has anyone tried putting a droid 3 in the webtop dock? I know it wont go into webtop mode but i want to know if it will act as a regular hdmi device and output to it.
There has been countless topics with the same question. Do you know what the search function is for?
(PS: it is there for a reason)

Its just using the webtop as an HDMI monitor with HID mouse and keyboard. I always thought this would work but never confirmed it since I am able to hook my Droid 3 to an HDTV and use a bluetooth mouse (with cursor) and keyboard simultaneously. Chances are the connections had to be moved on the dock to fit the Droid 3.
Can anybody test this I would like to know

The razr i has only got a micro usb port you probably know...
Somewhere i heard it would be possible via an adapter to get hdmi signal out of this port...
Can soneone guide me to one of those adapters or is one already shipped with the device?
Thanks

One is not shipped with the device, but if the USB does support HDMI out that would be fun to try for inclusion in other mods.
You'll need to know if the razr i is MHL compliant. If not you should not be able to have HMDI output on the microUSB.
If so, you'll just need a MHL adaptator, something like this:

Mattlgroff are you going to buy one?
I am not sure where i heard it...

EDIT: Cancelled.
Apparently it doesn't work on the M, so I'd be surprised if it worked on the i. It will be cool if it does, though.
it does haves a dock app do ,and somewhere in manual and info papers that comes with the phone, you can read several statements that point to a dock port

Hi Robert,
Do you own a PS3, XBox or Apple Tv????
The reason I ask is because if you download app called 'DoubleTwist' from google play store this consolidates all of your music and videos into one application instead of having seperate apps for each.... Once you have this downloaded and all your content on you can download there paid app called 'AirTwist' for double Twist.
once you have these 2 seetings you can wirelessly send your videos and music over any wifi network to a Playstation 3, Apple Tv or Xbox and no need to have cables lying round and probably costs the same if not less than buying the cable!
Hope this helps and if so please don't forget to press the Thanks Button on the left under my user name
Hi everyone. I want to buy Fire HD, but reason why i didn't done this yet is that i need to connect my MicroSD to it. I know i can do it by OTG cable, but default Kindle doesn't support it.
Would it be real, if i flash Kindle to CM10 (when it be realesed) ? I read that OTG is supported by kernel ICS and JB .
Thanks for answers
I really want to know this as well.

If this queston would see someone who already flash his fire HD to beta CM10 and try to do this :highfive:
I was looking through the source from amazon awhile ago and the drivers appear to be there, its just turned off in the current kernel. Admittedly I really know nothing about compiling anything, but it looks like it might be doable at some point in the future.
Can someone help me i've been trying to figure out how to get lapdock on my atrix hd... Is there a way to do it... Please help

mirror mode fullscreen is the best you can do.
I have been browsing lapdocks for sale and it seems there are several versions.
Which is the model that requires flipping the plugs? Is it the Lapdock 100 with the 10 inch screen?
Also, there seems to be a lapdock made for Bionic, with 11.6 inch screen- can this on be hacked as well?
Finally, the lapdock 500 with the flex cable connector- can this work with AHD? I cant seem to find a good close up pic of the connector itself...
Any advice appreciated.

Hey guys, any idea if this will work? Saw some otg with power from ebay. Read in nexus 7 forum that they were able to do it, was hoping it will also work with our device, but i think they used a custom kernel to be able to work, does stock samsung kernel supports this?
Im planning to makr my GCam a mini pc

Sad to say it didnt work for me, i think we need to compile the kernel to enable it and make our own cable by adding 40.2k ohm resistors on ID pin
