the market, it shows purchased but says my device is incompatible. Same goes for Chainfire. Any advice?

I had this too. It was soo bad Adobe wasn't compatible! I had changed so many things in the build.prop I just flashed the CM9 version over the top using clockwork mod. Also wiped cache before as well just cache not the system. When I booted back up it was all good.

I recently decided that I wanted to do a fresh install of CM7 using the latest nightly. I wiped everything, including boot (which I think is the problem). I made a bootable CWR SD card and installed the latest nightly and gapps. Everything booted up fine and ran great, until I tried to use ROM Manager. Every time I try to boot into recovery, the Nook hangs at the "ReadForever" screen. It was hanging at the new Cyanogen boot logo, but in an attempt to correct the issue, I flashed the stock 1.2 uboot. I have also noticed that several apps are now showing up at phone size when they were fine before running the same setup. I am running n87, 5/23/11 OC, and the stock 1.2 uboot. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
You can try to disable the "compatibility mode" in order to try and get the apps to use the full screen. Regarding the Clockwork recovery issue, I have no idea - sorry!
Hey, I've been running the stock build on my rooted O2X for a while now and tried the CM7 nightly's after having a bad experience with CM7 RC1 a month-ish ago.
I backed up with CWM(via rom manager), and CM7 works fine.
But i don't like how it remaps the external storage and for some other reasons is does not work for me.
So i'm trying to go back and its not working.
It says its restored successfully but boot stays on the LG screen with the progress bar underneath. only a battery pull gets me out, which i have probably done 20 times now.
-It was initially unable to unmount /system, but after i fixed permissions that error was gone but it did not fix the problem.
- I went into advanced restore and did each one separately, they all claim to have worked successfully. but no dice
-I used back2ext3 hoping that was the root of the problem, but no luck there.
i wipe data, cache as well as dalvik every time, but still nothing.
What is up with this? is it possible that my image is corrupted or something? but why is it saying restored successfully?
CM7 nightly installs fine, so im using it in the interim, but its not optimal.
thanks for any ideas.
I bet you have an older version of CWM.
Make sure you're on at least v4 then try restoring.
Nope, im running 4.0.0.9, which is current
My NC is about six months old (long before the "blue dot"). I've rooted it and wiped it and installed at least three versions of CM7, two of Phiremod's (one CM7 based and one MIUI) and two versions of MIUI. Never had a problem. Now I do. For some reason, and I can't even figure out what I did, my Nook will not boot. It hangs at the Cyanogen logo screen (not the blue circled Android, just a simple green logo). I used CWM (newest version) to boot into recovery and wiped everything, then reinstalled CM7. Hangs at the same place. I used CWM to boot into recovery, went to mounts and reformatted everything, then manually rebooted, then reinstalled CM7. Hangs at the same place. I reformatted everything and tried installing MIUI 1.85. Hangs at the same place. I reformatted everything, rebooted, wiped everything, then installed nook-complete-restore-1.0.1.zip to try to get it back to stock. Boots to the "N" and then HANGS! WTF?? I must be missing something but I can't figure out what. Help!
Maybe try a different version of cwr? create a bootable sdcard with cm7 and then run ROM manager, there is an option to install older versions of cwr

What version might that be? The latest is 3.2.0.1.......
Try a different SD card or writing a different image to the card. I had the same problems you are describing. I used eyeballers image (sorry I don't have the link) and I finally got things to.work

When I first got my touchpad the other day the first ROM I put on it was aokp. I now want to put the latest cm9 nightly on it but think I'm missing something in the procedure. From cwm i did factory data reset, wiped cache, data, system and dalvic then installed ROM then gapps. Booted to moboot and there is a listing for both aokp and cm9 and neither will load, just goes straight back to moboot. What am I doing wrong here?
Try using acme installer 2

Acme installer 2 or acme uninstaller and then start from scratch? Is there something I did wrong or should have done differently? I assumed what I did would've wiped out aokp and installed cm9 over it.
There is a zip file you can flash in clockworkmod available in the classicnerd.net icsbeta feed called tga_removal or something. I've been using that when ROM jumping between installs along with clearing user data, cache and dalvik. It pretty much removes everything except moboot I think and gives you a clean partition to play with.
I am not able to install google apps on my hp touchpad. after a month or so after messing with classicnerd and cyanogenmod and it getting stuck in a boot loop, i picked it up again and tried wiped everything, now CM9 the latest nightly works great but whenever I try to install the google apps pack, it freezes. I have tried from recovery and RomManager with rebooting. both freeze with the exclamation point in a triangle. I could do it before and it is the latest version of both.
Is there something that I am doing wrong?

Never have had to use it but there's some type of gApps fixer you flash that may help solve it. Can't remember what its called or where its at but shouldn't be hard to find.

Here's the gapp fixer utility link : http://www.tabletsupportforum.com/forum/showthread.php/1645-Gapps-amp-Gapps-Fixer-for-CM9-(ICS)
I have used it and it worked fine for me. Good luck.
Thanks for the advice and help and I wish I could say it helped. Not that it is wrong, but almost as soon as I posted this I tried to download and install the google apps from RomManager. I don't know why I thought of it since on my other devices I use Amon-RA for recovery and I dislike clockworkmod and don't ever use RomManager. Lo and behold, it worked! I was very surprised but after updating things still work fine today.
Glad to see it worked for you.
Another option I would have recommended would be to install the GooManager App (from www.goo-inside.me) and tried that. It'll grab the latest GApps for you, too. And it allows for incremental ROM downloads, so you don't have to always get the 100+ MB ROM file every day (if your ROM author supports that).
